Calypso Car Wash, Fast Lube & Detail Center

Based on other reviews, I stopped into Calypso Car Wash after a 2 day drive from Baltimore, Maryland. My car badly needed a wash and bug removal! I was delighted to find that on the first Wednesday of every month there is a Buy One Get One special. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the car wash. Four people worked on the interior and drying. I got in the car and put the window down and up thereby smearing the window. One of the workers ran over and wiped it off again! So, naturally, I returned for my free car wash at the end of my trip. I mentioned that I would love to get my oil checked since I was heading back to Baltimore. They directed me to go to one of the bays after the car wash. Not only did they check my oil, they checked every fluid level and put air in my tires. They replaced some window washer fluid. They would not allow me to pay anything! I highly recommend this car wash and wish I had something of the same quality in my neighborhood.

Our car was in much need of a detailing job since we hadn’t cleaned our car in over a year. I pulled the car up and the guys started vacuuming right away. Within ten minutes the inside was decently cleaned and the exterior was washed. We had Scott, the interior detailing guy, remove the stains, treat the seats, remove the scuffs and marks on all of the doors. I was incredibly impressed by his professionalism and the great job he did on our car. We will certainly return again for future cleanings.

Really fast oil change, no need to even get out of car. Great service, they don’t try and sell you what you don’t need.

This was fast, easy and my car (which was insanely dirty from being down here over the summer months) was really clean. They even put air in my tires for free. I will definitely be coming back here for my other car!

Had my carpets cleaned and car washed. The best anyone has ever done for the most reasonable price. Car looks like new again. Such a great feeling to see clean carpet lines and fresh smelling car.

We had our car detailed — total was $ 190. The SUV was a mess — we had moved, driven to the beach in NC, then driven to Naples. If a clean car is a happy car, ours was sobbing hysterically. We only had 1 day in which we could drop it off, and they were kind enough to work us in. Which concerned me — over stretched usually means poorly done. Not in this case. Car looked like new. Washed, waxed, steamed, cleaned, shampooed, polished — even a long time scratch was buffed out. $ 190 is not cheap. But when I think how filthy the car was, plus adding in preventative care like waxing and engine steaming, I feel the price was more than fair. Ask for Scott with Extreme Detailing (others work there too) and I can vouch for a job well done.

I arrived in Naples having just driven from Cape Cod and went to Calypso car wash. My wheels were caked with grime and brake dust and the front end had a lot of dead bugs caked on it. I took the Gold Wash that included a complete interior vac including the rear area in my SUV. After the wash there is a team of about 6 people that thoroughly go over the car to make sure it is spotless. Look for a coupon the Gold wash is $ 18 but it cost me $ 10 plus tip for the cleaning team.

My wheels cover are proof of car washes but the liquid they use is highly corrosive to the point of leaving them useless. When I went to complain to the owner looked like a gorilla without any education and utter lack of respect and rudeness. Actually the more unpleasant moment I’ve had in a long time as a customer. I honestly do not recommend.

Crappy car wash. Thought it would be a cut above, but not the case. $ 16.95 plus tip, and we basically got an exterior wash and that’s it. No idea what they vacuumed, because stuff still on floor. Car only partially dried. Save your $$$

Service still remains great. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s never a headache. What I would say is that when it gets busy on a Saturday or whenever, they tend to not spend the extra attention to the details on the vehicle. If I am paying $ 20 to get my car washed, I would hope they would spend a few minutes on the wheel wells.
Keep it a 4 – 5 star place because they are good to their costumer and always perform. They should do something for locals? Do they?
I would have thought they would have offered me a punch card or something at this point.
As long as the truck is clean I am happy.

Waste of money ! Windows streaked, can’t even tell it was vacuumed. Showed the manager footprints from their workers on the leather seats on the back and his response was we don’t clean seats. I saw the girl climbing around with her shoes on my leather seats and then not even wipe it off. Might as well do the 4 $ wash at any gas station. Gold wash is worthless!

I thought it was a little on the expensive side until I saw what an amazing job they did. I did the full service and paid $ 50 but it was worth it. They worked on my car for an hour and I haven’t seen it this clean in… Ever!!!

Just went to Calypso Car Wash… and let’s just say, I’m UNDERwhelmed! I had a coupon for half-​off, but the guy who received my car told me there was a BOGO deal today (buy one car wash, get a coupon for a free car wash later)…so I chose that over the coupon. When the lady rang me up, the price was a good deal more than I expected… as she rattled off what she charged me for (including a $ 2.50 upcharge for a van or SUV), I realized she had added a $ 4+ Rain-​X upgrade that I had NOT asked for (nor would I ever pay that much for it)! Once we got that correct and my card was charged, I asked for the coupon for my free car wash, to which she said was only on the FIRST Wednesday of the month. I said, «Oh…well the guy that greeted me told me that was today. If I had known, I would have used my half-​off coupon instead.» Her reply? «Oh well… sorry!» It was NOT a sincere apology by ANY stretch of the imagination — it was more like the sarcastic «sorry» you get from a child when you tell them to say «sorry» and they aren’t really sorry at all! Once my car was «done» I discovered that my 9-​year-​old could have done just as good of a job as they did… for a lot less money! They did not fully wipe down my dashboard (dust still easily seen) or vacuum up the sand under the back seats (which could easily be seen with the back hatch up… and I picked a package that included trunk vacuuming for just that reason!). My son also noticed that the floorboard was damp (despite the windows being fully rolled up) and shoe prints all over. Oh well… lesson learned!

Is owned by two brothers who oversee operations daily. Very reliable for oil changes, and they do a great job cleaning the vehicle — like a mini-​detail. I have been going there for years and trust their service.

Great people. Friendly, courteous and professional. Ken, the owner, arranged for a pick up and drop off. Tom, the detailer, takes pride in his work and has a great eye for detail. I did the three step process — clay, wax and sealer, shampooing and interior. My SUV had been neglected for some time and the car is ten years old… they restored it back to its original gleaming condition… the paint was smooth again and had lustre, the rails and the door jams were jet black, and the rims sparkling — it gleamed. My car was brought back to life. They can also take care of minor touch ups, just bring in the paint and they disappear. This is the place to go!
