History
Established in 1991.
Since opening in 1991, Options Thrift Shoppe has helped support The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Collier County’s only certified domestic violence center.
The Shelter has been transforming lives, families and communities through programs and services to prevent, protect and prevail over domestic violence through advocacy, empowerment and social change since 1989.
While the store has grown dramatically over the years, the true beauty of Options lies in the support it generates for The Shelter’s life-transforming work in our community.
The generosity of the Harris family, which enabled The Shelter to purchase the Options building, pairs with your donations of gently-used clothing, shoes, furniture, accessories and housewares to provide some 28% of The Shelter’s operating budget.
Our store also provides The Shelter’s program participants with free gift vouchers to shop for the items needed to rebuild their lives free from abuse.
