History

Established in 2007.

Named one of Nashville City Search’s «Top 10» Award Winners, Studio BBC is located on historic Music Row in the heart of Music City. Established by owner Betsy Briggs-​Cathcart in 2007, Studio BBC’s team consists of a diverse group of artists with extensive salon experience in color, styling, and hair cutting techniques. Utilizing a superior line of natural-​based products, all aspects of skin and hair are considered when creating individual images. Our team also specializes in hair and make-​up for photo shoots and video shoots, and for special occasions such as weddings of any size.

The mission of Studio BBC is to craft an outstanding and versatile image for each of our guests that best suits their bone structure, lifestyle and image goal. We continually strive to achieve new heights in the image industry as a strong Salon leader utilizing the best products available, the best artists available and to maintain the highest quality in ethics, integrity and focus.

Business Owner

From model portfolios and runway shows, to music videos, national television commercials and print campaigns, Salon BBC owner and image consultant, Betsy Briggs Cathcart, brings years of experience and expertise to create an individualized style and overall image for her diverse clientele.



Betsy has worked with some of the nation’s top photographers and stylists including Nashville photographer, Jim McGuire, and New York’s Beth Boldt. She has crafted images for promotional campaigns for Toyota and Budweiser, and also worked as part of the set crew for numerous video shoots, including Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and the Mavericks.

Betsy’s true passion is imaging — helping people find their image goal and then managing the process from start to finish.
