I bought a used vehicle for my daughter there, it was $ 5200.00. I insisted on at least a 90 day warranty, it was granted. Of course on the 100^th day,(My daughter started having problems, so I brought it back to him and it appeared he fixed them, and said he wouldnt charge for labor, but the parts were $ 600.00. I just bit the bullet and paid him. Two weeks later the engine went. I brought it back and I said I expected the car too last more than 3 months and he replied well she put on 2000 miles, and I was like okay, so she put on 2000 miles, I still expect a car to run after that! (If I would of paid $ 1000 bucks I wouldn’t have come back to you) I told him I wanted my money back or an equivalent vehicle. He said he couldn’t do that. He said he would go ½ on replacing with a rebuilt engine, I felt like I didnt, t have too much of a choice at this point, we were in too deep and she needed a car, so I agreed and paid $ 2000 more. The car ran great why wouldn’t it,(new parts, new engine), and $ 7800.00 in 3 ½ months. We were happy the nightmare was finally over! Then a week later she totaled the car! Sad but true (But that was not Steve Kings fault) So you be the judge (Yay or No Way)!

Not a good experience… Very disappointed with the less than honest approach. Three separate cases of poor workmanship and over exaggerated diagnosis.

Have been coming here for over 20 yrs. Owner is very honest and is original owner. Prices are avg but they do full service for all aspects of vehicle repair including motor replacement if needed. They will also not just patch a problem but do a complete repair if needed and use a new part

I’ve purchased tires there often through the years. I found them to me reasonable and fair. Free tire rotation for life of tires but they charge $ 15 or so for valve stems. Hummmm

Awesome place — myself, my hubby and our daughter all take our cars here. They have always been very honest with us, offering options if we need anything fixed, they give us a good idea of how long we can run it as is. I’ve often heard Steve quote tire prices to customers, making sure to mention the less expensive options. I’ve been to a number of shops who are quick to take advantage — this is not one of them.

Same thing just happened to my boyfriend. He treats his car like gold. He walked out of there with a failed inspection estimated $ 500. I told him not to bring his car back there and we would go to a more reputable place. Can’t stand rip-​offs.

These guys are crooks, pure and simple. I brought my vehicle here for an inspection because they had a sign outside advertising $ 25 State inspections. I sat in the waiting area while the inspection was done and was told that I had a power steering leak that caused my vehicle to fail inspection. I told them I hadn’t seen any fluid in my driveway and asked how bad the leak was. They told me it was a pretty good sized leak and I needed to replace the high pressure line (of course they suggested to do all of them).
Being a somewhat mechanically inclined, I politely declined and drove home intending to replace the line myself that weekend. Next morning I checked under the vehicle on my way to work in my other car. There was a small puddle of fluid after all. That next weekend I picked up the hose at a local parts store and when I got under the vehicle I immediately noticed the fluid was leaking from the bolt where the line screws into the rack and pinion. I checked it with my wrench, the bolt WAS LOOSE! I tightened it, added a little fluid, and voila! no leak!
Perhaps because I was coming from work when I stopped in for my inspection and was in a suit they assumed I didn’t know anything about cars? I don’t know, but I’m 100% positive these guys loosened my pressure line during the inspection. Even if my cynicism is a little misplaced, at the very least they’re incompetent and can’t tell a legitimate leak from a loose bolt. Either way, stay far away from these jokers.
