Kismet New American Bistro

We chose this restaurant for being #1 on Trip Advisor. The experience was great, with a couple of hiccups:
Cons:
It took a while for us to get a menu, or any kind of acknowledgement.
The appetizers were very small and pointless.
The owner seems to sit with each table at the end of their meal, which might be great for some people, but is a big categorical «no» to me.
Pros:
Their wine selection is great and extremely low-​priced. We had a bottle (!) of Dr Frank Celebre Cremant for $ 38!!!
The menu is fresh and innovative, the execution of main courses was flawless and the portions were ample.
Overall value of our meal was great.
Being a great ambassador of the Finger Lakes region in NYC (in more ways than you think), I tell people in the city that this wine-​country-​that-​you-​never-​heard-​of is not just full of great wine and cultural discoveries, but is also a hotbed of a new explosive restaurant revolution. Although Kismet is not in the front line of this new development, it is cementing the foundation for a great restaurant region.

Amazing food ! We shared an amazing charcuterie with fresh smoked mackerel that they do themselves… The pumpkin seeds were a very nice touch! Again not just pumpkin seeds these were harvested fresh and had a beautiful feature. For dinner I had the short ribs that were nicely done and not fatty again the meat from a local farmer… I highly recommend kismet

Fantastic ambiance, gracious staff & wonderful cuisine!!! Chefs came to our table to inquire about our satisfaction & discuss the entrée. This new place is headed in the right direction. Wife & I loved it. Wine selection was all local vineyards. We’ll be back :-)

Naples is very lucky to have this new Bistro! The food was perfect, as was our waitress. The owners personally asked us how they did and welcomed feedback. We will be back soon. Kismet is a new favorite, and I wish the couple success.

In the area for the weekend, we wanted a nice place with great food… Kismet fit the bill perfectly. The food was unique and outstanding! My pork was prepared perfectly with seasonal vegetables. I paired it with a stout beer from a local brewery. Dessert was a chocolate something and a cup of coffee… a perfect closer to a great meal. The best part was the friendly service that made us feel special. The chefs came out of the kitchen to chat with us and ensure everything was OK. Will recommend it it highly and we will be going back when in the area. Thanks Kismet!

I enjoy food. Specifically, great food. I also enjoy a warm, inviting space with pleasant service. Kismet is a new favorite! A wonderful blend of all things delightful.
