John & Eddie’s Pizza

Love everything about this place: The quality of the crust (s), the sauce, the toppings, the sides… Everything from this menu that my family and I have tried here have been top notch all the way. The only thing that disappoints me about John & Eddie’s is the fact that I’m moving soon, and I’m pretty sure we’ll be out of their delivery zone when we do. If they don’t open any more locations soon, I’m already planning on making the drive myself to keep this business and their food in our lives. Totally worth it.

Yum! We got the spinach and artichoke pizza and a pepperoni and black olive pizza all thin crust. For a side we got stuffed cheese breadsticks. The breadsticks are more like a soft pretzel … They are sinfully good and seriously may be my favorite breadstick ever!!! Great sauce
Next I’ll try the pan pizza

Ordered the pizza online which was completely painless. The email said it would be 60 minutes which I thought was a long time but the pizza showed up at my hotel in about 30 minutes. Delivery guy was great, pizza was hot and delicious. I probably didn’t need to order a large just for me. Leftovers for tomorrow.

Husband and I recently moved to Lisle from Chicago and we received a J&E’s coupon in the mail for a free 12 inch pizza. We ordered the original thin crust pepperoni pizza and hot wings. Pizza was more like a hand tossed pizza dough (medium thickness) but we were not disappointed… it was delicious!!! The ingredients are fresh and they were generous with the cheese… mmmmm…mmmm. Will be ordering from them again very soon. We both agree this is our new ‘go to’ pizza place!

I wanted to like it, I really did. I decided to break from my usual (Lucano’s) and try this place today. I order 6 mild buffalo wings and an ultra thin crust sausage and mushroom pizza. The wings were good, and the blue cheese dressing actually had real blue cheese in it. They were a easily 3 – 4 stars for delivery wings, although not hot when I got them. But the pizza… oh, the pizza. It wasn’t even remotely warm. Not refrigerator cold, but not warm at all. Maybe room temperature. So I nuked it about 15 seconds to give it just a little warmth, knowing that I couldn’t judge the texture at this point. The flavor… meh. There just isn’t a lot of flavor to be had here. I hear the sausage is ground in house, but there really wasn’t much on this pizza in the way of meat for me to adequately judge. I wasn’t impressed. Maybe it’s just my taste, but I like to think I have good taste. I’m sure there are John & Eddie’s lovers out there, but I just don’t see myself becoming one of them.

Once again, they quote one time for delivery and fail to meet it.
This time was a call for delivery at 5:09pm on Saturday. They told me it would be an hour and 20 minutes. A bit longer than competitors, but I knew what I should expect.
I called them at 90 minutes and was told that they were running 20 minutes late and were ABOUT to call the customers waiting for pizza. Huh.
This has been a recurring trend for this store. Great pizza. Horrible customer service experience.
I literally live across the street from this store, but find that ordering from across town is faster and more reliable. Sad.
Tonight is the last time I order from this restaurant.

One of my favorite pizza places in the area by far! Everything is always made correct and taste great!

Everyone’s taste in pizza is different. We had the sausage pizza and found the sausage to be too spicy for our tastes. I gave four stars because I feel that the quality was good, the service was good and the price while a bit high, felt appropriate for what we got. I would go back fot more but I would want to try other toppings.

We tried this place because my son selected a «free pizza» coupon from the Naperville Summer Reading Program. He voted the pizza here, «Two thumbs up!» I had the chicken club sandwich. It was very fresh and tasty. I would recommend this place if in the area. There is only a few seats inside and a bench outside. We were bummed because we really wanted to enjoy the food right out of the oven. Other than that, nice job!

OMG people! We finally branched out from their thin crusts and really thin crusts to the pan crust… and the only question I have is «why did I not do this sooner???» Truth be told I am usually way more into thin crusts, but the ham and pineapple in the pan crust was the best thing I have had in recent memory. Super soft almost buttery crust… mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm… the only problem was we didn’t order a large!

Thought we would try a new place. Thin pizza was cold so cheese was like vinyl and had the wrong toppings, wings were big, but also cold and tasteless. Deep dish was hot, but soggy all the way through and tasteless. Won’t order from here again.

Jeff and Nick were wonderful. It was our first time there and they treated us like royalty. Especially for pizza consumers (because we all know were all slobs). Jeff told Nick to make the pizza extra good with extra love, I’m not sure what this was code for, but it worked. So delicious.

We’ve given up on John & Eddie’s. We really wanted to like it — it’s close to home and the pizza is good. Because it’s pricey for what you get, we would order it as a special treat. We even adjusted to the fact that their online ordering system always underestimates the amount of time before the pizza is ready.
The problem is that they can’t seem to get the orders correct. We’ve ordered pizza about 6 times from John & Eddie’s, and 3 times the order has been wrong. We’ve ordered online only, so there should have been no confusion about what we ordered. They offered a credit for next time, however, there won’t be a next time.

Good food but overpriced for what you get. They offer free delivery but the portion sizes are small. The chicken club sandwich had thin sliced deli meat. Not impressed with this sandwich. You should use their online ordering… the staff has a hard time taking orders over the phone. Only pro is the free delivery.

This was very surprisingly good pizza and I am a pizza fanatic! Hit the spot, I will go back

Delicious local pizza joint. Everything is fresh & great customer service!

Just moved to Napervegas from downtown and looking for a decent pizza joint. Let me tell you, this crust is so unique and delicious that our «try every joint here until we’ve tried them all» has led us to eat here more than once. That is a good sign, folks. Get this delivered; you won’t regret it.

We just ordered a pizza from here tonight and it was FABULOUS, I couldn’t wait to review it. Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had! We ordered the pan chicken Alfredo pizza and will definitely getting it again soon.
There isn’t an adjective that will describe the taste adequately, but I’ll give it a try. First, the crust. Deliciously buttery yet crispy on the edges. The toppings all complimented each other in a perfect way. What I was most impressed with though was the sauce. Usually whenever we order a pizza with Alfredo sauce it comes runny and watery with no flavor. The sauce from John & Eddies was full of flavor and so creamy! Exactly how an Alfredo sauce should be!
Great job John & Eddies, you just made customers for life!

I was going to visit a friend in Lisle and I want to eat something quick. I spotted this place and decided to check it out. I just wanted a sandwish, I ended up getting the veggy sandwish which i think was amazing! It was pick up/​to go kind of place, I ended up eating it in the car. WOW if i’m ever in that area again, i’ll definitly go back and try it. I don’t mind these little quick places when im in a hurry!

I’ve tried their «Good Night Kiss» specialty pizza. It’s really chock-​full of, as they mentioned in their menu, everything that will give you bad breathe! Seriously, no kidding! I don’t think I kissed my boyfriend good night that evening. haha. Oh, I also need to mention that I like my food with some heat, but I was surprised that they kept the seeds on their jalapeño pepper slices. So, even for me, without some milk I was having trouble. Just watch out! But overall, it was pretty tasty!
I’ve also tried their chicken wings. They’re big, juicy, and fatty! You’ll get the most for your money on these bad boys.
So, if I’m in the area and feel like pigging out, I’d order from them again. The prices are decent, the service is nice and prompt!
