I LOVE ice cream, not frozen yogurt, coconut cream or soy cream. OLDFASHION ice cream! This was the most authentic, reminds me of my granddads homemade ice cream i have had since the 60’s On my 1st trip to Oxbow market i tried Bittersweet Chocolate, next Mexican chocolate and 3rd trip was Butterscotch pecan. WOW on all three. Next time in San Fran or Napa this is a must stop and taste for me.

THEBESTICECREAM I HAVETASTEDINCALIFORNIA! I am serious. I’m not sure if it’s because of the ~all organic~ ingredients or what, but wow I think I have tried 3 – 4 flavors and they ALL melt in your mouth. We were on the hunt for some delicious chocolate ice cream during our weekend in Napa and to our surprise found 3 twins in the Oxbow market — Score! We bought their chocolate malt to take home and nearly ate it all. DEFINITELY treat yourself, it will be oh so worth it!

This is the best ice cream I’ve had outside Italy. I tried the honey & milk and banana nut, both were out of this world. The staff was also very friendly. I’ll be dreaming about the honey & milk flavor forever.

Hadn’t had Three Twins since the Unilocal Ten-Year SF Hornblower Cruise! I got a size small cup with the chocolate orange confetti and sea salt caramel flavors. So good! +1 was adventurous and got a full small cup of hops flavored ice cream. Hops! I guess the idea was: who wouldn’t love the essence of beer? I like beer, but was not a fan of that hops ice cream. My love for sweets must be to blame. I’ll try anything, but no thank you. They must have been testing it out as a new creation. I’ve heard of weird flavors before such as Tara’s Organic ice cream(see The Good Scoop Davis), and even using beer in desserts(chocolate stout cake, anyone?), however, pass on that hops. There were at least a dozen flavors available, not sure how frequent the rotation is.

Drove all the way from the beach in Bodega Bay and when we walked up the person hid behind the menu on the wall. There was a sign saying closed at 700 because of low supply. Boy were we pissed.

Three Twins ice cream is over the top! Primo! Creamy & mouth watering. If it says chocolate, it really tastes like chocolate. None of this poofy ice milk some vendors use. That’s cheap, lacking any true flavor & not ice cream. I only wish Three Twins scoops were more substantial.

If you haven’t tried their Lemon Cookie ice cream. YOUHAVETO! Very creamy and filled with chunks of lemon cookies inside. I’ve never really been a fan of lemon cookies until my friend told me to try their ice cream. I fell in love! Now I buy the lemon Girl Scout cookies when they’re in season and instant cop their pint size ice cream at Safeway!

I couldn’t come through Oxbow Public Market for lunch without stopping for something sweet and Three Twins Ice Cream did just the trick! Their ice cream tastes«organic» in the best way and they’ve got an unique array of flavors with our faves being the lemon cookie & chocolate orange confetti. They sell pints at Whole Foods which is a huge relief to know I can get this deliciousness at home too!

Not it’s own storefront, but a seller in the Oxbow Market — this ice cream is the best I’ve ever had. Delicious!

At the back of Oxbow Public Market is this gem of an ice cream shop. The Three Twins has a tiny niche of absolutely delightful creamy ice cream selection. I don’t think they offered free samples so that was a bit if a shame. Nevertheless, we chose Cardamom ice cream as it sounded like it would complement the Asian lunch we had. The warm spicy notes of the cardamom coupled with the smoothness of the ice cream was perfect dessert. Perfectly delightful!

Yes! Ice cream that’s organic, tastes excellent, and isn’t too sweet. I just love, love, LOVE this place. I’ve tried their strawberry, mint chip, and milk horchata flavor but I’m loving the plain strawberry so far. I can literally eat this stuff all day. I’ll be coming back for more flavors.

Located next to The Kitchen Door restaurant. Comes in 3 sizes. The teensy is a small scoop(smallest size they have) but perfect for a little something after all the food you’ve had in the Market! Lemon Cookie is by far my favorite. It tastes exactly like that: lemon and cookie. The cookie is a shortbread type cookie and the lemon is soft and subtle. I tried the salted caramel and that was pretty good as well though I would have preferred it to have more of the salted element. They also sell ice creams in the small cartons to take home. Ask for a sample of you arn’t sure which one to buy. Try it before you buy it !!!

