Had the scarless bunion surgery and am back to loving open toed sandals.
Traveled from Texas to see Dr. Lam about my mild bunion. His staff was super nice, friendly, and patient. He came into room for consultation and although the he answered my questions, it felt very rushed.
He performed the surgery that same day. The healing process is tough if u lead an active life, but it’s part of the process. Get your meds and take them because when the anesthesia wore off it was throbbing like hell!
Cons: The boot that you have to wear is unsightly!
You have to visit dr. Lam in intervals of 2 weeks following the procedure. First for stitch removal and then again to remove the pin. I was fearing the pin removal passionately, but it happened so quickly although uncomfortable, it didn’t hurt!
You gradually use stiff tennis shoes to stretch out your toes, but I was back in my work heels at about 10 weeks post op.
I am absolute glad I learned of dr. Lam. He was able to rectify my pain and the unsightly bunion without leaving a scar. I am brown skinned girl and the incisions are very tiny!
I would def recommend dr. Lam!
