The WORST … Had a ladies birthday spa day planned and it was ruined. Reservations were made well in advance never received the email confirmation I requested. When we arrived at the location, the group was separated (when the req was for a party if 4) then the services we requested were not an option. But that we could opt out of those services but still pay the same fees… Not to mention we drove 1 hour to get there…
Im not even going to mention the sudden amnesia the owner had on the phone. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Being a faithful customer of the Napa location of Mais Oui, I decided to journey upvalley and check out the new train car location in Calistoga. I was absolutely impressed with the décor and functionality of this spa! Its charming from the outside and on the inside you would never know it was a repurposed train car.
The staff is incredible and always professional. The services + the price = one happy relaxed lady.

I made an appointment for my Mom, Auntie, and cousin to get a massage and facial. When the time came for them to get massages, the owner had said that I booked them for the next day. Since i had planned the entire weekend with a calendar at my side, I don’t think I made the appointment for the wrong day. It really upset me when I called and she kept saying, «maam, maam, I always confirm my appointments during the phone call three or four times.»
The fact that she kept calling me «maam» got on my nerves.
My mom, auntie and cousin said that they enjoyed the massages and facial but they get a 2-​star for customer service. Send out a confirmation call or email or something! We lost a whole afternoon together because of that mess.
She never one time said she was sorry or admitted that she might have made a mistake.

At first pulling up to this location, it was kinda iffy but as we got in the actual massage place, it was decorated very nicely and was clean. The effort to make it relaxing was immediately evident. The staff members were pretty friendly, esp to the lady who seemed like the manager in charge. We had a group of girls celebrating a friend’s birthday and each got different services. I got the july special strawberry/​lemon facial. It was superb! The staff was super quiet and it felt very relaxing laying there getting pampered. I enjoyed it immensely. They also gave us complimentary martinelli’s sparkling cider and we had a little table/​chairs set up outside to enjoy the snacks/​fruit/​wine we brought. The girls and I had a great time.
The only not so great parts were having to go around the other side of the building to use the bathroom which they gave you a key for. However, it was clean enough so that was ok. Also, the lady in charge when it was time to pay, told us our facials (plus automatic 20% gratuity for group) cost $ 48. I had precalculated beforehand and knew facial was $ 30 and with 20% tip would come to $ 36 total. I told her I thought the facial was $ 30 and she said oh the prices are different from brochures now. I said well that was not what was on the website, it said $ 30. She looks at the actual brochure and says, oh you’re right… it is $ 30. I’m sorry so it will be $ 38 with tip. I was going to argue that it should be $ 36 but I figured whatever, they did a good job with the facial so I’ll leave an extra tip. As I handed her my $ 40 cash, she goes, ok so do you need change? Haha…25% tip wasn’t enough I guess. Oh but yes, I asked for my change back.
Overall, they did a good job and was pretty friendly so if I need to find a less expensive place out in napa for facials/​massages, I may consider going back there again.

I was blown away by this place. I took the day off to visit the «friendly» folks over @Napa DMV & figured what better way to end the day w/​a massage. I Unilocaled what spas were around the area, found Mais Oui (pronounced «May We»), & figured I’d give it a try.
Service: considering it was a complete last minute/​same-​day booking, the fact that they were able to accomodate us (two people at the same time even) was very impressive!
Location: two cozy suites in a commercial building on the 3^rd floor. The setup is very different from any other spa~ split offices, narrow waiting room area, & bathroom located on a different floor.
Ambiance: ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!!! Dim lighting, cute décor, relaxing atmosphere, 2 cozy chairs to lounge in & drink hot tea, & equipped w/​a trendy closet w/​two spa robes to change into.
THE massage: one of the best we’ve ever had! My masseuse, April, was very attentive and catered wonderfully to my needs. When asked to increase the pressure, she did so perfectly. I felt like I was in a dream-​like state. My mother was also very pleased w/​her treatment. Michelle was able to transition my Mom from a nervous wreck (had a bad day) into a complete state of relaxation. It felt great to see her so happy, especially one day post-Mother’s Day! Thank you, Mais Oui.
Bottom line: we are definitely coming back for another visit! Stellar massage, reasonable prices, & am excited to try their $ 100−100minute massage/​facial package. Try it!!! =)

Like so many other couples on Valentines day weekend, I wanted to do something special for me and my boyfriend. Thus I turned to google (with Unilocal as a backup of course) Sure a lot of crazy overpriced places came up. Yes, it was more in a business office complex, but that doesn’t mean that the interior was the same. The room was a nice size with a cute little changing area. Dimly lit with a nice little fountain and some soft music playing. More importantly everything was really nice and clean and neat. The atmosphere was relaxing and the massages and facials were more than I could have hoped for. The hot stones were a really nice edition as was the cider and chocolate at the end. You don’t have to be at some over priced, über intimidating resort to have a nice massage. The staff was really friendly and I really couldn’t have asked for more.

I had a great massage by the owner for a great price! I hear they recently changed suites within the complex and that it’s a much better location than before.
It is a little bit of a hassle to go pee with a key but for the price it’s no big deal! I will be back.

