Awesome! I usually get the Italian Wedding Soup and I love it! The Friday special is pretty amazing too! I think it is called Nantucket Chowder.

Great People Amazing soup creations– Soup porn The bread(plain or cheese) is a must have with the soup. I usually get two, because I cannot make up my mind on just one. They have some meals you can purchase too— great for the person that just doesn’t feel like cooking that night. No where to sit, so it will have to be to go– it’s a short drive for me, and it’s still hot when I get home.

Best soup in town. Also great comfort meals… shepherd’s pie, meatloaf, pot pies, etc. Their seafood and fish chowders and garlic bread are to die for. Only open Weds(fish chowder day) — Saturday. Closed for the summer. Full swing now. Go. Take cash… that’s all they take. Take out only.

Excellent homemade Soups and dishes. Takeout & Cash only business. $ 11 per quart $ 6 per pint for most soups, a little pricey but excellent quality.

A little hole in the wall that you would pass right by if you didn’t know any better. I’m kind of shocked none of the other reviews mentioned that this is CARRYOUT only. I walked in expecting a table(I admit I didn’t read all the reviews) and was met by a line. It was small, so not a big deal. I kept looking for a menu for something other than chowder or soup as many reviews talked about the lobster rolls. When I asked, apparently they won’t have lobster rolls until the spring(is that when fresh lobster is in season?). Fine. I’d rather not have canned lobster if a place is committing to only serve fresh, in season food. So I got a pint of clam chowder: thick, creamy, chunks of tender clams, perfectly cooked potato pieces… Probably the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. I also picked up a shepherds pie. They have a cooler with pot pies, pot roast dinners, shepherds pie, etc. My shepherds pie seemed homemade and fresh Friendly staff; quick and efficient service. Just don’t expect a table.

Had the clam, hubs had seafood that sold out shortly after. Have to say it was excellent. I was raised on chowder and I am picky so the tender clams lack of sand and nice thick broth with pepper and potatoes that were done but not over done was quite a hit. Yum.

What a great place! I’m not sure what was better, the soup or the nice man that took our order. Definitely recommended. A bit out of the way and no tables but you’ll be happy you made the trip.

After reading the reviews, we had to try this place right after we arrived in Nashua because they were closed the rest of the weekend. We ordered the Lobster Roll with Clam Chowder, and Seafood Nantucket. The Lobster Roll Combo was ONLY $ 12!!! I felt like we were robbing them! The lobster roll was GREAT! It’s better than the Pearl Oyster Bar in NYC. The lobster was seasoned just right and was really soft and not overcooked. We liked the clam chowder a lot but LOVED the Seafood Nantucket. There were big chunks of fish. We were bummed that there was no seating in that place and we ended up eating in the car. Nevertheless, we were happy that we got a chance to try it! Will definitely return when in the area! Service was very friendly!

The clam chowder is so dang good. I don’t recall having a better chowder… rivals those found at the seafood shacks at Perkins Cove but creamier, thicker, less filler. This is a thick, creamy, chock-full of clams. Some others put in way too many taters, not this one. Yummy!

Can’t say enough about this place! Only thing that could be better is open more hours, but I know they supply local restaurants and spend a couple days doing that and everyone needs time off too Wish they were open year round I have withdrawls in the summer :)

Some of the best clam chowder I’ve had in New England. Loaded with clams and a thick, rich base. We also ordered their Texas chili and it was outstanding. The chili was sweet and spicy at the same time, but more spicy than sweet. If you like spicy chili with great flavor, you won’t be disappointed.

Best seafood chowder I have had in my life. Beautiful, creamy, flavorful richness rife with chunks of fish, scallops, clams and marvelous ocean bounty. Holy god. They’re take-out only. As the name implies, the chowders and soups take center stage, but they offer a variety of other comfort foods as well, like meatloaf and shepherd’s pie. The people are delightful — some of the friendliest I’ve ever met. Service is fast, but they don’t make you feel rushed. Not sure what to try? Ask for a sample of any of the soups or chowders.(Not that it’ll help, because they’re all fantastic…)

I have a mistress, and her name is Collins Brothers Chowder. For at least a year I’ve been seeing these flyers at work listing weekly soup and takeout specials from Collins Brothers. People at work rave about this soup, but I shrugged it off and thought, «How good could a soup be?» If you’ve ever thought this, you clearly have never been to Collins Brothers. The shop is not much to look at and doesn’t have a seating area. But these soups! My husband had the Broccoli Cheddar and I had the Italian Wedding Soup. The small size was absolutely a perfect size for me. My soup was perfectly seasoned, with the right balance of pepper. The meatballs were a great size and the flavor was good. I had a taste of my husband’s Broccoli Cheddar, and let me tell you that I’ve never had a Broccoli Cheddar soup before and I’m afraid this soup has ruined me for all others. As it is I am contemplating a trip tomorrow to get lunch. I live in Merrimack, but it’s totally worth the drive. Cannot recommend them enough!

I like the soup! The Hungarian Mushroom is a favorite of mine. I do not think it is a great value. 6 Dollars for a bowl of take out soup is just to much. If you want a piece of bread with your soup, make it seven dollars! If they offer any kind of seafood Soup it is $ 7.00, want Bread make it $ 8.00 I can be served a great bowl of soup on a linen tablecloth with a glass of lemon water and a basket of bread at any of the fine Main St Bistros in Nashua for that kind of money. The last time I went there the owner was being very rude to another patron. Good Soup –Bad Deal

I have never had a soup here that I didn’t like. Daniel, the owner who works the register is always very friendly and engages with his customers. Pros: delicious soups, various sizes, other take home food options, always parking available out front, friendly service, good value. Cons: needs more locations(maybe one in Manchester?), no seating inside or outside

Best. Soup. Ever. It’s a few blocks from the Nashua Public Library, heading away from Main Street. It’s a small storefront on the right. Sortof like the infamous«soup nazi» episode on Seinfeld. You order the soup and take it home, since there are no tables. Note also that the hours are limited and are listed on the website. My current faves are Hungarian Mushroom, Corn and Bacon Chowder and any of the«fish» chowder specials. They also have heat-and-serve meals like meatloaf and shepherd’s pie. I also liked the chili, although *technically* «Texas Style» shouldn’t have beans and theirs does.
