The other guys tend to have big, dirty, out-​dated presses, lots of stubborn traditions, and dubious customer service. Some don’t even have presses — just copy machines. Some of them have trucks full of boxes that have nothing to do with printing. Some of them even sell pens and desks. Jive! only does one thing, does it well, and does it without breaking the bank.

History

Established in 2005.

Jive! was created to bridge the gap between a copy shop and large commercial printer providing the speed and convenience of a retail copy shop with the quality and services of a large commercial printer with pricing usually less than both. With a marketing and design firm as a parent company, Jive! brings a new level of creativity and service to the Nashville printing industry.

The folks at Jive hooked me up with some slick printed documents. They were incredibly nice to work with, prices reasonable, and had a very quick turnaround (24 hours for 100+ pages bound). Will never go back to Kinkos or UPS on this stuff — the quality speaks for itself.

A few years ago, I helped organize a benefit. Jive! donated printing of much of our promotional products, and I was impressed with the product. Fast forward to this week, and I needed some All Access laminates printed for an artist. I remembered the quality of Jive!‘s product and decided I’d go to them for the printing. Besides, I am all about supporting LOCAL businesses.
I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the product… the best laminates I’d had done to date! Seriously impressed with the service, the product and the price. They have a life-​long customer in me!

Some of the nicest people ever. I didn’t actually use their primary services, I just need to print a 2 page boarding pass, and they let me do it for no charge. They were so incredibly nice as well. I saw some recently printed color jobs (menus and posters) sitting on their counter, and they looked incredible!

Used them at a former workplace and they were fantastic.
My boss at the time said that they keep things in archive, for a limited amount of time, so that they can re-​print when necessary. Unfortunately my boss gave the wrong name/​info and they couldn’t find the file. No problem — uploading the file was easy (they use Dropbox among other ways of uploading).
The quote they gave us was slightly different from our last invoice — it turns out they were using a different ink that they felt stuck better to the paper we were looking into. We were fine with that. And in addition to giving us a quote on the number of pieces we wanted, they gave quotes on how much if we were considering more or less than the initial quantity. That was actually helpful since this was a project that was variable in terms of what was needed.
Fast turnaround and was ready before our due date.

The best when it comes to short run printing! Very good quality from a digital press with staff who know what they are doing. Several designers on staff so they understand my printing needs. Always able to meet a short turnaround when I need it! Very competitive (believe they will beat other local quotes), they host AWESOME mixers periodically and have free soft drinks and wifi in the customer area!

My office has used Jive since I’ve started there. They are fast and friendly. The best part is they proof my work. There is has been times where my graphic artist has mispelled a word, or i had an extra ‘0’ in my order ording 10,000 posters instead of 1,000 (yikes!). Their rates are competitive. They have free soda’s for customers, wi-​fi for your last minute projects– and a design team on site to discuss your ideas with the crew. Its a hip print house that will do anything from posters, invitations, newsletters, stickers, postcards. you think it they’ll find a way to make it.

Efficient.
Jive is certainly professional and efficient. Unfortunately, it can sometimes be a rarity to experience both of those words but that is never the case with Jive.
I have worked with Jive on several occasions that have included mass printing for a very large scale event and also for smaller quantity jobs and they have always provided fair quotes and been ahead of deadline. I also can’t give them enough kudos about how well they communicate. They always make sure that they send over updates and revisions and are very clear on pricing and realistic deadlines. In an industry that can be known to over-​promise and under-​deliver, it’s never the case here!
Located in Cummins Station, their location is central and you can park in the lot across the street for free to pick up your order.
They also offer design and mail services too.
