Lucky Foot

This was absolutely a wonderful massage. I purchased the Groupon, & wasn’t expecting much for the price, but boy was I surprised. I loved the 30 min foot massage so much, I can back to get a 60 min one. It is not the traditional Swedish massage, but hits all the right points & I felt great afterward. I will be a repeat customer.

Normally this is a really great place to get a massage– and for a great price. I’ve been here before, but not in about 2 years. Those other times were 5-​star experiences.
However, today was an exception for me. First of all, I had a 3:30 appointment and my massage didn’t start until 4:15. Then I noticed that the price list was exactly the same as the Groupon price that I had paid. On Groupon it states that it was a 40% discount– turns out it was their everyday price. (Deceptive marketing)
Then there was a group of customers in the adjacent massage room that were talking so loudly that I couldn’t relax at all. Finally I asked the person that was doing my massage if he could ask them to keep it down. He didn’t speak English and didn’t understand my request, so he gets someone that understood and the noise came down. (There are signs all over the facility kindly asking that there is no conversation/​that this is a quiet place.) This disruption went on for the first 10 minutes of my 90 minute massage. Actually, during my 45 minute wait in the lobby I was hearing all the loud talking and when I realized they weren’t going to do anything about it, I offered to reschedule (which I didn’t want to do because I’d driven 40 mins from Oak Park and it’s 40 mins back). I was assured they were leaving before my massage started. Which they didn’t.
Once things settled down, I received a mediocre massage. I had specifically scheduled with a male masseuse because I don’t find that the light touch women give to be much to help my sore muscles — which is the very reason I go. The man I had happen to have a light touch. I laid there trying to decide whether or not to speak up. When I did, he didn’t understand my request. I took 3 times be fore he understood and clock was ticking. He also did not massage my face like they usually do (disappointing, but I didn’t want to have another complaint complicate the situation).
When he finished, my low back was hurting. (Whatcha’ gonna do :(? I went out, paid and left the tip. At which time I noticed I still had about minutes left of my 90. And that’s not including the 10 it took before the got the commotion to settle in order to even get started. So I basically paid for 90 minutes and got about 60 minutes. I’m sitting here in my car with a headache and a backache that I didn’t have when I went in. Since when is a massage stressful?
A complete waste of my day off and my money.

Wow! I was not expecting all of that! I purchased a 60 minute on groupon and let me say well worth it. I have had foot reflexology once in Hong Kong and it was amazing so I took the chance. It started with a head scalp massage, then shoulders, then my arms and hands, as my feet soaked in warm water. You are fully clothed the entire time (suggest to wear comfortable loose clothing or woman yoga pants too) then the feet were massaged, along with my legs, you flip over and then my back was massaged. Full body massage and fully clothed, fully relaxed. It felt more therapeutic and it was definitely worth it! I will be back again and you cannot beat the price.
Do not tip on percentage– I work in the hair industry and well worth a minimum of a $ 15-​$ 20 tip!

My wife and I received a Groupon for the 60 minute massage. By the name of the place and a few comments we read we thought it was going to be head & neck and feet. We didn’t realize until we got there that it was really head to toe. Pleasant surprise indeed. Our first impression is that this is a professional, clean and well done establishment. Soft music, subdued lighting and warm environment. To begin with, you don’t have to climb up on some massage table. These are low reclined (lay flat) chairs, where you initially sit and place both feet in a bucket of nicely warmed water, and then lay back. The staff (masseuse or masseur) begins a gentle massage of your head, temples, ears, nose, chin, hair and then places a towel over your eyes and moves down to each arm and hand, fingers, flexing gently and working on elbows, front shoulders. Next, feet are removed from the water, dried and then massaged with heels, toes, arches, ankles, calves, etc. This first part maybe takes 30 minutes (although it’s easy to lose track of time when relaxing). After this the fun begins!
I would recommend that anyone who has not had a full body massage to read and ask questions before you make an appointment because your masseur may not use English as their primary language. My wife & I were both OK as we’ve had massages on cruises etc (and in our opinion, Lucky Foot rivals some of the best), but the pressure if you’re not ready for it (working out kinks and knots) can be vigorous. My suggestion would be to ask questions before you begin, identify any problems areas or sensitive areas especially if you have a health condition. They have a sign that ask if you are pregnant, but I was almost ready to cry uncle a few times when my masseur hit a knot on my shoulder blade.
This, our first experience, was excellent and the value (as compared to this quality of treatment) is superb. For an hour massage, a $ 5 tip doesn’t cut it as these guys worked! I don’t base % of gratuity on the price of the service, but on the value delivered.

Great experience and an extremely good deal. The $ 28 for 60 minute foot reflexology is basically a full on full body massage. Deff worth checking out.

