Worst haircut ever. didnt do what I asked. rushed through it even when there was no one else waiting. just poor service.

I recently stopped in here for a desperately needed haircut. I was a bit hesitant because of some reviews and considering the price, but I was only looking for a very simply trim before I could get in to my usual hairdresser and it came out great! I am not sure what people expect for a $ 14 haircut. I obviously wouldn’t go here for a luxurious experience, but if its just a basic cut that you’re looking for — I don’t think you can go wrong. The service I received easily matched the price that I paid. I was quite happy and the staff were friendly and polite.

HORRIBLE!!! This place is awful. They treat you like garbage. I have never been treated with such an attitude by someone like this. This place should be ashamed of how they treat there customers. To be treated with such rudeness I don’t need to come back here no matter how low the price. No one deserves to be insulted when they are asking a question and further bullied as they walk out the door. Unilocal is the best place I could think of to share with others this companies poor attitude and treatment of customers. Let me start by saying I always tip $ 5 to the staff here and have gone to this place quite a number of time since it opened a couple years ago. On a Friday morning I had a coupon for a haircut for a great price $ 6.99. This was the last day I could use the coupon which they mailed me. When I went inside a manager who was cutting hair said hello. Before I could even ask how long the wait would be she says right away there are 5 people ahead of me and a woman had a coloring appointment as well. To that I thought ok this is a long wait. But she said it as though there was an issue and almost like yeah you should come back another time. Kind of like any I hate my job and really don’t care about what I am saying attitude. I asked nicely what do you think the wait will be and this manager tall brunette said with an attitude she did not know and it was going to be well over an hour. Usually on WEEKDAY’s it’s 10 – 40 minute waits at these places which I think is reasonable. Over an hour is a bit much and maybe another time. So naturally since it was a very long wait and I had a coupon for $ 6.99 haircut I thought well maybe i should ask if I could have my coupon date changed to add a day or whatever since it was the last day it was valid. So I did and she refused without giving it a second thought as she was cutting a customers hair. I said nicely I understood that they were busy, but all I wanted was to come back and use the coupon the next day. Would that be ok? She said no way. I was disappointed she could not make an exception, but it probably is policy, but that is not the worst part. The worst part was when leaving she insisted on a few last sarcastic words. She was very rude and condescending. Kind of like kicking a dog while it’s down. Obviously I was not getting to use the coupon and she saw to that, obviously I would have to come back another time and she suggested 9pm at 11 am very rude. The Manager went on Saying Thank you for coming… sarcastically. So I said sympathetically and calmly I understand that other people are here and you don’t it’s a long wait, but giving her one last opportunity to make things right even though she was being rude that i just wanted to come back and use the coupon another day and she then threw in my face that it was a Holiday weekend and I should have planned things better. I stated again it was fine that they could not get me in a reasonable time period not cut my hair today that I just wanted to use the coupon and she sarcastically said have a nice day. Also to note it was busy and a Holiday weekend was coming, to which I say yes no problem I can come back just let me have the discount on another day since you are pretty much telling me to come back another time. And also since they have 8 hair cut stations if like the manager stated to me insultingly that I should know it was a Holiday weekend, then why did they only have 4 stations going out of 8 for people cutting hair. i mean that way they could have avoided long waits.
