Learn the popular new sport of SUP on the Napa River

Paddlers ride the flowing tides of the San Francisco Bay up through this restored, riparian corridor where the salt water and fresh water mix creating a rich wildlife experience both above and below the surface. Tours meander through tidal marshland past the restored Oxbow Preserve coming to land in the Oak Knoll Viticulture Area. Along your journey, you’ll spot wild grape vines, the first hint to settlers that this would be a promising viticulture area. Shuttle service may be arranged. Self guided tours, rentals and kayaks also available.

History

Established in 2012.

Napa Valley Paddle introduced SUP to the Napa River in 2012 with a Surf & Terroir tour offered exclusively by Andrew Lane Winery for its club members.

To date we have hosted over one-thousand clients on the river, shucked 3000+ oysters and poured some 40 cases of Andrew Lane Chardonnay and Whole Cluster field blend. And we are thrilled to now open up this amazing tour to the public!

Imagined in the Andrew Lane Winery tasting room as a toast to the commitment the Napa community has made toward the health of the broader San Francisco Bay; With over $ 1 Billion dollars of public and private investment spent in downtown Napa and its river, please join us to explore this natural gem we are calling the Yankee Stadium of paddle boarding! Cheers, Team NVP
