Peters Honda of Nashua

Ok like I told you before having problems with starting it I don’t know why, also Peggy found out when they replace the battery last year they said that they would Put in a bigger one, well this is the biggest battery there’s no such thing as a bigger battery. This is the the only size battery from what I’m told.
Just wanted to let you know it has started again this year I learned a lot this morning how it’s taken the battery a longer time to recharge it’s self make me wonder.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR SERVICE! You are better off going anywhere else — Peters Honda of Nashua is inept, rude and dishonest.
I brought my 2003 Honda Accord into Peters Honda in October, because I kept getting phonecalls about an airbag recall, and so I wanted to get it done. When they looked up my VIN number that said that I also had an ignition switch recall, and I decided to get that done too, even though I had had no previous problems with the ignition switch.
When I picked up my car the next day, I noticed it was starting differently, but I figured it was just the new switch. I assumed that since Peters Honda is a Honda dealership, they knew Honda cars, and that they would have checked that the work was done correctly before sending me home with my car… Big mistake. Over the next two months, my car had more and more trouble starting, to the point where I was afraid to take it places.
In December, I had no choice but to bring it back in. I explained that my car had been having trouble starting since the recall was done. They told me it was unlikely to be related to the recall work that was done, but that they would take a look. I left my car there, and soon got a phone call telling me that the starter relay needed replacing. I asked if it had anything to do with the ignition switch work that was done a few months earlier, and they said no. I paid for a new starter relay. When I went to pick up my car, there was «valet» service, so they brought the car around for me, and I did not try to start it there (again, trusting that Peters Honda is a Honda dealership, and knows Honda cars)… Again, big mistake. When I went to start my car the next day, I found out they they had DISCONNECTED my automatic starter (which I paid a few hundred dollars for), AND the car was STILL having difficulty starting!
I called Honda back and explained what had happened. They talked to the tech who did the work, and he said he did not touch the automatic starter, which is a lie because I used it to start the car the morning I brought it in, and I had never had problems with it before, but since the work with the starter relay has been done, it has not worked. I asked why my car was still having trouble starting, and the person I talked to on the phone said, «It’s an older car, so you might have to try a few times.» I was pretty furious, but once again assumed that since Peters Honda is a Honda dealership, they must know Honda cars.
Last week, my car was still having trouble starting, and it was to the point that I did not feel safe using it as transportation to work. I brought it in a third time, and explained that whatever they had done with the starter relay had not worked and that they had disconnected my automatic starter in the process, and asked them to please take a look at the work they had done. I got a voicemail later that day from Lisa, who told me my problems were not with the starter relay, but actually with the ignition switch, and to call her back for a quote.
I called her back and explained that THIS ALL STARTED WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH, and I was not going to pay for a new one. She said she had to check to see if there was «still a warranty on the ignition switch.» Furious, I explained that the ignition switch had been faulty all along, and I also asked for a refund on the starter relay they needlessly made me purchase. She said that she had to speak with her manager, and would get back to me the next day. I asked her if they had fixed the automatic starter that they had disconnected on my last visit. She told me she didn’t know anything about automatic starters, so she did not know how to check. When I tried to explain to her how to check (hold the button down for 5 seconds), she cut me off, and said she «did not want to touch anything that she didn’t understand.» It is dishonest to say they did not disconnect it, and absurdly rude to play dumb when they see thousands of cars a year with them. Lisa said to talk to someone when I got there and have them try to start it using the automatic starter.
I picked up my car last Thursday, and found the automatic starter still did not work (of course). I talked to a service rep, who told me there was nothing he could do about it, but he would take down my number and call me back on Friday morning when he had more information. I received no phone call.
My car is finally starting as well as it did before I brought it in last October, but now I have no automatic starter to warm up my car this winter, I had to manage without a car for all 3 needless visits to Peters Honda, dealt with 3 months of starter issues. I also had to needlessly pay for a starter relay — which they refused to refund me for, but said I can take the price of it off my next trip to Peters Honda. However, that is pretty useless to me, as I don’t think I can trust them with so much as an oil change.

Awful service. Everyone there is the typical lying car salesman. Went there to return my Kia and they were awful to deal with because I wasn’t giving them my business.

