Business Owner

Susan Pauna is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who graduated from Benedictine University with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology in 2006. She has several years of experience working with psychological, neurological and emotional issues. Susan has worked both in private practice and community mental health. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan including children, adolescents and adults. She has experience working with a wide range of issues, among them, depression, anxiety, divorce, parenting, and behavioral disorders of childhood. Susan is passionate about the opportunity to support people as they make positive changes in their lives. She believes that individuals have the ability to self-​actualize and prosper when given the appropriate relationship for healing. Susan provides a therapeutic relationship based on unconditional positive regard, genuineness, compassion, openness, nonjudgment, and respect.
