There is nothing better than coming up with the perfect little treasure to add to your collection. Shop in the middle of the night, when you have a day off, when you don’t want to fight traffic, when you are sick and tired, when you need a gift. Shop M. Kat’s when you just need more STUFF! M. Kat’s Antiques & Curiosities was opened September of 2009, as my last of 4 children went off to college. I grew up in northwest Ohio to grandparents and parents who were «antiquers» or dealers. Everything that surrounded me, as a child, was old or from an ancestor. I learned early to «not touch» and to respect all the things. As I grew older I began to collect too.

History

Established in 2009.

M. Kat’s Antiques & Curiosities was opened September of 2009, as my last of 4 children went off to college. I grew up in northwest Ohio to grandparents and parents who were «antiquers» or dealers. My shop looks like the inside of my grandmother’s house. One Easter Sunday, my Grandfather sold the table we were having dinner at to customers from his antique shop. And so the story goes. A continuation of selling STUFF. And boy, do I have stuff. My house is full and now I buy old stuff, new stuff, local artist stuff, whimsical, weird, fun and functional stuff for you to enjoy also.
