Walmart Supercenter

WalMart is a necessary evil in my life. Great prices and one stop shopping for everything but unfortunately, anytime I shop there I can’t shake the feeling that some poor little mom and pop shop or business with character is going out of business somewhere.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Worst customer service ever. Do not use their «pickup» service. The employees are incredibly rude and so inefficient. Save the hassle and drive a mile north to Super Target.

Waited on hold for 10 minutes to find out if they a car battery in stock for my friends car. A lady finally picks up and says I will have to come into the store to verify because the phone cord isn’t long enough to reach the computer she needs to use to look that up??? WTF, LMAO!

This is my first Unilocal review ever. I felt the need to write this as I just ended an over 10 min phone call to this place. Within the 10 min I asked one super rude employee to check the status of an item I already purchased a week ago. She cut me off real quick saying «well you need to wait for an email, ok so hold on.» Spent 5 min on hold. Same lady picked up the phone– so I had to repeat myself. I got the same answer and she put me on hold again. I decided to just out my phone on speaker and yet another 5 min or so went by so I hung up. Guess I’ll just have to wait for that email lol I shoulda known better than to shop at Walmart but I figured doing it online (with in store pick up) would be easier than having to go and shop inside that place. Nicer location, still the same old rude Walmart staff.

This was one of the top worst shopping t experiences of my life. There are not enough cashiers and the ones they do have are not well trained and not really even cordial. It’s unfortunate but seriously awful. I would go to Jewel or Target and be grateful

Was great when it opened. Very clean and well stocked. It slowly has become like all other Walmarts. Becoming disorganized. Slow checkouts, long lines, attitude with customer service desk. I usually go in the morn very early when there isn’t many people and hopefully when it’s being stocked. Deli counter though lacking and just carrying standard fare are staffed with nice employees.

Unfortunately sometimes you have to come to this store but cringe at the thought of going. You set foot in the store and instantly remember why you hate this place. Many of the employees don’t care and are otherwise unhelpful. Long lines at checkouts and a packed parking lot. Man I hate Walmart.

Keep this short so don’t sound like some nagging customer… Ran inside for something that should’ve took one minute and turn into an argument with one of their department managers… one of dumbest persons I’ve ever talked to… very serious… I simply can’t believe she was hired let alone a department head (fancy name for an aisle referee) named Anna…25 min in store wasted then 30 min on phone with corporate, called back store to get Anna’s name since forgot it and the front desk people kept putting me on hold and ignoring me, 3 times called back and never got an answer… purposely done and very obvious…30 min for that, so called back corporate and had them call store for me…10 min wait for that… all this just because I went in store to pick up a single bottle of soap. RIDICULOUS… Now I want to see how corporate will handle this. Will they do anything about it or will it get laughed about in the next team meeting at that store where they’re all friends.

I have only ever been to a Wal Mart to take a poop, but it worked perfectly fine for that.

I go there because it’s open 24/​7, but the fruit isn’t very fresh; in fact at this point I gave up on buying it there because ¾ times I throw it out. Their dairy also isn’t stocked sometimes, so you have to come back/​ask for items.
The wait for the sporting goods people is HORRIBLE, expect to wait 30−60minutes… it’s a joke.
Bottom line is unless I really need something I go to costco.
To their credit though, most of the time the staff is ok, helpful sometimes.

The only thing I buy at Walmart are cheap clothes for work. I had to make an exchange and apparently it was the guys first transaction… Ever. I’m kidding of course but it felt like he just walked in off the street and it took 20 minutes. Then, another item I bought on a lark was priced wrong. And to top it off they either didn’t have or very well hid toys from big hero 6. I looked at every toy aisle. How could they not have even one on such a hot movie now? Yes this store isn’t going anywhere due to prices but I will not be anywhere near a regular.

This is by far the worst Walmart. Staff is very rude, very unhelpful and the store is very disorganized. I would much rather go to a Walmart that’s on 111^th st for more pleasurable experience with a much more friendlier staff.

I love this Wal-​Mart because I can always find something! Its that simple, I can always find anything I need for the most part and their 24 hours so that’s a plus. I can go shopping at midnight when there is no crowds. So I love that. But overall its your typical Wal-​Mart.

They were convinced our Ids were fake… didn’t even check it they just wanted to show power and refused to let us buy beer… so unprofessional

Always out of items. I’ve shopped at super walmarts for years and after moving to Naperville, IL I was excited to see a new Walmart being built. After so many disappointing moments here and struggles to return items that didn’t work and a huge lack of products on the shelf –we are done. I’ve shopped at walmarts all over the U.S. B/​c I have lived many places and this one is shockingly disappointing especially for a BRAND NEW STORE! Today will be the last time I set foot in this store.

