I could not be ANY happier with how everything went using Peters Photography for my wedding. Not only did they impress me and my husband, but every single person at my wedding with their great attitudes and skill at getting the perfect pictures taken. I still have people asking me about them and where I found them. When things started getting tense before the ceremony Mark and Donnel were so great in making me laugh and feel more relaxed while taking my pictures. It was a joy to have these two by our sides during the wedding. When I saw the pictures from the wedding I couldn’t stop crying. They turned out exactly how I hoped they would turn out. The best thing about using this company is the reliability and trust that was formed from day one. I could tell Mark really loves what he does when I first met him and it shows in his work. The whole process after meeting for the first time was just easy and for an area of the wedding that has so much importance I did not stress out for once second that they didn’t have everything handled. I could not be any more grateful for their hard work and the results that came from that. I could not make any more higher of a recommendation for these two. I got married a year ago, October 5, 2013 and my husband and I used Peters Photography & Video and could not have been happier! Mark & Donnel (and a 3^rd photographer, I unfortunately can’t remember her name) were absolutely fabulous! I work in the wedding industry and have worked with MANY different photographers over the years and never have I come across a team that is more fun, professional and easier to work with as the Peters Photography crew. If you are looking for the serious, traditional pictures, they do them beautifully. You want the crazy, fun pictures you see on Pinterest? They can do them. We wanted a combination of both and they definitely delivered! We have received both our pictures and our video and loved every picture and every minute of our video. My favorite part of our video was watching all of my guests have a wonderful time and it was great to see all the little things that we may have missed.
I would recommend Peters Photography & Video a million times over. Fabulous people, great work all the way around.

Peters photography was one of the venders my fiancé and I looked at first, we meet with peter himself and his lovely wife Donnel. From our very first meeting I knew they were the ones! Peter knew exactly what to say to ease my crazy bridal mind and had the confidence that they would do everything in their power to capture every special moment possible!
Well not only did they deliver on their words they went above and beyond, peter himself and Donnel were taking pictures and I also had video guy (which I regretfully forgot his name) the crew of three was perfect! I haven’t even got the photos yet but I’m so happy with their work on the day of that I couldn’t help but write my review! They took every picture I could ask for plus more! And I would definitely recommend them to everyone! Love them!

My husband and I were just recently married and I wanted to document the day with a videographer, my husband was against it as we were over our budget as it was, but I found Peters Photography and Video to be very reasonably priced and extremely professional. After reviewing the video together my husband was absolutely ecstatic that I had gotten the videographer and said that it was the best money we had spent on our wedding, we’ve watched the video over and over with all our friends and family and it really does take us back to our special day and allow us to relive it again and again!
On the day of the wedding the videographer came early and started filming special and important details of our big day (stuff I never had a chance to see without the video) and stayed till the very last dance. He never pulled us away from our friends and family, (except one time for about 5 min to film us «walking away» that would be featured in our music video), and although he was there the entire time filming and capturing so many special moments (some of which my self and my husband had missed during the day) he managed to stay out of the way and not make people feel «awkward» that they were being filmed. When we received our video (which came in a very timely manner and in a very professional looking case) we weren’t sure if it was just going to be snip its of the whole day– we were pleasantly surprised to find that he had captured the entire day start to finish, edited it beautiful making flow together without any lulls, and had included a «music video» of the most important parts of the day (vows, first dance, cake cutting, garter/​bouquet, etc). I would highly recommend Peters Photography and Video for anybody regardless of budget– they let us pick out some pictures of each other to be featured in the video and let us pick out our own songs for a personal touch. They are very clear and organized about what they need from you. We did experience a few of the mishaps that happened during our wedding (as very couple will I imagine), but I never once had to worry about the videographer!

Early on in our planning we had decided to not go with a videographer. Fast forward 8 months, we realize our wedding is going to be SO AWESOME that we just had to have it on video. Luckily Peters had a videographer available, and their price range was much closer to what we were willing to pay.
We were really impressed with the sound and visual quality of the video. We had considered having a friend do it, and I’m glad we hired a professional. I had not met Jared, our videographer, beforehand, as you sign with the company and then they choose the videographer for you. He was right on time and patient. I had worried that there might be tension between the photographer and the videographer. There was a tiny bit, but Jared took it like a pro, realizing that the photographer was running the show and humbly staying out of her way.
What I don’t like, but I think this is true of all videography, is that you have no choice in what goes into the video. It kind of is what it is. This includes some super cheesy shots I didn’t want, but they never asked my opinion. They seemed to focus more on getting their regimented shot than the actual content of the shot. For example, as they were doing a span of the table, they caught me coughing really ugly and inquiring about a guest who was a no-​show, and I really didn’t want to relive that.
Some things that were missing include my dad lifting the veil over my head and passing me off to the groom. And a wide shot of our bridal party during the ceremony – one of our bridesmaids was crying hysterically and I really wanted to see that! Maybe these were super ugly – I didn’t see the unedited version. The close-​ups on us and our reverend were great.
More cons: They asked for 3 songs for the video and 2 back-​ups. After the first song ended, they restarted that same song so we essentially have the same exact song back-​to-​back on our video. They couldn’t have used a different song?
More pros: The DVD is broken down into chapters, which is great. I also loved the feature of having a shorter video to show friends and family.
All-​in-​all, I think many of the problems would have been ameliorated if they had asked me what I wanted before the wedding, and how I wanted it edited after the wedding. This may not be industry standard, but it should be for the amount of money we’re dishing out (even if I paid comparatively less than others).
Still, we are SO GLAD we got a videographer – we never made it to the cocktail hour, which we had really wanted to do, and the night went by so quickly that I felt like we missed so much of it. The whole night was a blur, and it was so nice to play it back and get the outsider’s view. I would recommend Peters if you’re on a budget and don’t expect the end product to blow you away.

