So impressed with this beautiful space, the friendly team that always welcomes me when I walk in the door, and most importantly, the professional and talented women who provide top-​notch services. I walked in there today having decided I wanted a pretty major change to my hair. Mandy listened to my pretty picky ‘wants’ (I still need to be able to pull it back; I still want it dark, but ‘change up the color a bit’; I don’t want my face to look any ’rounder’; and on and on) :). She listened patiently with a smile on her face before ever touching my hair. I enjoyed a cup of coffee and delightful conversation with the staff as Mandy diligently worked on cutting and coloring my hair. I have a lot of anxiety about getting my hair cut, but it has been reduced greatly by my experience at Harper & Olive. I walked out this afternoon with five inches cut off my hair, which she had also expertly dried and styled, and I never felt rushed out the door, but rather like I could have spent the rest of the afternoon there should I have chosen to do so. If you’re looking for a salon where the staff is friendly, attentive to your wishes, and where when you walk out you can’t wait to come back, then call Harper and Olive and make an appointment!

I purchased a voucher on Style Blueprint for a blowout. I booked an appointment for the morning of a day when I was going to a wedding looking forward to having my hair look a bit more voluminous and styled than I’m able to do at home. Sadly, I can do much better on my own. I left the salon in a state of disbelief and got in my car in tears. The way she styled it looked like I had a mullet (which I assure you, I do not) and was NOTHING like what I asked her to do, which was ‘feathered back in an almost 70’s style’. Instead she made the ends wavy and messy, put so much product in it that it will take me an hour to wash out and made my bangs square and flat. With less than 2 hours to go before departing for the wedding, I had to run home, wash my hair and style it myself. Waste of money.

I have never had to leave a negative review anywhere, but definitely have to after my last (and only) 2 visits at Harper and Olive. I purchased a full set of lashes off Groupon, and after everything I had read, I was fully prepared for the full set to take a minimum of an hour and a half to 2 hours to complete. I was checked in and back in my car in less than 40 minutes with my «full set.» Every single lash had fallen off within a little over 1 week (everything else I had read said they should last 3 – 4 weeks) and my lash artist told me they were ‘out of the strong glue’ as it was on back order. I called to see if they’d fix it, and they agreed to. So, I again ventured back. I told the same lash artist I wanted them to be dramatic this time, since before they were sparse and fell out so quickly. She said «I mean, that is going to take a while.» Dripping with attitude, yet it was her fault they were crummy to begin with. I was out, again, in 45 minutes and was charged for a fill, even though my lashes had hardly withstood one measly week. After a week and a half with my new lashes, I noticed they were almost completely gone, again, and this time what was left was in clumps. I then decided to go to a more reputable salon in town for a fill. The owner had to come intervene and said she had never seen a more botched job in her decade of being in the lash industry, and they couldn’t even fix my lashes. She ended up removing what was left and said my regular lashes were so damaged due to the horrible job that was done before hand (which is why I was in and out so quickly) that I needed to wait at least a month for new lashes to give my natural ones time to «heal.» NOTE: I have left a message for the owner but have yet to receive a call back.

Great place! Chelsea is amazing! I first met her when a previous person was doing my eyelashes and created a disaster! Poor Chelsea had to unglue the surgical adhesive the other person I was going to used, and then created a masterpiece for my eyelashes.
As I kept going to her I was able to see the beautiful work she does with hair… And then I saw the Klix hair extensions… And knew I needed them. We did a consultation, got the hair, she applied, and then I magically became a mermaid! I adore my hair, my lashes and she changed my life! I’ve never been happier! I see her once a week, please don’t take my appointment time! Fantastic place!

This team is amazing. The salon is beautiful and my experience is always relaxing and exceptional. You immediately feel welcomed and the stylists are focused on listening to what you want and ensuring you leave beyond satisfied. Highly recommend for anyone new to Nashville that wants to find a salon to make their «home».

Love my lashes! They are perfect, I would highly recommend this salon! They worked quickly, I was able to get in the same day I called. I got a introductory price for a full set. Refills are very reasonable priced. It’s hard to find a lash tech. That will make them thick enough and not have any stuck together. They are a full service salon, they are really fast and do lashes often, they had 3 people getting lashes just while I was there. Extremely friendly, made me feel comfortable.

I love this salon! The décor is so cute and there is always some good music playing, not to mention my go-​to stylist Chelsea is amazing! She has done everything from up-​dos to ombré and I am always so impressed. Can’t wait to go back for my next appointment to see what she comes up with next!

I came here for my bridal makeup and hair for me and my maids. My makeup was so beautiful that I almost cried when I saw it, likewise my hair (which is just barely long enough for a pony-​tail) looked impeccable. I don’t know how she did it (a million hairpins?) but it looked like an updo you might find on someone with hair twice as long. All in all an amazing experience and a day I will never forget.

Called on the spur of the moment and sweet Amanda said she could fit me in for eyelash extensions. She did a great job getting the catapillers off my eyelashes. The only issue I have is I wish they were a little thicker and more curl. Not her fault, mine [lash newbie]. Amanda has created a lash addict. Can’t wait for my touch up. Amanda is as talented as she is beautiful. GO SEE HER.
