The minute clinic at this location is a joke! Have a fever, sore throat, dizzy, headache and they say to just take a decongestant and use a humidifier? Save your time and money and go to a real doctor .not a student in training!

CVS any day and every day over Walgreens! [Especially the case in Naperville]
CVS always has numerous cash back deals or weekly specials that blow other drug stores in the area out of the water. You can earn cash back points AND use your cash back coupons at the same time. At Walgreens, you cannot earn and redeem your points at the same time (which I learned the hard way).
Every $ 50 you spend on beauty products, you get $ 5 in cash back too. There are also machines (if you are a card member) where you can get extra coupons like 30% off toothpaste or snacks that you can stack on top of the sales/​coupons you already have. Customer service here is also wonderful if you want to ask them to search for something in the back. There have also been times where a sale was misplaced, but they always honor their mistake (and don’t look at you pissed off)!
I’ll admit it, I still have all my prescriptions go to Walgreens (but that’s because I’ve been registered there my entire life) but for everything else CVS all the way.

Just had a great experience with Elizabeth, who works there. The lens fell out of my glasses as I was getting fuel across the street. I came here and she not only helped me find the repair kits in my nearly blind state, but she even put my glasses back together for me! I wasn’t expecting this sort of customer service, but this kind woman helped me out and made my day. Thank you so much!

I have bought couple things at this store its close to work so i run here for emergency things first i bought a make up foundation it smelled really bad had to throw it away, same thing on a burt’s bees lip shimmer they were both smelling like old. Also thier isle ‘s are a mess all the time. all the nail polish are old and those are just some things that came up in my case. i dont recommend this cvs is the worst i’ve been to.

I have only stopped in here a few times although I pass by often. I just never thought to make this a «go to» place when I needed something since I was unfamiliar with the layout and it is a bit further from me than other pharmacies.
This week I was desperate! My son just got braces. He had cuts in his mouth that went away, but alas there was one cut that just kept hurting & growing and really needed MORE, much more, than the usual wax that he was told to keep applying to the hardware. I had gone to two other pharmacies and I could not get a different answer. FINALLY, some expertise! The pharmacist told me about mouth bandages — found over-​the-​counter in the toothbrush aisle, applied directly to the wound inside the mouth like a bandage to protect & cover the sore for up to 12 hours.
HURRAY! Problem solved! Wound is finally healing. So relieved! There really is a product out there for just this thing. Bandages for mouth wounds! Now, who would have thought!

Worst CVS EVER!!! I’m a 3x organ recipient and been to A LOT of pharmacies the past 15 years and NEVER seen one sooo disorganized as this one. The young African American woman who checked me out was soo clueless. It took her forever to search for my RX. Looking at piles and piles of bins. It was ridiculous. She also started to socialize with people and had gotten her phone out and was showing off pics… Very unprofessional. The gentlemen waiting next to me was upset as well. He had been waiting an HOUR for his RX. They had about 7 people working behind the pharmacy and not one knew what the heck they were doing. DO NOT go here if u don’t like incompetence. This CVS pharmacy was a joke.

The few times I have visited this store, I always feel like I’m stepping into a time warp. The carpeted floors just blow me away. It just seems so unnatural, for a drug store.
One reason I don’t like going to Walgreens or CVS stores is because a lot of strange people shop here. They have weird coupons or digging at the bottom of their purse for a penny or realize they don’t have enough money and decide, at the register, what to keep and what to put back. I just don’t have time for that. It’s not really fair. I like convenience, too!
I should have read the reviews before coming in here. (dummy) All I needed was a battery and I probably paid double for it. Yep. just checked Target and I could have gotten a 2 pack for, $ 2.39. I got one for $ 5.49!
Not worth it to go back and go through the hassle of returning, but I won’t be coming back here. I’m sure they don’t upcharge everything, but why even bother going?

Made a quick stop here for some essentials but only because I had a gift card. I had a gift card from another location because I had to return some terrible quality prints but forgot my receipt.
Walking in I noticed that they carry NYX cosmetics, which is my favorite low end brand right now. So after I grabbed what I needed I decided I can always use another Butter Gloss. The prices at CVS are higher so I wasn’t surprised when I had to pay .30 more than I usually do.
Disappointment set in when I got in the car, went to open my over priced gloss, and saw it was separated. Gross.
So they get one star for being open 24 hours. And one star for carrying one of my favorite brands. But overall… meh.
I’m going to see if I can exchange my gloss for a fresh one…

Good location, friendly staff.
It gets the fourth star for its proximity to the Ogden 6 theatre for candy.

if you ever feel like complaining about the service you get at Walgreens… go to CVS… it will give you a whole new appreciation.
plus…cvs prices are way higher.