While on a business trip to Sacramento in early October my fiancé and I had a small window of time to try to find a photographer to take our well over due engagement photos as well as accommodate the location of the Napa Valley wineries. What she quickly discovered was there were a lot of overpriced, overpromised and under delivered photographers out there and then just about the time we were about to throw in the towel because we were running out of time she ran across Peters Photography. When she started telling me about the company and what they had to offer, as a business man that negotiates for a living I was very skeptical but then I said hey what the heck, with the countless things they had to offer as well as their portfolio but most of all what people had to say on Unilocal we thought to ourselves this is too good to be true. From our very first communications with Donnelle my fiancé couldn’t stop saying how pleasant all the communications were and the company as a whole started exceeding our expectations as well as our strict time limit requirements right from the beginning. Then we met Mark the photographer, I don’t think I can actually say how incredible both my fiancé and I felt. In the beginning of the photo shoot I was a little uncomfortable taking directions as if I was a model but then I could tell how well polished Mark was and immediately he made me feel comfortable and the next thing you know he had taken well over 200 photos and the time flew by and I actually had to say it really made having these engagement photos a memorable time that will never be forgotten, but what really helped make the moment was Mark’s professionalism and how to adapt to different personalities in situations and he just made it FUN!!! We had so much fun we have now included Mark into the plans to take the photos for our destination wedding, that’s how much we think of him as a photographer and a person with incredible creativity.

Mark and Donnel were great photographers and worked very well together! They both had creative ideas for our wedding pictures and made my wife and myself feel at ease. Both of them have great personalities, kept us laughing and relaxed during the wedding. They’re very professional when taking pictures, but like to have fun with the photos, too.
Their prices were affordable especially for having two photographers. We would recommend them for any occasion!

I searched Unilocal for a wedding photographer and came across Peters Photography. I inquired with other businesses as well but decided to go with Mark and Donnel because they were very attentive to my inquiries and seemed genuinely interested in taking our wedding photos. Mark is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable. He and Natalie (the second photographer) had many photo ideas that really captured our wedding day and they made the experience fun and exciting. I anxiously wait to see our proofs as I truly know they will be great! When Mark and Natalie saw shadows or too much light through their lenses they immediately made adjustments to get the best picture and their prices are also very affordable! Definitely exceeded our expectations by far, my husband and I recommend Peters Photography for anyone needing a wedding photographer.

Peter was such a great pick for my photography!
He really gets to know the couple and what their wants are. He arrives early and stays late. He blends into the environment so you feel comfortable. He is sensitive to the shots you must have and those that aren’t as important. He took time to show me pictures along the way, so I felt most confident as the wedding proceeded.
His prices are very on point and affordable. I am so glad we selected him for our wedding!

When my husband and I got married, the most important thing for us were the pictures! Without a doubt. So when I was looking for a good photographer, I was recommended to Peters photography. From the very start Mark listened to every little detail that we wanted. He worked around our schedule and came to our house for our consultation. I hired Peters Photography and Video for my daughters recent wedding! They did such an amazing job. From the moment that I signed the contract and throughout the entire process, they were so professional and easy to work with. They made sure to stay in contact and get all the details so they dont miss an important shot. Mark and Donnel definitely exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend also getting the Video. We received a copy of the video shortly after the wedding and it was so much fun to watch. On a day when things are going so quickly, you tend to forget special moments, which Jake, their Videographer, was able to capture. It made the day even more special, so that we could relive it over and over again. Great job!

We were recently married in April and loved working with Mark and Donnel. Mark also did our engagement pictures back in February. He is so easy to work with, very laid back so that the pictures look so natural. Every single picture from the engagement to the wedding are absolutely fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for better people to work with. Donnel is great with communication, whenever you need anything she gets back to you so quickly and is so friendly. Their personalities are amazing. If you’re fun and upbeat people you should definitely consider hiring Peters Photography for whatever your event may be! I was married on Sept 17, 2011. We were refered to Mark Peters Photography back in June by our florist. We had engagement photos taken in Napa and we were so happy with the results. Mark and his wife Donell are truly awesome great people and wonderful to work with. They made our wedding so much fun and the pics came out phenominal. We also had a videographer who was fantastic and the reason why is because he was there son. I highly recommend Mark Peters photography and video to anyone looking for a photographer or videographer. Not only were they fun, friendly, funny and just sweet but they are also very resonable in pricing. We felt so comfortable from the second we sat down and met with them.

Peters Photography and Video was the perfect choice for us. It was a second marriage for both of us, and we didn’t want a lot of «traditional» photographs. Mark was very professional and helpful while we were deciding which photographer to choose and never made us feel pressured about any decision. Once we selected them, he helped us decide which were the most important photos to catch. Donnel was responsive by e-​mail and phone, making sure that we had everything in order before the big day. Best of all, Mark was able to get all the photos we wanted, i.e. special groups of friends and family, without spending a lot of time away from our guests. Plus, he captured the fun party feeling of our celebration without getting in anyone’s way. We were very happy with the price and even happier with the outcome and recommend them highly!

Peters Photoraphy and Video from start to finish is the best company we could have chosen to capture our wedding day. Mark and Donnel are wonderful and so easy to work with. Our photos turned out absolutely gorgeous and our video is stunning. Both captured so many moments that we had either missed or forgotten that day. We couldn’t be happier! Peters Photography did a FANTASTIC job on our wedding photos. Mark was an absolute dream to work with, and most importantly we got GORGEOUS photos! Mark and Donnel exceeded my expectations. They were a pleasure to work with. They made us feel at easy and weren’t pushy. They gave us direction, which was needed on such an emotional and busy day.
