It’s a Publix. It’s also huge and a lot of old people are wandering up and down the aisles. It’s not a bad as the Cotsco here is Naples but they do run into you with their carts a lot.

I come to the Publix at Riverchase for convenience, today I preordered my sub for lunch online so I wouldn’t have to wait in line. When I got there it was ready but already my order was wrong(I had no lettuce bag on the side like I requested) only because I ordered a pressed sub. And when I got back to the office I had no turkey in my sub like I also requested. It’s so disappointing because at lunch we rush around and hope that our food is made to order.

This Publix needs to renamed the house of rot and death. I never review grocery stores but this one needs to be shut down, bulldozed down and the employees be sent to Cambodia to dismantle electronics. The produce is consistently rotten, bought asparagus a few weeks ago and the slimy stench from the package made me gag. Today opened a package of buttons fresh pasta with a sell by date a month away smelled like something was dead in the package. Publix is well known for jacking prices in season even though gas is at its lowest in 3 years, I think its time for Publix to fade away into the abyss they just can’t handle this business. Maybe they can just sell dented cans, may Publix dollar store. They just don’t have the quality of other states grocery stores. Florida deserves better.

I purchased organic spaghetti. Opened the box and found bugs in it. Called the store and spoke to manager he said he would refund the purchase but was not interested in even knowing the brand to take them off the shelf. I would never support this store go to whole foods or trader joe.

The only Publix I would go to with my hubby. It is newer, spacious, easy parking without fighting other stores nearby. Lots of choices but prices are high. Big floral area, bakery, now they stock more organic fruits and fresh veggies. Also many gluten free choices in freezer section. The opposite side of the bakery is the drug store area. There is also a designated back corner for pet food and care. Read your labels, lots of Made in China treats, which I will not buy for my 2 furry babies. I must say, staff at Publix have always been professional, friendly, helpful. I also check out quickly. However, until I win the lotto and/or they settle with the Immokalee Tomato growers/pickers … I shop elsewhere when I can.

Publix has a great Key-Lime — it’s already garnished with whipped cream and shaved almonds — AWESOME! — The deli counter is pricey, but they make fresh subs for picnic’s and they’re priced right. The food it a little pricey, but it’s quality. In Naples, FL it’s difficult to find quality food, but the Publix it’s worth it. Best of all — they match pricing with Walmart, Sweetbays and Winn Dixie. I found that out because our vacation home is close to Immokalee Rd and Collier Blvd and we have one these. They want you to leave satisfied — you will pay more, but if you shop sales and smart; you will make out — just fine.

This is the BEST Publix store of all time! Yes, I said it the very best! They really should get an award for how awesome they are here! The staff is nothing short of perfect. I have lived in the general area for about 4 – 5 years now and I come to this Publix always even if it’s not the closest Publix supermarket! All of the staff(the men that are always stocking the Isles and adding new produce, the bakery and deli staff, the cashiers, and baggers, the man at the seafood counter, the customer service staff and the managers are ALL top notch!) Not only are they all super friendly, but everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are finding everything you need and always offer to help(the manager even spend a good 30 minutes one day searching for a hard to find item and called all of the other publix stores to see if they had it even though she totally didnt have to!) Very courteous, helpful and efficient. No idea how they have a staff where every person working there is great. I’ve never in all my years of coming here had someone walk by without a smile and to me that is «whoa!» The food here is a great selection! I’ve never had to return anything for not being fresh or great quality and I always find everything easy, it’s a very well organized store. They have just about everything. I would LOVE is they did get some more of the Greenwise selections/area but as it is, it’s still great. Do your shopping here and it will save you a lot of headaches and you will find you can’t wait to go to the store again just to have people be nice to you!

Any Publix anywhere, I do love your subs! The subs are outstanding & a go-to spot for cheap eats! Boar’s Head brand is a few cents more, never got the cheaper stuff, but Man O Man, the subs are the best thing going! Real fresh stuff to put on it, you can see the ingredients & the mayo bin is always key! It looked great. People taking your order are not very friendly, but with all the old-timers here in Florida, yelling their orders w/entitled rudeness, demanding this, this & that for days on end, or just plain-olé retired obliviousness, you expect the GFYS attitude but the end product rules! GREAT subs here. Stock up on foot longs & you can eat for days when the misses decides to go see family for the week! I’m a happy Hot-dog!

This hybrid Publix(direct competitor of Whole Paycheck– I mean Whole Foods) is kind of like the hotter, more popular sister you really can’t wait to get a date with. Then you finally get in, and you’re like«Meh, I should have just stuck to the one down the street from me that was less work to get to». It’s beautiful in here… don’t get me wrong. There’s a nice salad/hot bar, it’s much more open and ‘new’ feeling here, and the shopping experience is a certainly more upscale than other sister stores. Basically, in between the Kraft macaroni and cheese and Velveeta mac&cheese one can find a $ 4 box of ‘organic’ or ‘gluten free’ box. M’kay. Overall, the experience isn’t enough to keep me going back. Whole Foods, Fresh Market and Trader Joe’s are still preferable if I’m looking for a better shopping experience.

So-so checkers come and go here, but great bag people stay to escort you and your groceries to the parking lot. It’s nice to see familiar, smiling faces on return trips. Stopped in for some shrimp. Rejected the labor intensive, circular plastic dishes with the shrimp lined up perfectly like little naval ensigns in favor of a real handful of shrimp from the butcher’s display. Seafood is fresh here and Ive yet to be disappointed. I took the shrimp home, skewered it with pineapple, and lined em up on the grill. mmm Quite accidentially, we discovered that our family’s boxer is a little allergic to shellfish. We regretted sharing a few bites of shrimp with him after we saw little bumps make a new landscape out of his usually smooth coat. A bendryl with a chunk of doggy food was a quick remedy though. Definitely can’t fault Publix for the cook’s oversight on that one.

I love Publix, not gonna lie — and this«hybrid» Publix has everything you were looking for and more.(Granted you may have to make a second loop to find it, with all of this space items that are usually on the same aisle in a small store may have been each given their own here) Of course they have the huge spread of fresh produce, the sushi, the deli, the decent wine selection, aisles of dried goods, and an array of fresh and frozen fish/meat products, but this Publix also offers more. Flowers? Gelato? Brewed coffees? Precooked dinners? Hot & ready to eat lunch options? Salads & Olive bar? How about an exponentially larger section filled with baked goods? They also have a larger selection of greenwise products and cater more to the wantings and withholdings of soy, gluten, dairy, organic, etc than any other Publix I’ve seen. I like to think of it of a nice mix of a whole foods and publix — where I can find a specialty item but I don’t have to shell out $ 6 for«organic» tin foil, I can pay half that for some Reynolds. Plus, you can’t complain about some of the nicest grocery employees ever. Also, they have a fairly large pharmacy section and Publix Liquors is right next door!
