Waterside Shops

This review is about Anne Taylor in Waterside, not the Waterwide Shops which I love.
I have never seen such disrespectful or inept sales women as in the Anne Taylor shop at Waterrside. I walked into the store on a Sunday afternoon. The store was completely empty yet none of the 3 sales women even said «hello» or «may I help you.» They were too busy talking loudly about their date on the previous evening. I wandered around the store, picked out an item and went to pay for my item. One of the three sales women finally acknowledged me and said, «it’s been a slow day.» Really, what kind of an excuse that lack for a total lack of customer service and respect? the other 2 sales women kept talking in a loud voice about the «date». Anne Taylor needs better management or training of their sales force or they will continue to be the «poor sister» to the other fantastic shoes at Waterside, I will not go to this Anne Taylor again.

This is an upscale outdoor shopping area with a Nordstrom, Saks 5^th Avenue, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Burberry, L’Occitane, Omega, Tiffany & Co, Swarovski, and many other high-​end shops.
The feel of the mall is great and clean and fresh and is a delight to walk through it. The is a large Barnes and Noble detached in the same parking lot, so if you are shopping he can browse and read at Barnes&Noble (you’ll thank me later for this tip, LOL).
If you visit Naples, be sure to visit three shopping areas: Waterside Shops, The Mercato, and 5^th Avenue SOUTH in the heart of Naples (I capitalized South because oddly enough the Avenues in Naples are North and South of Central Avenue with same numbers, so there is a 5^th Ave N and an 5^th Ave S. Enjoy the sun and the shopping.

I used to be a New Yorker, so it was especially enjoyable to come here in the winter and walk around this beautiful open air mall.
I now live in California, but when I go to Naples to visit I like coming here to window shop. The mall is so peaceful and beautiful.
The shops are high end, so I mostly do window shopping, but I have purchased a few items here in the past and the customer service experience was always positive. There are many great luxury and generally upscale shops here.
We mainly came here to eat at the California Pizza Kitchen (which was delicious), but I had to take a stroll around afterwards and see how the other 1% shops.

Waterside shops will forever go down as one of my all-​time favorite places to shop. Not only is the selection of upscale shops excellent (Kate Spade, Tory Burch, Lululemon, Nordstrom, J. Crew, Lacoste, Tiffany and Co, etc) the setting itself is stunning. Beautiful fountains and water features, palm trees strung with lights at night, and an overall beautiful layout. Easily the best mall I have ever been to.

I took the day off at work today so me and my sister decided to drive all the way up to Naples and spend the whole day at the beach we had fun then around 2:30 PM we
left the beach and decided to go shopping we went to waterside shops not to far from the hotel and I gotta say that this mall is absolutely gorgeous and luxurious they have all the high end stores I like like Tory burch
Pottery Barn, L’occitane, Swarovski, Talbots
, Louis Vuitton, Anne Fontaine and much more I love the customer service at Nordstrom very friendly and love that they have a Brio at the mall I will come back to this place when I go back to Naples

This outdoor mall is gorgeous, it’s classy, sophisticated and every detail is taken care of. All of the shops are perfect and most of them pricey but even just to walk around its just so nice! My only complaint is they need more restaurants. I live CPK, Brio, & Bricktop but they need like 1 – 2 more!!! Gimme more please also a spa would be nice… Lol it’s that fancy it should have one!

Yes, this is very high end shopping center when you’ve got Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom as your department stores. But it made for great window shopping. From Kate Spade to Coach and Gucci to Lacoste, this place has it all for designer shops. Thankfully there was a Gap and Banana Republic; otherwise I wouldn’t have bought anything! They do have a cute baby clothes shop, but nothing compared to outlet prices. It’s also very beautiful with all the water in the middle, which if you throw your coins in… all goes to charity.

Very nice upscale outdoor shopping. Parking near restaurants can be tricky, but there is valet for your convenience. A nice change from typical local mall settings. They usually have something going on for entertainment, great restaurants, the best stores.

One of my favorite places in Naples. It is a great place to shop. My husband and I come at least 3 or 4 times a week just to walk around. The mall sides are open to the outside but most of it has a ceiling with ceiling fans providing a cool walk. The water fountains are beautiful. Music is nice. And the Christmas decorations are my favorite in Naples. A walk around the mall is not complete without a stop at Haggen Dazs.

There’s something very special about Waterside Shops around this time of year: The warm glow of the tastefully clad lights, the Christmas music that puts a pep in your step in that rare window of December when your idyllic thoughts of everything Christmas are still not jaded by the scrooges of consumerism…
With a certain financial stigma of Waterside Shops, this is the time of year when the visual and smell sensors go into wackadoodle mode and you buy, buy, buy. Oh sure, you just spent a few thousand dollars in one place like Burberry, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, or Louis Vuitton, but you know you did it because Waterside Shops had the most beautifully enticing storefronts that just invite you in like it’s your house.
I’m prefacing my review in this fashion because there’s a certain innate enjoyment of Waterside Shops in its aesthetics, even if you are not one to buy anything Ferragamo or Cartier. The walkways are not the most functional, so if you go into Shopzilla mode, it may take a little time to cover more ground. Everything is on the bias, and there may be a beautiful fountain, or an Anthropologie that may detract you from the gauntlet of spending. There’s a certain quaintness and unassuming quality that makes shopping a beautiful experience for all. So, grab yourself a chestnut praline latte at Starbucks, sit at a table under an umbrella, and valet your car because parking’s at a premium or people are the worst parkers in the whole world. Still 5 stars people. It’s the most wonderful time of the year. (heh — made you sing)
Sidenote: At this time, they have «Sip and Shop» Sundays where they have a Bloody Mary Bar set up in the Pavillion. Great way to start some shopping!

