Hello everyone! Just wanted to give y’all a heads up so that maybe someone else could be spared the inconvenience. Your belongings are not safe with the valet folks with this company! No guarantee that your vehicle will be locked while they have it or that anything you have inside will still be there when your vehicle is returned. Had my Ipod stolen from my vehicle while assisting my mother get to her oncology appointment last week. Keys were out of my possession for approximately two hours. Vehicle was returned minus the ipod and it’s cord. After some back and forth phone calls, I was just informed that because they had received false claims in the past, there was nothing they could do. While I am sure hundreds of false reports have been filed in an effort to get free electronics from the folks working hard to eradicate cancer in people’s lives, this was not one of them. I know, I know, the overall rule is «they are not responsible for items in your vehicle.» I get that. I should have cleared my car of anything over $ 5 in value before giving him my keys. It’s my fault, I guess. But, what with my mom’s newly returned issues, I suppose I was a little scatterbrained. So, just as a heads-up to anyone else, park your car yourself if you and your passenger(s) are physically able to do so, or make sure there is nothing that you value inside when you relinquish your keys.

Although the overall care I received was good, there were some problems. First, I was double booked for OR equipment so had to change buildings. There were problems communicating with my insurance company regarding my deductible. After surgery, I had to be transported 2 ½ blocks to Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, with very little observation(2 very distracted staff members engaged in a personal conversation). No one ever got me up to walk, my catheter was left in long after it was ordered to be removed. There was less frequent observation than I would have expected. The nurses were all friendly and personable.
