Five Points Frame Gallery offers preppy, cutsy, and quirky gifts at high prices. You’ll find a lot of pastel plaid and stripes, monogrammed travel mugs, baby shower gifts, and seasonal decorations here. In my opinion, the most interesting items in the store were the woven plastic messenger bags and the jewelry: unpolished gemstone bracelets, typewriter key necklaces, and tiny vintage picture charms in little silver frames. Like I said, the prices are hard to swallow (for example, the smallest vintage charms cost about $ 16), especially since most of the gifts seemed kind of boring and not very useful.
Five Points Frame Gallery is a pretty small store, and the awkward shape of it isn’t very inviting. But if you know someone who’s having a baby or is into monograms, this would be the place to find a gift for them.
