Dustin is super duper when he’s helping you find your dream mattress. Dustin listen to our needs (my husband and I have different firmness taste) and he pointed out a few mattress for us to try. He’s not pushy but knowledgeable. He gave us the time to go back and forth over a few mattress must have been there for an hour or so. Finally we chose a mattress and had it delivered a few days later. The whole team at Matthews Mattress tries their best to meet their customers demands for once a place that cares about their customers needs. I will always recommend Dustin and his 5 star team.

On a recommendation by my chiropractor we stopped in today to purchase a new mattress. Jim (Manager) and was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He didn’t try to pressure us into the most expensive mattress. He listened to our back issues and asked appropriate questions about our sleeping habits. We found the mattress and there was no sales tax, free delivery, mattress cover, 15 yr warranty, and a frame. What more can you ask for? Thank you for the great experience!

Dustin gave us the best mattress buying experience we’ve ever had. We went with our three children in search of two completely different mattresses for our two sons. I would give 20 stars if I could. Went here after spending a lot of time at Sleep Train — they were very helpful and informative, but after explaining to them we had to purchase many things since we just moved they would not provide an exact price for the mattress.
We went to Matthews and Jim was very helpful and had us try a few beds. We ended up with something completely different and we love it.
The reason for the 20 stars is due to their flexibility. We realized we needed a king bed (after getting a queen) so they delivered that to us right away. But they also worked with us on some last minute financing that we needed. It was probably a pain for them, but it helped us out tremendously and alleviated a lot of our current stress. So, thank you to Jim and Dustin and everyone that helped.
Thanks to them, we are definitely sleeping better!

The guys helped my Aunt Donna get a bed and frame that was perfect for her. My mom and I arranged it as a gift for Donna, but she went in and picked out what she wanted. Went to all three major mattress places in NAPA today, and far and away the store manager at Matthew’s was the best.
As a previous sales guy, I can always tell when a sales guy is an honest and good human being, or a lying scummy sack of you know what.
Dustin Snider was genuine, knowledgeable, and helpful. I didn’t end up making a purchase today, but if I ever need to in the future, he will be my man.

***SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE!!! I already knew what Tempur-​Pedic mattress I wanted. So I called Jim at the Vacaville store which is temporarily handling the Napa area until their new showroom opens Mid-​May. Jim provided optimum service right over the phone. Called me back in three minutes with a same day delivery time. I paid for the purchase right over the phone. Delivery was a three hour window. Am so looking forward to a great night of sleep tonight. Thanks Jim for meeting my needs. Wish Matthews Mattress success in their new location.

Needed a couple of mattresses and looked for a local business on Unilocal.Matthews mattress had good reviews so decided to stop by and check it out. The salesman really knew his stuff. We asked many questions and he guided us to a few options. After spending the next 30 minutes laying down on a few to get the sense of sleeping, we ended up choosing two. Given some extenuating circumstances we could not have them delivered right away (in fact, a couple of months) but they were great about holding it with only a deposit.
We had them delivered last week so I’m excited to bed down and try it out next week after they air out a bit (tip: need to jump on the posterpedic and let it air out). Great customer service from a local shop!

We have been in the market for a new mattress for a few months mostly doing online research. After purchasing a couch on the other side of town, we were on our way home when we decided to stop in at Matthews Mattresses just to test a few in person.
After being in the store only a few minutes, we were on our way to purchasing a comfortable, affordable mattress set and bed! Dustin was the main reason for us feeling ready and willing to buy something on our first in-​person test. He was friendly, personable, helped educate us on the many different options and in no way pressured us to buy. From beginning to end, everything about the experience was great and we can’t wait for our new bed to arrive tomorrow (oh yeah, did I mention free delivery, set up, and removal? !?)

OK so I’m back again, 4/2/2014,third time and literally a year to the day since my bother bought his bed, and like I mentioned before my dad was in serious need of a new bed, went in around 11ish and was greeted by Dustin, again he remembered us and asked if it was my dads turn for a new bed, he showed us some great beds and had my dad try them out, he tried out about 4 or 5 and finally decided on a full bed, its literally the same style bed my brother and myself have bought from Matthews Mattress, we ordered it up and was delivered today, will continue to be a proud customer of Matthews mattress and let people know where to get the best priced beds.

Buying a new mattress is easily the smartest purchase we’ve ever made. I have chronic back pain and my chiropractor recommended a new bed, and told me to go here. BEST. DECISION. EVER!
I feel a bit ridiculous that it took me so long to buy a quality mattress. If you have back pain, do yourself a favor and invest in your own health and well-​being. We’ve NEVER slept so well. No more rolling around in bed, changing positions, waking up 10 times a night because I am sore. I fall asleep in 1 position and usually wake up in the same position now. Changed my world.
Buying a mattress from here was great. We were made to feel very comfortable and left feeling well informed and educated. The experience was easy and Dustin was very helpful and friendly.

I walked in to find one couple working with a sales attendant. I stood near the front of the store, roughly 20 feet away from the attendant, waiting for a hello or welcome — none of that came. I cruised around the store to check out the beds, hoping for another attendant to pop up and assist with a handful of questions I had. While checking out the beds, I noticed that none of the prices or inventory reflected their various forms of marketing (online, print ad in mail). In fact the prices were far higher than advertised (surprise).
After about 15 minutes of walking in circles, I finally received a very brash «I’ll be with you in a bit» from the attendant. He then went back to sitting on one of the beds and discussing his personal life with the couple in the store.
This was laughable, so I split. I’ll be spending my $ 3k-​$ 5k some where in the city or online for a quality bed — not at this place.

We tested numerous mattresses last weekend, made our selection, were offered an incredible price (better than any other store in our area), and just had it delivered in record speed within the time frame promised. I was thinking about replacing my daughter’s twin bed with a queen, and stopped into Matthews Mattress to see what they had. I was promptly greeted by Dustin, who was not only helpful but very friendly and personable. He showed me a few options, and when I told him I didn’t want to spend too much since my daughter no longer lives at home, he directed me to a floor sample that was brand new and a great deal! I bought it on the spot, and it was delivered and set up less than 24 hours later. Amazing service, great price, and what appears to be a very comfortable bed!

This place is awesome. I’ve been to other mattress stores where the prices are way over the advertised price on the Internet and the employees stare at you intently while you try to find a comfortable position on the mattress… creepy. The guy here was really helpful and I feel like I got a good deal. We ordered our mattress and fancy frame.
Because we bought the mattress late on Sunday, it was delivered the next day. We slept on the mattress and decided it was too soft so we called the store and he took care of us. We went back that night and picked out the one we really wanted (which was the one he recommended we get in the first place) and delivered it the next day, totally free. I was so relieved and have been enjoying my new mattress ever since.
On top of all that, that fancy bed frame I ordered was out of stock and was not restocked in the amount of time estimated so we got a higher model for the same price which was already a steal.
I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