This was my first time having Three Twins Ice Cream and I loved it. Where else would you find such unique flavors in ice cream? Although the shop is really small, they have many different flavors. You can ask for samples to taste before you buy. I ended up getting the cherry chocolate chip and the rice milk strawberry banana ice cream. Both of which were creamy and delicious.

Ice is good. Customer service not so much. No smiles, more grunts when asking any questions. Cookies & cream as well as Dad’s cardamom is awesome. Plenty of seating, well lit. This is such a cool little market to visit.

Absolutely delicious. They have 2 dozen flavors to choose from. Some traditional and some more exotic, all were yummy choices, I couldn’t decide so end up choosing three scoop ice cream, milk and honey(favorite), cookies n cream, and sea salt caramel. I also got it on a hand made waffle cone which was very good. The server was super nice and friendly. There was something that strikes me as I was walking away: there was dessert for $ 3,333. I didn’t get a chance to see in detail what that was about but it is a lux banana sundae with ice cream made from rare alcohol. It was a great way to finish off lunch. Would recommend the milk and honey if you can only get 1 scoop.

Really yummy and unique ice cream flavors. I ended up getting the lemon cookie ice cream on a waffle cone. The ice cream was creamy, refreshing and decadent all at the same time. The lemon flavor wasn’t too overwhelming and I loved the random chunks of cookie mixed into the ice cream itself. It was delicious. Only giving this place a 4⁄5 though because the scoop was rather on the smaller side and the waffle cone, although light and flaky, was pretty flimsy. I’d definitely go back to try their other options.

Mouthwatering, delicious ice cream! My boyfriend & I was walking around the Oxbow Public Market when this booth caught our eyes. We sampled & immediately ordered: Rice Milk Horchata(?) Rice Milk Blueberries(?) Both were amazing! I was not sure how rice milk would taste but it was sweet, full of flavor, & refreshing. I am so upset that I did not get more when I was there because they are not available to be ordered & shipped.

I’m a sucker for lemon desserts. So, it was either the lemon cupcakes at Kara’s Cupcakes in the same market or try something different at Three Twins Ice Cream. I went for the latter because I can get Kara’s in San Jose anytime I want. Of course, I went with the Lemon Cookie flavor and also topped it off with a scoop of the Banana Nut. Banana Nut is one of those flavors that can be just okay or phenomenal. Unfortunately, it’s just okay here. But, I basically just got it because I wanted to try other flavors(I’m a variety kind of person when I go to new places). Now, for that Lemon Cookie… O to the M and G!!! Freakin’ delicious! I’m not going to use words like rich and decadent, because it just doesn’t fit. But simple, fresh, and nom nom nom are words I will definitely use! They pride themselves using organic ingredients, too(While you can’t really taste something like that, I guess I’ll have to just take their word for it). After I got back to SJ, I kept thinking of that Lemon Cookie ice cream. Since they are a local company, I figure I might be able to find their ice cream at maybe Whole Foods or Zanottos or something. After looking at their website, it seemed I was able to get it at the local Safeway! Score! I never noticed. Maybe it’s because I kept going for the Magnum and Haagen Dazs bars. Not anymore! Now I will get Three Twins… with Magnum and Haagen Dazs bars.

Hmmm… a nice way to finish off my afternoon at Oxbow, but something about the ice cream just wasn’t my favorite — although I can’t put my finger on it! I ended up with a single scoop of banana nut(in a cup which was the perfect amount) after trying a few flavors. Must note the tasting spoons here are metal and get washed afterwards, so yay for the environment! Can’t comment on price since my brother paid, but I’m sure it was cheap enough. Plus he loved his double scoop in a waffle cone, which was filled all the way to the very tip of the cone! So — PROS — lots of different flavors you haven’t seen elsewhere. CONS — something about the taste just wasn’t quite right to me.