The best outdoor mall anywhere! Even if you are just window shopping… It’s fun, and beautiful and there are so many pretty water fountains and art pieces.
All of the stores are great.

My daughter wanted to upgrade her phone. She found Nate, one of the genius’ at Apple and he was great with my 11 year old. She quickly traded in her 4 for a 5s. Nate made a very complicated process easy and fun. I was impressed by the service we got from Nate.

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful outdoor malls that I have ever seen.
It also probably houses the most expensive array of shops in one location that I have ever seen, too.
These are all high-​end designer stores, impeccably maintained and presented. The walkways between the stores are easy to navigate, aesthetically pleasing, shaded, nicely marked with directional signs — and positively stunning to the eye.
My wallet, however, would not have survived the intense hit had I decided to indulge in any of the offerings here, even at locations where there was a «sale» going on.
Oh so nice to look at. .. but impossible for the average teacher (like me) to afford.

Easily one of the most beautiful shopping centers in the country.
Yeah, the shops are great, but it’s the atmosphere that brings me back. Waterfalls, plenty of benches and outdoor seating and a great place to spend a leisurely afternoon, whether you’re engaging in retail therapy or not.

Great shops, beautiful higher end shopping and restaurants, Nordstrom, Polo, Pottery Barn, Kate Spade just to name a few… I enjoyed the day very much worth the trip. The area is just beautiful.

The shops are wonderful, great stores. Very disappointing with the hours of operation though. The websites and directories give false information about closing times. They close very early, sometimes before 7pm. Very disappointing to tourists wanting to shop and find something to do.

My future mother-​in-​law took me to Waterside Shops, and I was wowed. It’s an upscale, pricey outdoor shopping mall with relaxing aesthetics.
There are fountains literally everywhere you go, and it’s not overcrowded like the outlet malls. Moreover, the ground is paved with ceramic tiles, giving the place a very clean look!
Most of the shops here are pretty high end, but there are also stores for the everyday person to shop at like Nordstrom, Loft, White House Black Market, Ann Taylor and Chico’s.
Most of the shops have pretty good service, but I guess that’s what you’d expect at a shopping mall like this!

The Waterside Shops at Pelican’s Bay are what every shopping centre should strive to be. Every store has the best layout, some of the best customer service (I liked the Florida Mall’s Nordstrom a bit more for customer service), and the best design.
Let’s start by talking about how freaking cool this mall’s design is. It spews modern luxury. With the Window Dressing, the nice (out door) «hallways» with beautiful palm trees, and the intricate water ways. It all comes together to make such a nice shopping experience that you wouldn’t even think you were really in the middle of a mall. Not to mention, when we went, there didn’t seem to be very many people. Meaning it was very quiet. Awesome!
Now, onto the customer service.
Our first stop was Brooks Brothers (since that was the first thing we came upon… basically…) The store was clean and very nice. I’ve been in a Brooks Brothers before (the one at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando) but I don’t remember it being this large. Either way, that’s beside the point. We are talking about the customer service. So, what did I think of it? Well, the people were nice. They made sure we knew a sale was going (sweet!) and they didn’t really bother us past that, other than a nice «Hello, welcome to Brooks Brothers!» and, «Have a great day!» After that, we experienced the same great service. Everyone was happy and smiling, helpful, and far from dreading their jobs. One lady at Anthropology was actually extremely helpful. She recommended the Mercado for extra shopping and dining (which we visited later that day. My review for Seasons 52 will be made after this!) and told us about a Spa in the Hyatt Resort near/​in Coconut Pointe. (My mom was asking about any Spa’s near the area.)
Overall, it was just splendid! As I said, everyone did their jobs well.
Last but not least, the stores! After all, that –is– the backbone of any great mall. And this one had quite the strong backbone, if you will. There was the high-​high end like Burberry (best high end fashion store, seriously!), Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci etc. Then there were the mid to high level fashion like Anthropology, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic/​Gap, etc. Then you had eateries/​restaurants like Brio, Starbucks (they make a tasty Iced Café Mocha!), California Pizza Kitchen, and a few more. Quite a great selection. Maybe not the biggest in the world, well definitely not the biggest, but one of the most high quality selections I’ve seen. There were absolutely no dumpy places.
Overall, if you are in the Naples area and want to shop in a very nice place, stop here. Don’t even second guess it.
P. S. Almost forgot to mention the department stores. Well, there are two. Saks Fifth and Nordstrom. Didn’t get to Saks, but Nordstrom was nice. Maybe on the small side (compared to our awesome one at the Florida Mall in Orlando) but it still worked well and it was very nicely furnished.

Serious shopping for the rich. A few stores and restaurants are affordable to commoners like me. Good place to pretend you have the dough if you are into that.
Best part is no pack of teen and tweens hanging around.
