Sweeney & Sweeney is a general practice law firm concentrating in Real Estate transactions, Wills, Trusts and Estate Plans, Business formations as well as a variety of other legal matters.

The firm was founded over 78 years ago by J. Leonard Sweeney, Sr. and today is owned and managed by his grandson J.L. Sweeney, III, who succeeded his father Jay Sweeney after Jay retired in 2005.

Sweeney & Sweeney is pleased to serve the needs of clients throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.

History

Established in 1934.

J. Leonard (Lenny) Sweeney started the firm in 1934 after graduating law school from Boston University. His son, Jay Sweeney, practiced with him and retired in 2005. Currently the firm is staffed by three attorneys, including Lenny’s grandson, J.L. Sweeney, who manages the firm.
