I trust Rod and his staff with everything related to our cars. I won’t buy a used car without having them check it out, and I won’t go anywhere else for service.
They always let me know what needs to be done now, what’s a good idea to do soon, and what I should consider doing before it gets worse. This is a welcome change from the «$ 1000-​every-​time-​you-​come-​in-​and everything’s-critical» message you get from dealerships.

Met Rod a few years ago. Great, honest guy. Steve the Mechanic will fix anything you put in front of him. Very fast when it comes to repairs. Great in prices as well. As Long as Rods Automive is around, I don’t have to look for another mechanic anytime soon. Keep up the great work gentlemen!

The address is technically 16 Raiload Square but the garage faces Canal Street so you can’t miss it.
I am not originally from the area and searched for quite some time to find a good, honest mechanic. I found Rod’s Automotive years ago and have never looked back. The prices are very reasonable, the people are friendly and, most importantly, honest. I have never left there feeling like I have been upsold in any way.
The parking lot at the garage is a little daunting but there is a key drop and Rod or his crew will move your car from the neighboring Orange Street as soon as possible should you park there.
Great prices, great people, excellent service. This place is a gem.