My husband bought me a groupon for a 60 minute foot massage for Christmas. It was to be valued at $ 65 for the price of $ 28. I make an appointment and get a confirmation text. I pull up and on the window is the $ 28 price. So it turns out there was no savings from the groupon. I go in and say I have an appointment. The lady at the counter says no you don’t. I show her the text and she says it is for a different location. The text only said Lucky Foot Massage. She decides to squeeze me in anyways. They tell me to sit and they come out with water and have me put my feet in it. It was a good start. Then they say to lie back. This was a little uncomfortable. Next thing I know he is touching my face. The groupon was advertised as a 60 minute foot massage. So for the next sixty minutes every part of my body gets popped and slapped. Only about 15 minutes on my feet. At one point the guy straddles me. And I had an elbow digging into my back. I was not impressed. When I leave there is a sign that says cash tips only. I did not want to tip since it was not good but I know people make a living off of tips and it was not his fault for the false advertising. I did not have cash so I was going to go to the atm to get some. I rarely get massages so I forgot the cash. It was my mistake. Well I was harassed for the tip. They allowed me to use my debit card. But in the end tips are not voluntary but mandatory at this place. This place is cheap but so was the quality of the «massage». They also are not very welcoming. I would recommend spending the extra money and going some where else.

I have enjoyed 2 – 60 minute massages here at Lucky Foot. Both were excellent. This location is very clean and their staff is very friendly. What I like most about this location is they have several rooms. Which means less noise and distractions. I highly recommend this place. I look forward to my next visit.

Not bad for $ 28.00 with a mandate $ 5.00 tip if you get the right person. I bought a coupon for buy 10 get 1 free coupon, so it reduced the price to $ 25.00 per use. I came here 4 times and was disappointment 1 time thus far. The time I came, it was a guy masseuse, which was a uncomfortable for me when he had to massage my back.
The 2^nd time I was there, I got a lady who was not bad, but I needed her to massage me with harder pressure. So, the 3^rd time I requested the same lady to massage with harder pressure, which was perfect.
The 4^th time I was here was the only time I was disappointed. I got this lady who basically massaged me for 30 minutes. The rest of time, I have no idea where she was at. She would massage me for 5 minutes and leave for 10 minutes. And, at the end, she demanded me for $ 5.00 tip =(
I still have a few more coupon to use, so I need to make sure I request the right lady to massage me.

One hour of reflexology, wow. I’ve got that relaxed sore feeling going on now. The masseuse started with my head and ears, then went to my shoulders and arms, before getting to my feet in the middle of the massage. When she pulled on my toes and fingers, I could hear the bones cracking and loosening up. She finished off by working on my back. I must admit I didn’t expect to have her elbow grinding into my butt cheeks. It was a good experience and I’d consider going back. The main issue is that getting there is a little tough with all the traffic on Rt 59 right now.

Alright, this place is a hidden gem. I don’t live in Naperville — but my god is massage place is excellent. You really should just go in here a going in for a Swedish massage… I was so pampered for 35 (with tip) total. Excellent! Highly recommend this place.

I just had my first visit here, but NOT my last. I opted for the 1 hour reflexology, rather than a full-​body massage. It was incredible! My reflexology guy was Jet (adorable name). He wasn’t at all rushed and was great with the pressure. Frankly, I’m the type of person who wants to feel the massage for a day or two after it happens, and Jet was up for the challenge.
Just as other Unilocalers stated, it’s very quiet and peaceful. No one talks to each other, and there is soft music playing. It couldn’t have been more relaxing. I had planned to do a bit of work from my phone, (which they said was fine) but Jet must know of the secret ‘get the hell off the phone’ pressure point because about 20 seconds into it, I turned my phone off, closed my eyes and found my zen.
I may opt for a full-​body massage down the road, but an hour of reflexology is a true treat. I can’t wait to go back soon.

If you’re a member of massage franchises, CANCEL now! This place is awesome for $ 28! I mean head to toe massage and you don’t leave oily! Chinese massage is the best kind. These guys know what they’re doing. Hubby came in with a stiff neck and left fully relaxed! I am too! What a treat! And no memberships required! We will definitely be back.

I am skeptic at first since I had a bad experience with a very similar place in Bolingbrook. I bought 90-​min groupons for me and my husband; and so worth every penny! I told the frontdesk lady that I prefer someone who delivers hard pressure and Steven was the answer. He takes time with the massage and address every stressed joint thoroughly. He also speaks english and constantly asking me if his pressure is enough or too much (which is good). I enjoy every minute of my massage, most especially my foot reflexology. The place is clean and quiet. The towels they use smells good. My leather chair is so comfortable and clean. My husband loved his massage too! Definitely going back!

I’m a frequent visitor for foot massages and have tried a variety of different places. At $ 28 for an hour, Lucky Foot was probably the cleanest and best value option I’ve been to in the Chicagoland area. They only offer 1 service but focus on your whole body. The experience always highly depends on who you get but I made a reservation for 3 people and we all had the same high quality masseuses with the same technique.
The facility is fairly large with 4 rooms that can hold a total of 12 – 15 at a time. You definitely need to make a reservation since there seemed to be a constant waiting room full of people. I was concerned that you could hear the constant chatter of people coming/​leaving but it remained relatively quiet throughout the hour.
I had been stressed and in need of a massage for the past 2 weeks so thanks to Lucky Foot for helping loosen up the knots and tension in my back!

