Sharon Burns is seriously the best! She took my vision and turned it into a magical weekend with our dream wedding! She made sure that everything was perfect and made sure we received everything we wanted. She has a great relationship with so many vendors and it was not hard to make decisions with her there to help. I feel so lucky to have worked with Sharon and she now holds a special place in my heart. Thank you again Sharon, for the best day of our lives!

Every chance I have to work with Sharon and Jessica at Napa Valley Custom Events it is pure pleasure. I work with Jessica often at Milliken Creek Inn where she coordinates small weddings. Jessica is ALWAYS upbeat, cheerful, kind, enthusiastic, well put together, and keeping everyone organized! She and Sharon genuinely care for their clients and deliver tremendous planning and coordination services.

Sharon and her team executed things flawlessly at a wedding we were involved in at the gorgeous Kunde Family Estates (kudos to venue as well!) Great staff, clear communication and creative flare insure a wonderful party when Napa Valley Custom Events in involved. Excellent work!

My husband and I had our wedding at a family vineyard in Napa and Sharon not only coordinated the whole thing, she knocked it completely out of the park. This was a destination wedding for not only ourselves, but all of our 125 guests. We are so thankful to have had her throughout the entire process. It was way better than any wedding I had imagined.
I flew up to Napa twice and felt that I could have even just gone once. She knew the ropes so well that she suggested and handled aspects that I never even thought about, but were important. Another HUGE part to it was that the vineyard was under construction the entirety of the planning process. She developed a great relationship with the contractors, estate owner, and winemaker to ensure that everything would be ready for the wedding day. She also completely designed the ceremony, cocktail hour, and receptions sites to my taste and they turned out GORGEOUS. It was all transformed in a day and then back to normal the day after with no input from myself or my family.
Her vendors are absolutely top notch. She has amazing relationships and partnerships with everyone we used and was completely open if I wanted to bring in someone different (I used a local photographer to where I lived). She coordinated absolutely everything between all of them and they did an amazing job. My husband and I were told countless times over by our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and so gorgeous. The food (Park Ave. Catering) was absolutely top notch, the florals (Julie Stevens Design) were what made the décor, the music (Grapevine Music) kept the party going. It all just came together so perfectly and I have Sharon to thank for that. It was an absolute pleasure working with her the entire way through, from almost a year out, to the day of. I never felt any stress towards the wedding and I would consider myself a more budget-​conscious bride than the norm. She was easily accessible, and could always give me an honest opinion. I relied on her knowledge, expertise, and opinions on pretty much everything. We clicked immediately and I felt like I have known her for years with how easy and fun it was to talk to her. I never could have done this wedding for a second without her. I am so glad that I can look on my wedding day and engagement as a lovely, stress-​free, and exciting time. Thank you, Sharon, from the bottom of our hearts for the wedding of our dreams.