Wow… I use to shop at the old Wal Mart on 59^th until now they moved it to 75^th. I tried to return a Coat I got as a gift to this location.
There was a couple in front of me that tried to return a New Stereo. They said it did not turn on. They just want to exchange. The girl in the counter… who is GHETTO AS HELL was SO RUDE to this older couple Was yelling at them and said she cannot return it because she cannot find it in the system. The lady ask her, can you try please? The girl said NO. She said can I talk to a manager? The Hood Rat yelled at the woman pointing to her name tag and yelled, «I AM THE MANAGER! CAN YOU READ!» The couple left.
Now it is my turn. I brought up my coat. The pigeon head said she couldnt return it because the Coat was bought in the Batavia location, not Naperville. I said… but it is this same store??? She turned the computer screen around so fast I thought she was going to break it!
She rudely pointed to the screen and said to me like she said to the customers before me. «Ugh…look here! Can you read?! Not from this store!» I just took my stuff and left.
I hate to say this but when I shopped at the old location, there was a lot of nice people older people working there. I think when the new place opened, they hired a bunch of low life, low thinking, rats that don’t know anything. On top of that they are so angry they are only getting paid minimum they pass those «savings» on to us as a customer by screaming at our face.
A Wal mart opened up in Kirk Road and I shop there now. I feel so sorry for the Naperville folks that have to shop here and put up with this ignorant mess.

Here’s an update for you. My girlfriend went to this Walmart today to return some items received as gifts for her daughter. To her amazement the women working the ironically named customer service counter initially refuse to accept the items with gift receipts. She said that she couldn’t refund the items because they were gift receipts because they didn’t have the prices on them. Huh… say what?! Then after being taught what a freaking gift means and why they don’t have the prices she said that she couldn’t refund them because she would have to look up each one. Really?! Isn’t that your freaking job! My girlfriend had to get two additionally intellectually challenged managers involved which after having also to be taught why they need to refund these items informed the two women at the customer exchange counter that they should provide refunds. After which both women begrudgingly and as slowly and inefficiently as possible started looking up each item while making comments not so quiet comments under their breaths. This is so totally unacceptable it’s not even funny. $ 15.00 an hr my ass. In fact this Walmart after only months of operation already needs a serious overhaul to ALL the staff working there. I’ve to Walmarts throughout the country when I’ve been in need of items I know they carry and have never experienced the utter ineptitude, lack of care, and basic laziness from employees this bad.
I can’t recommend enough avoiding this Walmart until some serious changes are made. I understand that Walmart is Walmart, but they definitely wouldn’t have ever reached the size they are today with staff like they have at this one.
Apparently I can’t give zero stars so take that into consideration.

This new store is a welcome change to the old store. The old store was dark, cramped, and reeked of day-​old Subway sandwiches. The new store is clean and organized, but I doubt it will stay that way for long.
The store is huge, but there is so much merchandise that the aisles are narrow. They moved locations for more square footage, but they have still crammed every square inch of the store with stupid promotional kiosks or making aisles impossible to pass two people at a time.
I found exactly what I was looking for here, which is a welcome change compared to some locations that are notorious for bare shelves, but I’ve been trying to avoid Wal-​Mart anyway.
This Wal-​Mart is an improvement that needs improvement.

As much as I dislike Walmart, this one is marginally better than most. I think it’s selection is lame and the aisles are just slightly too narrow, but it’s a decent one-​stop-​shop when you need both Hostess Ding Dongs AND a garden hose.
Also, this Walmart is new (and it likely will not last for long), so it’s bathrooms are surprisingly nice. Spacious, clean-​ish — I was absolutely shocked.

Huge! This place goes on forever! It was raining when I arrived and I was expecting it to be empty. WRONG! The parking lot was packed. Maybe because it just opened up, not sure. They did have lots of people shopping on a weekday morning but not enough to be crowded. I noticed LOTS of employees stocking shelves. Surprisingly only 3 checkout lines were open. I could tell that the cashiers were experienced. However I also noticed that they were struggling a bit because not all of the items were entered into the system correctly. Hence, it took awhile to check out.
Overall, I think that this Walmart will do well here. Huge parking lot all its own. And it definitely has plenty of shelf space and enough employees to keep them well-​stocked!
