Went in recently to get my hair done my Kristin, and would just like to say how much of an amazing job she did on my hair I got all over highlights and a haircut! Definitely would recommend her!

Can be busy, but keeps product in stock very well. Staff is very helpful and you usually do not have to hunt someone down. Wide selection and spaced so that it’s not too tight.

Customer service at this store leaves a lot to be desired. I usually find what I need, but on my own. The samples of the cosmetics are often in disarray and completely unsanitary so I usually get frustrated and go to sephora instead. I was looking for hair straighteners on one occasion and the sales girl was clearly irritated that I had asked her for help. She flat out told me that ultra chi was bad and that she didn’t know anything about the other brands I was asking about. Ugh. On another visit to the store, I got into an argument with an assistant manager over a special offer that I had received through email that morning. With a fine fragrance purchase of $ 50 or more, I was supposed to receive a free holiday plate set. he refused to honor the offer, claiming that the promotion didn’t start until the next day even though we both looked at the email on my phone and there was NODATELISTED. I eventually won and got my free gift, but not until another associate behind the counter stepped in and suggested that he stop hassling me. He was rude, impatient and should not be in customer service. I even wrote a complaint to the ulta corporate office and never heard anything back. This company will fail if they continue to do business like this.

If you’re in the market for a new skin therapist to take care of your waxing needs I HIGHLY recommend Rhiannon. I came to her as a walk in client and I was blown away by her friendly and professional demeanor. She listened to what I wanted in my brow services and asked great questions to clarify what I was looking for. I was very impressed with her attention to detail and so happy with how little pain I felt in the process. Can’t wait for my next service!

Always so helpful with what ever you need and they have so much knowledge on all product, and the stylist in the salon are very good as well!

Stopped in on a Saturday night and this store was dead. Guess now I know why. On one side they have the high end cosmetics, and on the other lower end easy to find at drug store brand. Now on the high end side they had the makeup artist ready w/brushes and such. On the other side, it’s pretty much fend for yourself, which is fine I guess. It would be nice to at least have a question answered if need be. I also discovered they had organized the lower end cosmetics in sections like lips, eyes, ect. Not a fan. I found pretty much what I was looking for, but honestly this location is so picked through and disorganized.

I stopped by this location on my way home from work at about 2:30 in the afternoon, so it was definately not busy. There were about 6 or 7 girls working that I could see out on the floor and only about 2 customers in there besides myself. There was one girl at the front register twirling her hair as I entered. She didn’t bother to greet me. I wandered the floor for a good 20 minutes looking at different products.(as I was there looking for a good moisturizer and some other skin care.) In that time, not one person asked if I needed help, if they could direct me somewhere, or answer questions. I was in the BareMinerals section, reading boxes. The girl working that area was talking to another associate as she was fixing her hair in the mirror. I kept looking over at them to see if they would come over to help me. Nope. I continued on through the higher end cosmetics with still no acknowledgement I was even there. Perhaps I was dressed wrong… after all I was wearing my work clothes(I work in a warehouse) so I didn’t «scream money» to any of them. The customer service here stinks. I could have gone up to any of them, but it became a matter of «let’s see how long I get ignored». With nothing better to do, they should have been looking to help anyone they could and make a sale. I became disgusted and walked out. I went to Macy’s where they were friendly & the skin care counter manager herself helped me find what I needed with no pressure. I was prepared to spend the $ at Ulta, but they lost my business because they either hire the wrong type of person, or they don’t imprint upon them what good customer service should be.

This Ulta is on Aurora just East of E. New York St/Rt 59 intersection. Although this location doesn’t carry the higher end cosmetics and skin care lines than other Ultas, it has a very good selection of nail products in the rear, as well as higher end hair care products. The cosmetics are well represented with brands such as pur minerals, bare minerals, tarte, etc. as well as your typical drugstore varieties such as Sally Hansen, Revlon, L’Oreal and Maybelline. They have a good section of hair color products, as well as extras such as cosmetic brushes, puffs, and sponges. Stay clear around the holidays because the anxiety, rudeness, and lines are a little too intense.
