Excellent service! I purchased a pair of Saucony sneakers about 2 months ago at this store. My family has purchased several pairs here since relocating to Naples a year ago. A few days ago I noticed a small hole on the top of the sneaker near the big toe on the right shoe. Close examination revealed a similar defect on the left shoe developing. I took the shoes back to the store. The owner was so helpful, accepted the return graciously and provided a new, model as an even exchange. We will continue to make this our athletic shoe store!

Maybe the place has changed since the earlier reviews(it’s almost been a year since the last one), but I can’t see how anyone can give this store more than one star. The shop that’s on the website is not what you’ll find. I walked in today to get new running shoes. The person working there was friendly, but clueless. I gave him my size, told him what I wanted in a shoe and expected him to go back into the stockroom to get some shoes. There is no stockroom. Their only stock is what they have on the floor. They had only two shoes, in all of their brands, in my size(men’s 9 to 9.5). It looked like there were only about 50 boxes of men’s shoes in the place. I don’t know how they stay in business. Don’t waste your time going here.

Running shops are odd places. They exist in the market space between megastores(Dicks, Sports Authority) that sell mainstream running equipment and mailorder. So I always judge these stores by the quality(not the volume) of the equipment they carry as well as their ability to properly fit a shoe. NOTR is a small shop and carries high quality gear at reasonable prices — which is something of a miracle in Naples. The staff knows running and is careful and considerate when helping customers buy a shoe or a pair of socks — whatever is needed to make the run safer and more enjoyable. The store also acts as an important local hub for running events — hosting a Monday Night Fun Run, Bagel Runs, Dash and Dine, race registration/pickup, etc, etc. It’s a local gem. Drop by and say hello and get some new shoes.

Very tiny shop, one guy working, and he was more interested in the golf tourney on TV than helping me. Sort of an uncomfortable experience! I had to repeat myself a few times, when I was asking him questions. I felt weird being in that situation since I was the only other person in the store. Bought a pair of sneakers, though!

This is quite the local treasure. The staff is incredible– wildly helpful and friendly without being pushy! I’ve got to say I was a little intimidated as I’ve only been seriously running for a little over a month, this is the first«runnning» store I’d ever been to. But I was happily impressed with how casual and easy shopping was. Carl, the associate who helped me, was very informative and answered all of my question before putting me in a pair of fantastic low profiles that were below my budget! I only wish I had known about this place sooner. This store is awesome– don’t miss it!

Tiny running store located in a busy, large shopping strip mall area. Nice selection of shoes and clothing — especially considering how small they are. I always manage to pick up a pair of shorts here off the sale rack. The staff usually consists of just one or two people, even on weekends, yet they are quite knowledgeable about their products. Plus — I love that they are very active in the local running community — every time I have been there, they are passing out numbers for a local race, or have trophies/awards ready to give out.

5 star awesomeness. Went in to get new running shoes for the daughter. The gentlemen who helped us knows his stuff. Reviewed tread wear on old shoes. picked out some options, got her on the the treadmill to watch gait with different shoes. This is a real find /treasure in Naples. What makes the shop even better was the fantastic group run they hosted that weekend. About 40-runners strong, each of us in the family was able to find a running partner at our pace — knocked out 10 – 12 miles and then headed back to the shop for delicious bagels, OJ and coffee. Great community running store with terrific staff and they support the local tri community as well.

Came in for a race pickup and walked around to check the store out while I was there and not one person said a word to me. I would have expected better service since so many runners would be coming to the shop to pickup a packet. Staff better on those days and greet your customers.

Great running store. Decent selection of shoes, knowledgable and really friendly staff, even when my 2 yo was menacing when I tried on some new kicks. There was a great 50% off clothing rack and even more stuff on sale. If you run and live around Naples come here. Lots of info on running groups, etc. and Karl(or Carl) is super nice. Psyched I found this place when i got the itch to run on vaca!