My wife just bought her 2016 HRV from Peters even though we now live out of state. Why? After buying her first Honda there in ’06 we swore we’d never buy from anyone else and they’ve only gotten better with each of the 5 Hondas we’ve since purchased there.
Salespeople always display a ‘customer is king/​queen’ attitude, provide information without pressure, management doesn’t play car dealer ‘games’ and buying is a pleasure, not a chore.
We’ll make the trip back to Peters for our next Honda even though we’re only 10 miles from our local dealer!

My family and I have a two decade purchase history with Honda, totaling 13 vehicles. I recently bought a brand new car here a few months ago. I thought the sales was a positive experience (at the time), but soon learned I was mislead on certain items discussed during the process. The car salesman indicated (on several occasions!) that myself and my mother would each receive a referral if we purchased a vehicle. Three of us were there and heard the same thing, repeatedly. After following up three months later, with no referral fee, I was told that this is not the case only one person would get a referral. Okay, that’s fine if that’s the policy, but why say something different to us during the sales that is not true.
Next issue, when buying the car, the salesperson indicated that this model of car came standard with wheel locks. (We even had checked off this item on the accessory sheet, but he CROSSED it off for us.) Interestingly enough, the wheel locks were never installed on the car. Why? Because wheel locks do not come standard with the car! My wheels were stolen a month later… It was acknowledged by that same salesperson that we had that conversation about installing wheel locks, but blamed service for not installing them. I spoke with the manager and he said that they were not installed because we did not purchase them as an accessory. Really?! We WANTED the wheel locks and WOULD HAVE purchased them if we weren’t told the wrong information. When trying to resolve this issue, I was ignored on many occasions as I had to call several times before I got any response back from the sales person. I also emailed. When I called AGAIN and did speak to the salesman about this issue, he had the audacity to ask me what the purpose of my phone call was and what I wanted out of it. Are you kidding me? They have offered to install the wheel locks on the vehicle, but it’s a little too late, as I have taken care of this on my own and want nothing else to do with the dealership. (I am out a good chunk of change now as I had to pay for my insurance deductible for the wheels.)
It’s interesting after the sales was completed, they seem to want nothing to do with you when something goes wrong on their part. I will not do business here again. Lesson of the story… GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Do not take their ‘word’ because it means nothing.

I have not bought a car here so I am unable to comment on the business as a whole, however I am leaving a negative review. Even after letting them know they have the wrong number, they have called me every day for the last two weeks looking for someone else. It is extremely annoying and unprofessional.

I purchased my car from Peters Honda in August and cannot say enough good things about the sales department but the service department could use some lessons on customer service and how to promptly respond to customer emails. Saturday I was there for the second time for the same problem which is still not resolved and have decided to take it to another dealership. The owner is concerned with initial complaints but when you email the service manager he claims his response went to spam, which it did not. Great place to make a purchase but a terrible service dept.

The after service is horrible. We called because we needed some information on a car we bought 2 years ago and the sales person we spoke to was not helpful at all and made me feel like an idiot. He kept telling us there’s nothing he can do for us and left it at that. No attempt to do anything but tell us no.
Overall, horrible experience with customer service. Never recommending this place to anyone.

A few months ago my dad and I were looking for a car for my brother, and decided that a Honda would be a wise choice. We went to Peter’s website and found a few cars in stock that looked as if they would be appropriate and within a reasonable price range. Upon arrival at Peter’s exit 6 location, we looked around the lot and found that nothing matched the cars that were listed on their website. A sales representative waddled out, and in response to our inquiry as to the cars listed on the website, barked at us something nonsensical along the lines of «well that’s what’s on the website, we don’t have those here» as his Blutooth earpiece glistened in the sunlight. Upon asking to see the used directory, he brought us to an accord or a civic and told us that this was the car we wanted. In response to our inquiry as to the extensive cosmetic damage present throughout the exterior of the car, he bellowed something along the lines of «what do you expect, it’s a used car». He then waddled back inside, grumbling something about checking the inventory for us. Following 15 minutes, and no signs of life, we gave up.
Fortunately, the day ended well. We drove down to the south end and bought ourselves a car from Allen Mello that same day. We really did our best to give Peter’s our business, and we really wanted a Honda, but they clearly did not want to sell us a car.

