History

Established in 2000.

Our dental office was started in 2000 when a Nashville dentist retired. Since then we assumed the dental patients of the previous dentist, and have grown steadily over the years.

Dr. McGee is a member of the American Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Academy of General Dentistry, as well as state and local dentist associations. Dr. McGee has received recognition from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for excellence in cosmetic dentistry at the annual session meeting in Nashville. Dr. McGee has also been featured in local media discussion the latest dental technology.

Dr. McGee has a great service at an affordable price. Finding a dentist that meets all of the criteria that brings value and quality service has been a challenge over the years. This is why I think many people continue to move on from dentist to dentist. Well I think I found the one that I plan to stick with. I say this because the experience I had going to his office was much more than I had expected What really stood out was that the entire team was well organized and focused on an efficient, affordable, and professional experience. I highly recommend giving this team a try. They are affordable and talented. My experience was outstanding and I highly recommend this office for any Dental needs. Additionally, I would like to say that Emily is an outstanding hygienist who really impressed me with doing what she was trained to do in a very professional manner.

A word to the wise… Always check with your dentist to see if they guarantee their work and for how many years. Unfortunately, I had to learn this lesson the hard way at Matt McGee’s. The good news is this whole experience has forced me to seek out a more competent and skilled dentist that truly cares about my wellbeing.

I hate the dentist. The sounds coming from inside my mouth and reverberating through my brain is not pleasant. Emily, my hygienist makes things tolerable… if not enjoyable. Not having visited the dentist for several years, my first visit was… terrible (my fault); however, despite Unilocal,jerks and frequent cuss words, I made it through… bruised ego and all, via Emily’s care… and humor.
Since that initial visit, I’ve come to secretly enjoy my visits. I’m not naïve to believe I’m the only person… but the ladies and Dr. Matt treat me like a friend (not like the kind you nod to or quickly shake hands with at a restaurant, but the kind that remembers details of your life and you catch up with where you left off).
I subconsciously chose to not see a dentist for years for a reason… now I find myself looking forward to the McGee Crew… and my BP doesn’t go up quite as much A solid 5 stars for this office of professionals.

I haven’t even been to this place of business yet, and I normally wouldn’t be excited to get my teeth cleaned. However I am looking forward to my appointment after speaking with Nicki on the phone. (Not sure if that is the correct spelling for her name!) She was very cheerful and helpful, and it really brightened my morning as it wasn’t going so well at the time. Normally when you call a place of business, people sound like they hate their life. It really made a difference and if someone has to scrape metal objects against my teeth, I’d rather it be at a place where people sound happy!

This dentist is well deserving of 5 stars. Absolute best receptionist I’ve ever experienced, also a great hygienist. She cleaned my teeth thoroughly, and she didn’t insult my brushing habits. Dr. McGee is incredible, he’s very nice, but not too nice. They don’t try to rip you off — and this is important when picking a dentist. I’ve never had any major dental surgery here, so I can’t speak for that. But I know for routine cleanings/​checkups, they’re the best. Nashville has hundreds of dentists, so please do your homework before you pick one.

Dr. McGee and his staff are some of the best in Nashville. I’ve been going here for a few years and I’ve referred a couple of my friends who also sing his praises! The best thing about this office is not only does he do the normal (cleanings, root canals, fillings, etc.), he is also a great and talented cosmetic dentist. His staff is helpful and understanding and I really appreciate that this office offers a simple payment plan for work performed… which is super helpful!
