We had just put our house on the market and had our first showing (yay!) only to discover that the realtor left our house unlocked (boo!) because the front door key was so sticky that it wouldn’t even LOCK! Fast forward to Sunday afternoon, I do a quick search on Angie’s List and find Quick Key — within 30 minutes, their skilled tech, Chris, was at my house (in a professional van with their logo, clean clothes and friendly personality) fixing my front door lockset. It ended up being a more involved fix because there were several factors making the lock stick, but he explained each issue along the way, how he intended to solve it, and even sanded down a sliver of the wood jamb to alleviate some minor wracking that was contributing to the problem. The whole job took about 90 minutes and I saved 10% using an Angie’s List ad coupon. I was worried they would charge a ridiculously high fee for «emergency» service and considered waiting to schedule the work on a weekday, but even their emergency service call fee was very reasonably priced — as was the repair — and I’m glad I didn’t wait because we had more showings the next day. I would absolutely recommend this company for all your locksmith needs! Whew, what a relief to have that taken care of, for us and the home’s future owner.

Quick Key did a great job with re-​keying the locks on our new home. They came out right away when we called. Our tech was Bobby. In addition to just being a cool Hawaiian dude, his customer service was great. A small part broke in one of our older locks during the re-​keying process but Bobby was on top of it. He ordered us the new part (no charge of course) and came right over to do the repair as soon as it arrived.

Great locksmith! I bought a new FOB online for my Pontiac G6 and brought it into Quick Key Locksmith to have it programmed. The technician came out and had my FOB programmed in less than 5 minutes! It was a quick, easy process. Everybody was very nice and helpful, from the receptionist I spoke to when I first called and she quoted me the price, to the technician, to the guy who rang me out. I will definitely be returning the next time I have any need for a locksmith and will be recommending to friends.

We called last night to have someone come out and rekey our home today. There is 24 hour service (so great!) and they got me scheduled for the next morning at the time I requested. Brittney came to our home exactly when scheduled and rekeyed 5 locks within an hour. She was pleasant and speedy. I would have preferred a little more information about the prices up front, but they did give me the 10% new mover discount mentioned on Unilocal,when I asked. A manager called a few hours later to check in and make sure I was satisfied with the job and received great service. It was a very good experience!

Everything you would like from a locksmith. We needed some locks re-​keyed. The woman who answered the phone was professional. The prices I were quoted were flat fees rather than hourly, and they were competitive versus the competition. Even better, this leads to no surprises at billing time. Josh arrived within my preferred one hour time frame. He was professional, friendly, (and since I was curious) informative. He did everything right – even after bumping into a small puzzle of a problem – with patience and grace.
You might say, «Your points are granted. But nevertheless, why 5 stars rather than 4?» You got me there. Really, what else could they have done for the extra star? «They could have offered you a beer.» Yes indeed they could have. Therefore I offer this qualification of my five star review: Don’t contact them if you were expecting a free beer.
