The Slider House

Best place in Nashville! It was a blizzard and they were the only place open. Didn’t slow them down a bit. Great food, amazing service. Thank you Chuck and Aaron for making a wonderful memory out of what could have been a tragedy of weekend.

We went there for songwriters night they do for free on Tuesday nights and it was a great time! They also have live music every Friday night as well which provides a well done alternative to «The Broadway Experience» in Midtown. Definitely a place you must go if your in Nashville. Great food, great prices, great music.

Excellent little burgers! Want to say this is the third or fourth time I’ve been in here and it never disappoints. Tried the special the bartender Chuck suggested and was highly satisfied! This place has a very good vibe and is full of a lot of character basically it felt like I was having a drink in my own living room! Definitely coming back again! Not to mention this place has the best management I’ve been seen in a long time! The extremely helpful manager I think his name is Ken? Made sure to come check on our table to ensure that we are having the best experience possible! Super awesome and extremely polite! Highly recommend this place. If you haven’t been you’re missing out!!!

Honestly wasn’t really hungry when we went here but they gave us the options for a la carte sliders for $ 4 so of course I had to get it. I got the Boursin mushroom bacon slider and it was so delicious I almost wished I got 4 sliders. Even their bloody Mary’s had a slider. Good prices and fulfilling food. Two thumbs up.

Great atmosphere… Staff appears to be extremely stressed when crowded. There isn’t a host/​hostess so its first come first serve. It was busy so it took a while to get noticed that we hadn’t been waited on. I would visit again but on a slow day. I hate for the reader to seem like I’m a complainer but the servers attitude was most definitely the worst I have experienced anywhere. Use caution when visiting.

Love this place! The food is great and the bartender, Aaron is a hoot! Bay of Pigs is my favorite slider. Try the soft tacos too. Great selection of beer and awesome happy hour.

Blood orange mimosa and sliders. I love you whoever came up with this place. Seriously I would do filthy things to you. You’ve combined my two favorite things. Your bartenders are awesome and the beer koozie is such a nice touch.

This is a good place for sliders in The Gulch. The Champagne of Beer Dips is tasty. I’ve tried the parmesan fries and the housechips (splurge and get a side of ranch dressing). As for sliders, The All American, Jack FM, Southern Comfort, and Nashville Hot Chicken are my faves. Unless you’re really, really hungry, just get a couple of sliders (you can even go ala carte and just do 1). I tell you this, only so you can save room for their slider pies. I’m fairly certain the phrase You Only Live Once (YOLO) was created to encourage people to eat this dessert.

We went here for dinner one night and it is seat yourself, so we had trouble finding a seat at first. They have an impressive beer list which was awesome! We tried a bunch of different sliders and they were all good, but not amazing. Jack FM was good, Southern Comfort was good, Bay of pigs was good. Chicken Calirado was my favorite!

Stopped in driving from Oregon to Georgia. One of the only places that had good food open on a Sunday night. Delish! We ordered four various sliders, all amazing. ;) only reason I didn’t give it five is I’m so hungry my judgment is flawed :)

Chuck was a great bartender. The wings are amazing and I am a wing lover. Some of the best I have had. Great location, excellent food and great place to watch a game. I will be back.

We were staying at home 2 suites right down the road. All the restaurants in this area are busy. We found sliders. didn’t look like much, bunch of college kids. I ordered the chicken colirido and Texan minus the jalapeños. The sandwiches ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. Also had the side salad with the angry vinegarette. i would put that on everything. I want the recipe. .we finished with the apple pie. like a McDonald’s apple pie but a trillion times better. Can’t wait to come back to this restaurant next month.
The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

We stopped in here to have a little bite, and have a few beers, and because they allow dogs on the patio. The sliders were very good, the beer was cold, and the service was good! They even brought a little bowl of water for the dogs.
They don’t serve Miller 64 or Budweiser 55, which is what I drink, but they had Mich Ultra so I went with that!
We would definitely return.

