We specialize in fertility issues. The national average for couples who experience fertility challenges while trying to conceive is 15%. Often the cause of Infertility is not a single factor, but rather a combination of problems in one or both partners.

The Center for Reproductive Health offers hope and assistance to allow partners to realize their dream of having a child. Our team of Reproductive Endocrinology Specialists operates in a state-​of-​the –art clinical setting complete with Cryogenic Lab and an accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center on site. Our team consists of nurses, sonographers, lab specialists and financial advisors all operating under Dr. Vasquez, Medical Director of the CRH. Our job is to pinpoint the indicators of Infertility and identify the appropriate therapy.

History

Established in 1995.

Dr. Jaime Vasquez founded the Center for Reproductive Health in 1995. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty board certified by its Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Vasquez completed a research fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Medical College of Georgia and did a subsequent obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Maryland. His fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility was at the C.S. Mott Center for Human Growth and Development at Wayne State University. Dr. Vasquez and his wife Nancy have lived in Nashville for the past 23 years and have two children.

I went here for two years (2012 – 2014), and received fantastic service from everyone. The doctor is very caring, but also very direct, which I appreciated considering the out of pocket costs fertility treatments incur. He was very honest with our first round of IVF, and suggested we move on to IVF with donor eggs, due to issues I presented the first time around.
The nurses are excellent. I worked primarily with Anita and Valerie, both are very caring, and always gave prompt call backs. I always got a call back before 4pm CST if I called before 1pm CST, unless it was an emergency (i.e. bleeding) then I was forwarded to nurse or the doctor right away.
I had no problems with Manny, like the other rater did. He always directed me to the right extensions, and was always super friendly when I called. He even helped me get some paperwork together for my job, to prove to them that I was in fact on travel restriction due to my treatments. I thought he was awesome :)
I also liked the after hours answering service. If you do get pregnant and have bleeding at ANY point in time during the first trimester, you can call and have the service connect your call to the doctor. I had to use it a few times during the weekend while the office was closed.

I’ve only just started going here, so not sure how quickly I’ll get pregnant. The doctor seems great and his nurse Valerie is fantastic! She went above and beyond expectation helping me in a situation. So far, I’m only giving two stars cause I hate dealing with Manny! He makes my communication with the office miserable. He is incredibly rude and always has an attitude. He seems to really hate his job. Honestly because of him alone, I have considered ditching this office before I get in too deep. I have also had problems getting calls back from other staff. On my first appointment the scheduler was on a phone call and wouldn’t end her call to wrap up our 2.5 hr visit. I left her several messages and finally got a call back after my husband called for me. I let her know I was irritated and although she wasn’t very apologetic (used the busy excuse), she did manage to turn things around. In the end my call went well with her and she was helpful. But that manny! Dear god, they need to fire that guy. Seriously! I plan on complaining in person, cause I really like the doctor and the clinical nurse. The problem is there doesn’t appear to be a central person to talk to. I don’t know who the office manager is and I know the doctor doesn’t want to be bothered with this. Kinda leaves me with that hopeless feeling.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vasquez for 6 years now. When I first called they worked me in within 2 weeks for testing. Dr. V tested for many different things and determined that we had both male and female factor infertility. He talked through the pros and cons of IUI and IVF with a strong recommendation for IVF since our insurance covered one cycle. We decided to go ahead with the fresh IVF cycle. We had several high-​quality embryos left to freeze and have had 3 babies as a result of 3 IVF cycles (2 of those 3 were frozen transfers). A few years ago I moved out of state and the office has been kind enough to set up a means for me to do my IVF monitoring close to home while only traveling for the necessary procedures. The entire staff is kind and personable, they all greet me by name even when it has been years between visits. I am currently undergoing my 4th (and final) cycle to use the remaining embryos and I feel positive and hopeful for another good result. If you want a small, personal office that cares for your individual needs instead of labeling you as a number, this is the place to go.
