History

Established in 2008.

Mr. Hagy began his legal career with King & Spalding, LLP, Atlanta’s largest law firm. In 1998, Mr. Hagy joined Doffermyre, Shields, Canfield & Knowles, LLC, a prominent litigation boutique in Atlanta representing individuals and businesses injured by the wrongful conduct of others. Mr. Hagy became a member of the firm in 2006.

Mr. Hagy maintains an AV rating, the highest possible rating under the Martindale-​Hubbell peer review rating system. Lawyer ratings are based on confidential evaluations by other lawyers and judges. The ratings include over one million lawyers, and only about 15% have achieved an «AV» rating, which signifies the height of professional excellence.

In 2008, Mr. Hagy moved his law practice from Atlanta to Nashville when he relocated to Tennessee with his wife, Suzanne Hagy, a Nashville native. They live in the Belmont-​Hillsboro neighborhood of Nashville with three children and their dog, Chief.

Mr. Hagy graduated in 1990 from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 1995, Mr. Hagy graduated, with honors, from Duke University School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia that year.
