Green Drop

Should be called brown drop. Nice people, no complaints there. However, our guy came out during the rain the first time we started our service and the fertilizer clumped and we had at least six spots (a few fairly big) that were burned in the lawn. He did kill all the weeds, but now we have a few 4 foot patches of dead grass. Around our trees where there was once green grass its dead. They said they would take care of the problem one way or another but nothing was done. Before I wrote any reviews I asked the local owner/​manager what could be done in September. Jim insisted he would check it out and get back to me regarding a treatment plan to fix the problem. It is now December and have had not heard back. I tried to be patient when the Canadian customer service was extremely rude. Jim came buy to personally talk to me. That won me over. The weeds are dead which is great. However, now my lawn looks terrible with all the brown patches.
They did try to reseed and re-​aerate the lawn so I give them props for that but at the end of the day I will probably need to sod large sections of the lawn. It is tough for me to give them a bad review, but the results are what matter.

kyle is very nice, he’s also very quick to respond to our issues. but we keep having issues.
during the first treatment, the spray vehicle left big ruts in our rear lawn, and the grass did not grow back. i requested hand spraying, which they have now been doing.
the second issue is the overwhelming amount of crab grass that has popped up. when the technician was here the other day, it was impossible for him not to notice it. wouldn’t it have been a good idea for him to report it to kyle? finally, i emailed kyle myself, and he promptly returned my message, and promised to have someone come out and spray it next week.‘
then today, my husband mowed the lawn, and found burned patches (pretty big ones) in the lawn.
so far, this is not going well.

We tried all the main companies for years and our lawn never seemed to look as good as others. Then these little white trucks with this big green drop on the roof started driving through the neighborhood and I decided to give them a try. They are not the cheapest by any means, but they are with in range of the others. My grass has never been greener. I’m not sure exactly what they use, but it is candy to my lawn.

Our lawn was an embarrassment to the block. SERIOUSLY. We are a natural sort of family and the idea of chemicals on our lawn wasn’t good. That said, our lawn had barely any actual grass, huge prickly weeds were everywhere, and although 3 year olds were pretty excited about our «yard full of wishes», and there were always hunts for 4 leaf clovers, I was pretty sure our neighbors were dangerously close to taking up a collection for our lawn service. We asked around and «interviewed» a couple of companies and Green Drop was clearly the best. Jim loves lawns. He seriously knows what he is doing and within a couple of weeks our lawn was lush and soft and beautiful. I don’t even wear shoes when I walk around because it is like a lovely carpet. Our friends come by and can’t help but notice and ask who we hired to have such a drastic difference in our lawn. I always excitedly tell them how much we love Jim. It is a small company, his sweet daughter does the accounting, they use chemicals but they aren’t as harsh as many places. I STRONGLY recommend using Green Drop to get rid of your weeds (and did I mention that he is very affordable?)
