Most amazing toy/​book store ever! The staff here are very knowledgable and made great recommendations for my needs. I didn’t know much about children’s toys, and they were helpful in educating me about what different products do. As others have mentioned, they carefully hand pick only high-​quality toys and lots of imported products from Germany and other parts of Europe. The stuff here isn’t cheap, but I checked online after my purchase and found prices to be the same or even cheaper in store. Highly recommend!

This is a great neighborhood toy store, with a wide selection of learning toys and children’s books. You will not find «Disney like» options or cheap toys here, but high quality unique toys that as the name suggests «develop character.» It is also not the cheapest option but the convenience, knowledge of the staff and friendly service make it worth it.

Oh, how we miss this place! A great little toy store with all sorts of wonderful, smart finds for the kids. Books, education toys, science toys, smart toys. Wonderful, helpful staff. Great selection of dress-​up clothes and puppets.

What a great toy store. What a great kids book store. I feel incredibly creative as soon as I walk in. There is a tree in the middle with various stuffed animals. My son and I discuss each one every time we go in. The dressup clothing makes me want to squeeze my 38 year old tuss into the princess dresses. There are games and wooden cars and building sets and dolls and puzzles and books and books and books. The staff is friendly, not pushy. Helpful, not pushy. Smiling, chatty when appropiate. My only complaint– it’s expensive. My guess? In today’s world, to survive and be unique, one must be more expenive than Target. So I get that. I just wish I had more money to shop there. At least I can come in and play with the store samples– i mean my kids can play with the store samples.
