History

Established in 2011.

After completing his residency program in NY for additional education, Dr. Alvin Choi returned to his home state of IL and worked in retail locations as an optometrist. In 2011, he realized his dream of opening a neighborhood private practice in his hometown of Naperville where he can provide comprehensive eye exams and meet eyewear needs for the whole family.

He is currently seeing patients from Aurora, Bolingbrook, Oswego and Plainfield and is looking forward to caring for you and your family.

Alvin Choi O.D. graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-​Champaign with a B.S. in Engineering. Later, he decided to change careers and attended the Indiana University School of Optometry where he participated in two eye care mission trips to Honduras. He then received additional training in ocular disease/​primary eye care at a VA hospital in NY and had the pleasure of caring for the veterans there.

Afterwards, Dr. Choi returned to his home state of IL and worked at various retail locations until he opened his practice in Naperville where he can provide greater clinical care for his patients and provide the latest advances in optical materials and designs. He enjoys caring for his patients and looks forward to providing eye care for you as well.