So this experience was night and day compared to my last «foot massage» which ended with a dude on my back like a spider monkey jabbing his knees into my back and sniffling every 2 seconds. I don’t even know the name of that place, but that probably doesn’t matter since I’m sure they’ll be out of business soon.
The place is super nice inside and they do a great job of keeping the calm atmosphere. That is, of course, until I come in asking stupid questions like, «is anyone going to jump on my back?» The people at the front desk were kind enough to assure me no one would be mounting me today in quiet soothing voices. Phew.
I wish they would allow you a few minutes to get settled in without standing over you. It makes me nervous and I feel rushed. Anyhow, once you’re settled the massage begins. Other Unilocalers have described it pretty in depth so I don’t feel the need to go into it. It was nice, relaxing and totally worth $ 28.
Again, at the end, I wish I could have a few minutes to lay there and relax again without having them stand over you waiting for you to get up. Getting up right away caused a serious head rush and later a headache so having a chance to get the blood flowing before having to move would be beneficial next time. I think this is something I’ll ask for in the future.
I’ll definitely be back when I need a little pick-​me-​up massage!

Before going here, I really didn’t think you could get a better value than Happy Feet. BUT. for $ 28 you get a fantastic 60 minute full body massage.
I went here with two friends this weekend and we all left raving about the place. The rooms are very nice and the chairs are super comfortable. I am 9 months pregnant, so my massage therapist went very light on the foot massage and i wasn’t able to lay on my stomach to get the full back massage. It was still great and they were very accommodating to me. The rest of the massage was very heavy pressure, which I enjoy.
Do not go here if you don’t like heavy pressure. Or, be prepared to speak up! Otherwise, a GREAT value for a massage.

Went here for the first time. It’s a huge place and clean. You can’t beat the price for a full body massage. I came in sore all over and felt great leaving. Pan did a great job. Really strong pressure if you like it that way. It hurt where my muscles were sore but it’s what I needed. They also gave a little bottle of water when I left.
Would recommend to others.

I’m not really sure why this place has such great reviews. The woman giving me my «massage» was falling asleep (literally head nodding off), and my friend’s «therapist» had hands that smelled like cigarette smoke. This was even more evident when he «massaged» her face.
The atmosphere was fine and the chairs were comfortable, but onto the «massage.» Maybe we didn’t get the same high quality «therapists» that everyone else on here got. Maybe I’m just extra picky because my mom is a licensed massage therapist and so I’ve been getting massage regularly for my entire life. Either way, my entire experience could best be described as alternating between teasing (way too light touch) and torture (read: incredibly painful pressure), interspersed with brief moments of pleasure. There were times when this woman, at least two times my size, had her entire body weight resting on her elbow, which was planted firmly in my back, and moving. Ouch. OUCH!
The entire time I kept wondering if my friend’s experience was better than mine. Come to find out it was exactly like mine. I definitely won’t come back here. In fact, I’m not sure I will try another «foot massage» like this ever again, and will instead splurge on the real deal.

So in case you hadn’t noticed, it’s been cold outside. Cold enough to stop my blood from circulating, apparently. My hands and feet, which are always chilly, have been FREEZING. After looking at the flier for this place, which has been sitting on the corner of my kitchen table for weeks, a million times, I finally treated myself, hoping that the folks at Lucky Foot could restore some life to my frozen extremities.
Lucky me! This was more than I’d expected from the «less than $ 30 foot massage» place. For one thing, it was SILENT. I was a little worried when I walked in the door and the first thing I saw was a little girl about 4 years old who was prancing around and mugging at me, but she didn’t make a single peep. I promptly forgot about her, and everything else, when I was taken back to one of the treatment rooms. The place is broken up into several rooms with large remote-​control chair-​beds, with only a couple of chairs per room — less likely that it will get noisy. The therapists and other patrons moved quietly (only once in another room was a woman talking stridently as she prepared to leave, but by then I was so blissed out nothing could harsh my mellow).
I knew the treatment included head/​shoulder, arm/​hand and leg/​foot masage, but was really surprised (pleasantly) that you get a whole back massage too, with a nice range of stretching. Since I just messed up my shoulder this week, it was a welcome addition! (Be sure to wear a simple sweater or shirt that you don’t mind being rubbed/​tugged on. Obviously all of this treatment is clothing-​on, unlike other massage types, though you still have «draping» of a sort: a cloth to cover your eyes, large towel for your torso and towels for your legs when not in the tub of warm water.
Needless to say, if you are hyper ticklish or have a thing about people touching your feet, this is not going to be your jam. Otherwise, you will leave with your toes tingling (they alone got no less than four rounds of work).
Overall, this is a great deal for a nice pick-​me-​up. Though slightly out of the way from the «main drag» of 59 further south (it’s in Design Pointe, a shopping plaza largely dedicated to stores centered around home décor), it’s worth the trip. If you’re in Naperville and your feet need a treat, this is your lucky day!
