Napa Valley Transit System

Busses are dirty and almost never on time (and more expensive than some others I ride)
Drivers and dispatch are often surly or downright rude.
And management cares less than the drivers.
Oh and don’t expect to use the rest room at the terminal its usually disgusting and often has broken equipment.

I was very disappointed but am a adjusting my attitude after a manager called to address the problem. Drivers are great — friendly, courteous, and capable. Yesterday my first bus did not appear, called for info, «busy, leave your number and we will call you back». Still have not been called. Called again and was shifted to someone else with no heads up, then dispatcher rudely says «You just have to wait». A polite response goes a long way. I know stuff happens. The «Find Your Bus» feature on the website did not work. That is why I called in. So I got to wait an extra hour for the connection I missed — the 21. Today I got on and was charged double what I was charged yesterday — twice what the printed info says I should be charged.
I am upgrading my review because managers did follow up and call me today to discuss what happened and to refund the overcharge. That works for me.

Today Saturday 01/​05/​2013 I caught route 7 bus at Salvador & Jefferson at 1:12, I was going to catch the NB #10 bus at 1:25. The driver of the #7 bus called dispatch 3 times asking to have the #10 bus hold for 5 minutes. We he tried to confirm with dispatch they informed him that #10 had already departed! I was stuck to wait another hour, REALLY??? Because their bus was running behind? So I I got a ride from a very nice lady to catch the # 10 bus in Yountville. Well i made it in time to catch the #10 NB bus, went to give the transfer to the driver oh my you woul have thought I was trying to hand him something nasty. So I paid another $ 1.50, but point being I shouldn’t have had to chase the bus down and then pay again. I am fully disappointed with the Napa transit system!
