O’Reilly Auto Parts

I had the misfortune of having my battery peter out today. I’ve always had a good experience with O’Reilly’s… Large retail chain, but with a genuine and hometown feel. Today was no different. Brian was the gentleman that helped me today… Out in the freezing rain to change my battery out. All the while, being a funny and lighthearted guy. Great service!

So as part of getting ready for my drive down to Atlanta for my sister’s graduation, I went here to get some new parts for my car. Specifically new wipers and a new air-​filter, as well as some fuel system cleaner.
The people here are so helpful and nice, I just rather not go anywhere else. After nearly ripping my thumbnail off (OWWWW!) trying to remove my old wiper blades and put on the new ones, they were nice enough to come outside and help me out. Afterwards they even let me use their restroom to clean up. I had to circle back after leaving to return the rear blade I got, as it was to tall to safely work on the rear windshield. They swapped it out for a more appropriate blade, no questions asked, and after I installed it, I was on my merry way to my next stop on my to do list. Seriously, I won’t go anywhere else for my automotive parts needs, period.

Somehow, between Pep Boys being closed because of the Flood, or Autozone not wanting to wait on me O’Reilly has become my Auto Parts place of choice. They aren’t always the most attentive, but they always seem to have what I’m looking for and will usually help me if I stick around too long looking dumb. So if you need auto parts, you should do well to stop in.

After my sister and my mechanic convinced me that I could put a new battery in my car all by myself I headed over to O’Reilly. This neighborhood has tons of auto part stores but Husband swears that this place has the best deals. They were very helpful but then again if you want amazing service at any store like this the only requirement is that you are a girl. Sexual discrimination is not always bad. They offered to carry the battery out to the car but since I was going to be tough and change it myself I did not accept the help. (They probably would have put it on for me if the car with the dead battery would have made it there.) But that would have made my victory much less sweet.
The moral of this story is: «Any girl can change her car battery if she wants to. (And O’Reilly has good prices and a helpful staff.)»