Excellent food, good service and smart drinks. Mezcal Mule rocks here.
Been 2 days now, both times have been great!

The shots here are great… the ambience interesting. The food here is rather disappointing. Yes they have interesting names like Bay of Pigs and Southern Comfort (and I been here twice). But the sliders here just simply taste greasy and overly salty.
The feel is a bit weird because it is schizo between a sports bar, trendy slider joint, and down home dining establishment with rock music playing in the background.
Great for drink dining… but not much else

Coozy covered up that the bartender gave me the wrong beer which I could forgive on its own. But then kept the same pair of gloves on to cut jalepenos while also handling cash, cards, beer, food and checks, defeating the point.
Add a bonus liquor law violation of putting those same jalepenos in a vodka carafe and taking them out later, and I’m not ordering food like I had planned. When I closed out, he had rung up the wrong beer and was very terse about it.
Addendum: he then broke a glass on top of a bunch of clean glasses and barely cleaned up.

I used to absolutely love this place. Until I saw their limited menu… all of my favorite sliders are gone! I don’t understand why they thought this was a good idea.
Bring back the dude!

I’m only giving it 3 stars because it just wasn’t what I was hoping it would be.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for months now, but I’m thinking it was based off an entirely different menu I saw…
But what I will say about what we did try– which was all 8 of the sliders they do still offer, they were pretty good for the most part.
(And they let me get all the onions for each on the side for my BF, because i can’t eat them)
I’ll start with…
*the All American– Your ‘basic cheeseburger’ Juicy little patty, seasoned well, with nice crunchy lettuce & tomato and some type of aioli.

*the Jack FM– same patty, but with a cheese sauce that there just wasn’t enough of, but i liked what i did taste, BBQ sauce, bacon, & carmalized onion.

*the Nashville Hot Chicken– fried chicken breast in a decently spicy sauce (kind of like a buffalo) cole slaw– (way too much on ours) and pickle.

*Chicken Calirado– Grilled chicken (which ours was a pathetic excuse– looked like a mangled little chicken strip) which is supposed to have all these different toppings like avacodo and cucumber, etc,… all I tasted was the small piece of chicken i got and bread– but i will say the seasoning on what little chicken there was, was good

*The Texican– Beef & Chorizo Patty, Avocado, Roasted Jalapeño, some kind of smoky sauce– too much jalapeño for my liking, and no avacado came on it, but this was by far my favorite patty. Very flavorful– already planning to make my own version soon

*Bay of Pigs– Smoked Pork Tenderloin, Swiss, Country Ham, Pickle, Dijon…
Could not even eat this one. The Pork was the toughest piece of meat I’ve ever tried in my life, and there was a huge piece of fat around the entire side. Totally gross. Ham was good, though, I’ll at least give it that.

and Last, but not least–
*Skinny Jean– Black Bean Patty, Beer Cheese, Avocado, Jalapeño Aioli, Roma Tomato… I was really surprised at how much I liked this actually. My BF hated it, but besides the Texican, this was my favorite one. It was like crunchy refried beans with a gooey cheese on top. Really good.

But I probably wouldn’t be back since I don’t live close.

Wow, slider house has changed for the worse. Thx for taking all the character and nashville style right out of the place. The menu got noticeably smaller and of course they’ve added a cocktail menu bc EVERYONE has to have a cocktail menu in nashville. Way to be original, slider house. The bartender is still awesome tho and the foods quality hasn’t dropped so I guess I might go back. May as well go to any other place in nashville tho. They’re all the same now.

What a great concept. Wish we had one of these in St. Louis. Simple menu and well executed. Great varieties of burger and chicken sliders. Even a couple of vegetarian options. They showed a lot of creativity in their offerings. I liked how they served their beers in 16 oz cans in a koosie. The waiter was great. Sat down at our table and explained the menu and made some great suggestions. He also was a good ambassador for the city and offered a lot of great things to see.