The good about this place: it’s waaayyyy more convenient than Walgreens. The staff are friendlier, they help you find things, and they don’t lock everything away. They have a huge selection for a store this size.
The bad: don’t go here for a prescription if you are near death. They never seem to have any of my prescriptions in stock. I end up having to wait 24 – 48 hours to get medications filled. I suppose they need to keep costs down, but it’s a huge pain in the neck to have to come back twice to refill a prescription.
Overall better than Walgreens, but could still use a better stock.

Lets start at the start. I typically don’t like CVS, and think their prices are a little high, but I needed to get a prescription filled and it’s the closest pharmacy to our new Naperville pad (we moved in October, I know. It’s not new. I struggle to let go of city life. Back off).
So I had my doctor call in the prescription and promptly forgot all about it. I called earlier today to make sure it was ok to pick it up a week and a half later:
«Pharmacy»
“Hi, I forgot to pick up a prescription that was sent there a week and a half ago. Is it still ok to come get it?”
«No, we throw them out.»
«Oh…
…Really?»
“No! Haha! I’m kidding! It’s here.”
«Oh… Ok. Thanks.»
Now I’m all for a little comedic outlet now and then, but a pharmacy? Really? Annoying.
So I go there and there is literally no one in the whole store, which is fantastic since I’d already called to tell them I was coming so I figured I’d be in and out. The pharmacist (or tech, or whatever) took my insurance card, then noticed a couple walk in that she recognized. She greeted them, started to chat, then scowled at me and said «um, it will be at LEAST 5 to 10 minutes.» Then dropped my medicine (yes she HAD IT IN HER HAND) and my insurance card on the counter and rushed over to chat with the couple.
Twenty minutes later, as I was shooting death ray stares at this chick, she calls my name and rings me up. Now, I get that working in a pharmacy is not easy, and I also totally get that if I had unexpectedly come in and dropped off a brand new prescription for them to fill, that I should wait. However, my prescription was filled, bagged, and ready to go, and I’d called them only 20 minutes prior to alert them that I’d be coming. Blatantly making a customer wait so you can socialize is bad business.
This store has very little to offer by way of anything else — the selection is weird and sparse, the prices are obscene, and the staff are miserable — so having a terrible pharmacy is the final nail in the coffin, assuring I won’t be back.

The pharmacist and tech were clearly busy the evening I stopped by to pick-​up my prescription. The person who helped me stopped to process my transaction and I appreciate not feeling rushed.
«Do you have any questions for the pharmacist?» she asked. This is a standard question which unfortunately turned out to be a courtesy question.
I told the tech that I wanted to know what the medicine was. I described my situation that day (I called my doctor’s office to have my symptoms assessed and later received a voicemail from the receptionist saying she called in a prescription to pick-​up). I wanted to know how it would help me.
Tech: «It’s antibiotics.»
Me: «So is it like a liquid that I take once a day or something?»
Tech: «Yeah, it’s antibiotics.» (OK… didn’t you just say that?!)
My bottle actually contained capsules to take twice a day. Turns out the lady didn’t really look at what she was handing me and chose not to spend the time explaining it to me. This was a bit disappointing considering I had a question this time. (I usually don’t.) Although the lady herself was nice and easy to talk to, our actual conversation was unfortunately generic.

I was only in here for about three minutes start to finish, but that’s a good thing!
The three minutes allowed me to find what I needed quickly due to the good signage, find the register and check out quickly with no line.

Love this cvs. The pharmacist ar so nice and helpful I actually pass two different cvs’ to come to this one. I have had bad experiences with b word technicians who speak like they hate thier jobs n lives at other stores. It’s a clean store and there are many discounts with your store card. With the coupons and savings i get with my cvs club card I never go to walgreens anymore !

My first time at this location, was the third time I had visited a CVS store. I love it… but never thought much of the first two.
I now choose CVS over Walgreens when I need to pick up a few things, and both stores are close by.

Despite the number of drugstores in the area, this is the first pharmacy that my mom actually likes. The pharmacist has been really patient and helpful, which has made all the difference.