Sharon was our wedding planner for the destination wedding in Napa. The ceremony was held at a private estate and reception dinner at a winery for 100 guests (mostly international and from the east coast). Sharon had fully exceeded my expectations and my husband and I are very thankful for arranging our day perfectly.
When I started looking for a wedding planner 5 – 6 months earlier and found Sharon, I had been looking for the following:
— experience: I wanted someone who could stay calm at unforeseen challenges and respond quickly (and Sharon shined during the Napa earthquake and the rain/​hail during rehearsal which happened the day before our wedding)
— good taste: someone who could help me find value for money
— good personality: someone who could be empathetic and emotionally supportive (I knew I would be stressed out) and also who could put up with my skepticism and picky personality.
— professional, responsible, attentive, etc. other important qualities.
I was planning my wedding in Napa remotely from NY and had interviewed or had e-​mail communications with at least 20 of top rated wedding planners in the Napa area and Sharon was the one my husband and I liked from the beginning. I didn’t realize how many weddings she had done considering the small number of reviews on here, but she’s one of the hospitality veterans in Napa. Her service fee is not low, but is very reasonable for value.
We contracted the full planning and day of coordination service with Sharon. But she has done above and beyond what we had put in the contract. Some of our guests were having trouble making golf reservations and Sharon went to the resort herself to get the matters resolved. When the earthquake happened, she kept us updated of the situation of all our vendors promptly and volunteered to give her contact info to our guests in case they have inquiries. On the wedding day, it rained the day before and I may not have been able to take photos in the vineyards — Sharon went to the hardware store in the morning to buy plastic tarp so that I could take the photos without getting my dress dirty. She went to the winery to pick up the welcome champagne for our guests and brought them to my room upon arrival. And these are only a few of many things she had helped us with, in addition to all the planning duties in the contract.
Her having long years of experience in hospitality industry in Napa, before becoming a wedding planner, and having established a good relationship with many vendors helped us negotiate and get better/​faster help here and there.
And the day of — from the beginning, it was obvious that she knew very well what needed to be done. Our rehearsal and day of, everything went smoothly (and our ceremony and reception were held at two different venues so the guests had to be transported and we had no problem). She was great at orchestrating the vendors, giving directions gently to the guests per timeline and taking care of the groom and I. So all we had to do was enjoy the day, take photos, mingle with the guests and go where Sharon told us to go :)
It’s not easy to put her work in a few lines here but my husband and I can easily say that planning the wedding in Napa remotely would not have been possible without her (we had made only 2 trips prior to the wedding). Sharon made our wedding exactly the way we wanted, at the price we wanted and she did it with such enthusiasm and warmth which we appreciated lots. It was not surprising that we received many compliments from the guests for the organization of the events.
I highly recommend Sharon to any brides planning their wedding in Napa — with her, you’ll be in good hands.

Sharon, the owner of NVCE, is phenomenal. She was our wedding planner and did a fabulous job. Our guests were incredibly impressed and multiple people have called our wedding the «best one they had attended.» Sharon has a variety of vendors with whom she works but is also happy to work with new ones. I particularly like that Sharon worked with us and the vision of what we wanted for our wedding as opposed to pushing her own ideas and vision.

Sharon is truly amazing and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. She is smart, funny, kind, highly organized and detail oriented.
She helped ease our minds on so many levels! She was with us all day and took care of about a million details, from the flowers, to the transportation to and from our ceremony site to our reception, to preparing our favor bags, to making sure we had wedding cake to take home, just everything.
Our wedding day was the best day of my life and I feel very strongly that Sharon was a huge part of making it so memorable and truly perfect in every way.

We got married this past weekend in Napa, and about 90% of the 90 guests at our wedding flew from Houston all the way to Napa (including the bride and groom)!.
I only met with Sharon once in Napa, before choosing her amongst several other wedding coordinators in the area! We only made one planning trip (when we met Sharon) and did everything via e-​mail and phone calls! Sharon was our «eyes and ears» on the ground and she coordinated EVERYTHING perfectly from the linens (which I had never seen until the day of the reception) to the venue to ALL of the vendors. We flew in for our wedding weekend extravaganza, and EVERYTHING was PERFECT! All of our venues were breathtaking and completely unique and gorgeous. The entire wedding reflected our personalities as well as was implemented perfectly by Sharon and her staff!
We could not have done it without Sharon! I’m a very «hands-​on» person when it comes to picking colors, flowers, etc, but I would NEVER have been able to do this without her. SHE IS AMAZING – and SUPER SUPER nice at everything she does.

Amazing — Sharon and her staff worked so hard to accommodate for the untimely rain at my wedding. She was relaxed and collected the entire time and didn’t show an ounce of stress in a very stressful situation (we had to change the ceremony AND dinner from outside to inside, upstairs in less than 30 min)
She’s extremely enthusiastic and has great vision — she worked with what I wanted and enhanced it all with her genius suggestions.
From the engagement to the wedding (18 months!) she was there the entire time. No keeping track of bills, deadlines, etc — she does it all. I give Sharon the credit that I still don’t understand why brides get stressed, now I realize it’s because I had Sharon as my wedding coordinator :)
