Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

My third and fourth massage were disappointing. The therapists both showed up late, about 4:10. Began my massage after consult at 4:15, stopped at 4:55 — so, a good value for 50 minutes at member price of $ 59, but not such a great value when you think you’re paying for 50 minutes but get 40. The last two massage therapist used so much oil I was slick — and they rubbed it in my hair —ewww.
But, the beauty of this chain spa’s upscale décor and overall presentation, from the front desk staff to waiting areas and massage rooms is solid. The eyebrow waxing was not exactly expert, no trimming or shaping.
A good value for 50 minutes, but when you only get 40 — twice, something’s up. Give us our full 50 minutes, show up on time, and ease up on the oil.

I started writing this review in my head while getting the massage… Which isn’t really a good sign because if the massage I am getting is PHENOMENAL, then yeah, I’m going to be so zenned out that I can’t even think straight.
The first thing I thought: oh this guy seems attentive, so far, four stars… But once the massage began, the stars declined.
If we swapped in blue paint for the oil he was using… Yeah, by the end of my treatment, I probably could have been confused for Mystique. You know, from XMEN. He was slapping that oil on like no one’s business… Which would have been fine, except, he was well, just slapping it on, no really massaging… Not really getting into any knots or anything. Sure it’s relaxing to just have someone touching you, but if I am shelling out $ 80 for a massage (that’s with tip & the peppermint head massage add on), I expect a bit more than just being stroked. I’m pretty capable of taking a paint brush and painting myself if I REALLY WANTED.
Oh and the additional peppermint massage. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The last 5 minutes of the 50 minute treatment, you inhale some peppermint extract that almost burns your nostrils and then you get your head scratched as if you had crazy amounts of itchy LICE that needed destroying. Once again, I could easily do that myself.
I won’t lie to you, I’m pretty spoiled living in Los Angeles where I am able to get hour + massages for about $ 30… That are actually AMAZING… But I mean, what else is a girl to do in HOT AF NAPLES, when it’s also cloudy/​pouring rain. At least this massage killed time, and I was pretty tired so it was at least a place to lay down!

Went to get a much needed facial and left so disappointed. I asked my aesthetician why she didn’t do the extraction process and she replied stating that I didn’t need it. I discussed it with the «manager» and she dismissed me saying they don’t do extractions… save your money and find a place that knows what they are doing.

Caveat emptor! Don’t leave your minor unattended during a service! Took my teenager for a teen facial and a lip wax. I was next door getting a massage. I had a great massage given by Shirley. I would highly recommend her and tried to rebook with her before I was barred from returning after I refused to pay for an unauthorized pricey micro abrasion facial (which I did not book nor authorize to be given to my teenager). They tricked her into signing for a different service (double the price) once they got her in the room. She Did Not get her lip was because of the aggressive facial (which I did not authorize). Then the manager told me I could not return after I refused to pay an additional $ 80 for the micro whatever I did not ask for. What an operation! They try to sell you a monthly package before you can even get it of the door. Then the manager gets my daughter to sign for something she isn’t aware of. I wonder how many other teens they have done this too. What a scam operation! Then she has the audacity to tell me she will give me $ 20 off the facial I Did not request when I paid for a facial $ 90 that she did not get! Something is wrong with this picture. Instruct your daughters to sign NOTHING! Moms, sign for your daughters if they don’t high jack her in the treatment room like they did mine!

I am very disappointed and unhappy with the customer service I received at the Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa located 9128 Strada Place, Suite 10 105 Naples, FL 34 108.
I have been a member for several months. Throughout my membership I have experienced numerous appointment scheduling problems in which The Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa have shorted my scheduled massages sessions.
The first time, I was scheduled for a 2 hour massage. After checking in at the reception desk the massage therapist (Brenda) came out to the lobby area and told me that she does not do 2 hour massages and that she did not know why they scheduled me for a 2 hour massage.
The second time, I was scheduled for an 80 minute massage. During my massage the therapist advised the session had ended (30 minute early). When the receptionist (Loren) was asked about it she stated the massage therapist was a new therapist and was not aware of her time schedule.
The third time, I was scheduled for an 80 minute massage. Upon checking in at the reception desk (Stephanie) notified me that my session was cut to a 50 minute session. She stated the massage therapist (Brenda) needed a lunch break.
In addition, to the above The Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa scheduled me for a facial (which I never scheduled) It was not until they called to confirm the appointment the day before that I was aware of this appointment.
I understand mistakes happen, however my appointments were always scheduled in advance. Moreover, this just did not only happen once, it happened 4 times. At no time did management or the staff contact me prior to my appointment time to notify me of any scheduling conflicts nor did they rectify their scheduling problem.
It is obvious based on the continue pattern of poor customer service and appointment scheduling problems; that the current management and staff do not sincerely care about providing excellent services to their customers.
I guess it is true, you get what you pay for.

Everyone at the front desk, Baily, Jordan and Melissa are very professional and always greet me by name. Cari is THE best massage therapist. I would recommend the hot stone upgrade, it really gets into my muscles. If you want a quick, luxurious massage for a great price in amazing location, this is the place to go. I have been a member for almost a year and it has been a great experience and I have never had a problem. :)

Good messages for us but please hire people that speak english and can understand understand english. Asking for more firmness/​pressure resulted in turning up the heat on the bed. She sort of said sorry i dont know english. Really

Had the best massage and facial! I am so glad I signed up for the package, it’s such a great deal. I haven’t found anything like it in the area. My massage was one of the best I have ever had and my facial made my skin feel rejuvenated and clean. Great staff and Big thanks to the manager Melissa for talking me into signing up, definitely didn’t disappoint!

This place is amazing! If you’re looking for the total package with reasonable prices this is it. I have had many hot stone massages in the past and this one here was by far the best! It was super clean… smelled amazing and the staff was great! I will be back for sure I even bought a membership! I’ve hears about other memberships at other massage places but this one is very flexible and has great perks! Looking forward to my next massage!!!

I had my first appointment on Sunday at this establishment and I couldn’t have been happier. The professionalism was fantastic. My massage therapist Shirley was excellent and was very helpful with my specific back problems. I would highly recommend this place. It’s beautiful inside. You’ll love the exquisite interior and it is a very relaxing atmosphere.

I took advantage of their $ 49 introductory massage and it was worth every penny! Their hours are very convenient. The ambience is beautiful and relaxing. The staff is very nice and professional. Ashley gave me my massage and she was wonderful — nice, professional, and gave me the perfect amount of pressure during the massage. I requested firm pressure and she did not hold back. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely go back for more!