This was a pretty dreadful experience.
Firstly, all the staff members were incredibly awkward. Have they interacted with human beings before?!
We got there and it was in a weird corporate building-​ish place, and to top it off, it was split in two parts of the building and you have to walk outside to get to the other half. You have to walk around the building and use a key to use the building’s bathroom (again, walking outside) and it was kinda strange to do in a robe.
So onto the services. I wanted the deluxe service which consists of a 50-​minute massage, 35-​minute body scrub, and 25-​minute facial (total: 1 hr 40 min for those keeping count) for $ 100. Good deal, right? Well, that was about all it was.
My masseuse was incredibly weak. It felt like I was just paying her to touch me which is creepy as hell haha. At one point when asked if I’d like more or less pressure, I said, «Could you just do the most pressure you’re capable of?» Hahha. still weak.
The body scrub sucked. Basically it was just the body scrub pearl stuff put on me then wiped off. Really?! Definitely not worth it.
After about an hour when the massage and body scrub were done, the masseuse said the manager told her they were out of time and couldn’t get to my facial. Umm, what? The manager blamed it on the masseuse, but obviously it was an error in scheduling and not in timing by the masseuse when you take into consideration how long it was supposed to take. The manager was probably the most socially awkward of all of them, and she was pretty incompetent as well.
Word of warning: NO CASH ALLOWED. Also, no Amex either. The manager said since there wasn’t time for the facial, they’d take that off the price and since the price of the facial was $ 25, it would be a total of $ 85. «Wait, can you do the math for me again? How does that break down?» And she says well it was $ 25 so I took that off the price. Right, but that would make it… $ 75? «Oh, sorry, I’m really bad at math.» Really?!? You can’t subtract $ 25 from $ 100?! And if you’re really THAT bad at math, please always use a calculator instead of making shit up.
After we left, some of our friends went in since we had a large group. They ended up giving them a free coupon for me for a free facial, but 1. do I really wanna go back? and 2. I don’t know the next time I’m gonna be in Napa. They should’ve just given me a discount.
Extremely displeased with this place. Not worth the «deal» that you get.

Because Mais Oui felt the need to respond, including things that imply that my review is fake when it’s not and including something about being late (when we were not late — actually we waited for some time), I felt the need to respond to a few of their comments even though this was quite some time ago. As mentioned in my review, I did NOT receive a full 100 minutes of treatment which is why there was no question that they should’ve deducted the facial from the price. The discount card was not satisfactory because who wants a discount from a place that I did not enjoy and that is in Napa (which is far from me). Moreover, I was not informed that the bathroom was where it was, as suggested by Michelle L.
I’m sorry if your business is not doing as well as you’d like, but perhaps instead of spending your time on responding to these reviews, you should spend time on improving your services and treatment of your customers. My review reflects my opinions of my experience and although it may not reflect everyone’s opinions of the place, I am entitled to that opinion. That is all.

Couple massage for $ 200 includes facial and body scrub with a fifty minute massage and the opportunity to customize the package.. . where can I sign on the dotted lines? The only reason why I didn’t give a 5 star is because during the facial my masseuse began cleaning up, which involved washing and drying of the facial materials. After being in a totally relaxed and Zen environment where the only sounds to be heard were soft water drops and soothing music the clinkering of the dishes, slamming of the cabinets, and the sudden burst of the pipe was to quick of a reminder that this type of paradise does not last for to long. I only hope that next time she will wait to do housekeeping after we have left. That was my only complaint and I know that sounds petty.. . but it was a true jolt from relaxation. Regardless, both the masseuses were super nice and great. The massages were awesome, I would not get the body scrub next time and opt for a longer massage. Loved the «glow» facial. Skin was super soft. The mister had a 100 minute massage and he loved every minute of it. It was clean, relaxing, and affordable.

I came back for a 2^nd time. This time I brought 3 of my girlfriends and we all had 50 minute facials. So wonderful. Great prices. We all LOVED it. Two of us got the mud mask, one got the milk & honey, and one glow mask. They all include neck, shoulder, arm, hand massage. With no makeup afterwards my face was smooth, soft, clean, and glowing. I’ll be back. This is my Napa Spa Place.

After reading the two reviews on Unilocal,and seeing the deluxe package deal I called to reserve two packages for my bf and I. The entrance was a bit tricky because Mai Oui was located on both sides of the stairs. Anyways we walked in and met our masseuses. They left us alone to disrobe and get on our massage tables. I really enjoyed my massage and body scrub. The facial irritated my skin a bit, but thats just because I have sensitive skin. My masseuse was very very good, she applied just the right amount of pressure. The products all smelled really wonderful and the music was tranquil. This deluxe deal is great! Everything I mentioned above for the price of $ 100! The only cons I would point out is that the water fountain thing was a lil too loud and there were no shower facilities. My bf says that his masseuse didn’t apply enough pressure, but it was up to him to tell her that. The owner gave us $ 25 discounts for our next visit.

my mom and i went here while on vacation in napa. we were both new to facials and spa treatments, so we got the most basic thing we could find– the 25 minutes for $ 25 facial. it said it included a neck and hand massage, but we got a head, foot and full-​on arm massage. the lights were dim and there was soothing music and a fountain. the scent in the room was gorgeous-​sort of a subtle rose-​almond. all the products they used on my face smelled heavenly too, and my skin felt very soft all day long. afterwards we got into robes and had some chocolate and evian water. the ladies were very nice and made us feel comfortable and pampered. i’ll definitely go back here if i’m ever in the area!