My wife and I had a wonderful sales experience at Perter Honda in Nashua. Our salesman, Ethan, was pleasant, warm, and informative about the vehicle we were looking to purchase. He answered every question we had and make us feel comfortable with no sales pressure at all throughout the process. We had an extensive test-​drive with Ethan and his knowledge of the vehicle (even though it was a BMW that was not sold new from Peter’s) was amazing. The finance person was also great securing us a lower rate than even my credit union. My wife and I love our car and the treatment at Peter’s from sales to financing has created a pair of return customers and great referrals for years to come. Do not change a thing because this is exactly how car buying should be.

We have had two vehicle transactions here in the past 4 years. One used car purchase and recently one lease. Both transactions went smoothly. As car buying goes these guys are pretty good. Would do business again.

This dealership is run by staff who are honest, polite, and knowledgable. Mindy, Carlos, John, and Matt were of great help. The entire staff at this dealership did everything possible to ensure a smooth transaction. They ensured that I had everything I needed to be happy with my new vehicle.

I went to Peter’s Honda in hopes of getting a car that would be reliable and affordable. I found all that and more. Steve and the Manager Rick were honest and incredibly helpful. There was absolutely none of the pressure that you’d expect to come from a car dealership. I told them what I was looking for and they supplied it flawlessly. Financing was a breeze with Jeff. Everyone there is very light-​hearted and easy to talk to, I would recommend Peters Honda to anyone. I ended up with a car more magnificent than I could’ve ever imagined, I’m sure you will too!

I will give peters props, they did call and try to make things right… granted we didn’t get a car from them, in the end I would give peters another shot. Carlos who we worked with was very low pressure and seemed interested in helping us… which is more than what happened the first time

My wife and I spent the last 4 days visiting dealerships throughout the Nashua & Manchester area. By a wide margin Peter’s Honda was the best, the salesman was supportive but not pushy!!! Ron was informative and never made us feel pressured when we went for test drive he simply asked if we were familiar with the area tossed us the key and said have fun. Throughout the purchase process the effort from beginning to end was guidance on what was best for us not them! I would never hesitate to recommend Peter’s they have my business!

I bought my first car from Peters Honda yesterday (a Honda CR-​V)! I had a great experience from start to finish and would definitely recommend reaching out to these guys during your car search. I had reached out to several Honda dealers in VT, NH and MA looking for someone to work with who was price competitive and also easy to work with (wasn’t pushing financing aggressively, providing price quotes with a lot of «special offers» embedded that I bet I wouldn’t have qualified for once I arrived, pressure sales tactics, calling me every 5 minutes, etc.). Annalie spoke with me over the phone and by email and we agreed on a price for a specific car (over a couple of phone calls, total time 10 minutes or less, no joke!), and then Diana met with me the next day at the dealership to pick up the car. We were out of there in 90 minutes with the car, no hassles. Everyone was really nice while we were there. In fact, as Matt walked us through the paperwork and extended warranty options, Diana even went out to the car to customize it for us and to top off the gas tank because she noticed we used a little bit for our test drive! Added benefits beyond the great price included a lifetime powertrain warranty, free initial state inspection and free first oil change. Definitely go check them out, I did not know buying a car could actually be this stress free, thanks Peters Honda!

Stellar Service by Ron Stella! I have purchased many vehicles over the years from this dealership and if you live in the Nashua area, you must have either purchased a car from them or know someone who has. They have been in business for many years and have a great reputation for quality and good old fashioned business ethics! They have worked hard for my business over and over again and they really appreciate me as a customer. The Honda product speaks for itself but its the service from the sales team that really makes this a 5 Star Dealership! Thank You Ron for making every purchase a painless experience and I Love my 2013 Honda Civic! Really Great Work Ron!

Just to follow up on my review, proving they don’t care about customer service, over a week and no one has called me. All they know how to do is mess everything up, be completely disorganized, and apologize!

i went in to test drive a fit today. i would not give my phone number so the salesman walked away leaving me sitting there. i dont play games with these guys. if im dealing with a salesman, im in control, its my terms. go somewhere else!
