Hip Hues is «social» screen printing. What is that? YOU experience silkscreen printing firsthand! Owners and sisters Sondra Noble & Tracy Dunn are passionate about sharing this art form with Nashville. We love that screen printing is unique, customizable, interactive, and fun. Plus, you walk away with a great piece of art every time! We print at private events such as corporate events, grand openings, kids’ parties, bachelorette parties, camps, family reunions, and more! In addition, we offer BYOB/​Family Workshops where you can learn the entire silkscreen process and print whilst enjoying your favorite beverage! This is a memorable experience that people truly enjoy. You and your guests walk away with an awesome t-​shirt, tote bag, or canvas print by which to remember your event. History

Established in 2012.

Hip Hues was created when founders Tracy and Sondra were discussing things to do around town. Tracy had been selling some of her screen prints in coffee shops. Sondra said «I’d like to do that too», and Tracy said, «Well, you can! Even though you’re a terrible artist!»

Thus the idea for Hip Hues was born — it’s fun, it’s art, and anyone can do it. Hip Hues hosts BYOB/​family workshops at their studio at Platetone, and they’re also mobile, so they can bring their presses and set up at your event!
