Coffee is pretty weak and my pastry was stale. Also, service is not great. I had to listen to a loud conversation between workers about how the barista is so annoyed by environmentally conscious people/Prius drivers. Pretty unprofessional seeing how there are customers here0 you may be offending.

The coffee is good. However, it is not as strong as Peets or Starbucks. The yogurt is really creamy like those frosty cones you had as a kid. Service was ok. THEONLYPROBLEMHEREISNORECYCLINGRECEPTICLE… let’s be socially responsible and join the 21st century, Browns Valley Yogurt & Espresso Bar.

We enjoyed really great coffee here. My husband had an Americano and I ordered a cappuccino. Both great quality coffee. We also loved the free wifi and the friendly service. Really cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating :)

I have literally been going here since I was a small child always enjoyed it last time I went in I ordered a choclate vanilla swirl size junior and normally they give you a good ammount in that size the young man behind the counter literally barely filled it up over the top of the cup I was actually kinda insulted by the ammount He put in there. Espically since they have always been consistent about that. Sort of turned off to going there now. Bummer

Whenever I treat myself to coffee, this is my place of choice! Not only is it conveniently placed on my way out of my neighborhood in the morning, but it has delicious coffee & plenty of other treats to choose from! The staff and owner are super friendly, always welcoming myself and other customers with a warm hello and a lovely smile. My favorite coffee drink is their mocha ice rage, yummy! I especially love that they have the option of soy milk, yay! Keep up the great work!

I LOVE this cute little neighborhood gem. I stop here most mornings as a midpoint while walking my dog. The coffee is outstanding and always fresh and hot. They buy from local roasters and I’ve enjoyed every flavor they offer. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Macadamia– YUM! The folks who work here are warm and friendly, and my dog is always happy when I come outside with a doggie biscuit for her, from the well-stocked jar on the counter. Sometimes they even have a bowl of water outside for the many canine friends who stop by. I love this place!

This place has great coffee. Nothing better than waking up and walking down to the market to enjoy a cup of joe. Small establishment with lots of personality.

Nice advertising… NOT!!! your hours state you are open until 9pm. well, that’s not true as 25 minutes ago we went there to get yogurt and you were closed! when you look up BVY right now, it shows«OPEN»(right now) in green letters next to Saturday. This is the 2nd time this has happened. We enjoyed being able to take a 5 minute drive to get what we consider to be great yogurt but that’s no longer going to be an option for us. and we will be sure to let everyone else know in the browns valley area about this…

GREATCOFFEE. This place is prefect for coffee on the go. The Browns Valley Yogurt & Espresso Bar provides 4 different coffee’s that include regular, decaf and two specialty coffee’s for the day. All help yourself. My two favorites are Chocolate Macadamia Nut & Snicker Doodle. They are both sweet and flavorful enough, so no need to add sugar just a hint of cream. All the necessities for your coffee are provided and there are 3 different sizes to choose from. This place has been around since I was a kid and it truly resembles a locals hang out for those who live in the area. The staff is always friendly and I mean always. I have NEVER had bad service here before. You’re always greeted with a smile & the staff contributes to the ambiance by making you feel right at home. The frozen yogurt is tasty. They usually provide 3 – 4 different flavors & they’re delicious by themselves. No need to add toppings! Nothing like Yo’belle, but keep in mind — simple. This place is perfect for families in the area to grab some frozen yogurt, especially for kids that go to Browns Valley Elementary School since it’s close by. They do accept credit cards now so don’t fret about having change at hand! There are small tables to relax at and even a few window seats. There is also a small bar to make yourself comfortable at and even an outdoor picnic table. This place tends to have a cabin feel to it. Nothing fancy but very simple and comfortable.

The French Roast was so weak that I had to ask for a shot of espresso to be added. ONly charged me a buck which is cheap for a shot of espresso but since i had already spent over 2 bucks for what was pretty watery coffee, maybe shoulda just given it to me. On the upside, yes, they employ teenagers but the cute blond kid was very nice, quick and helpful and friendly. He was swamped but handled it. Maybe the owners should stop being so cheap and get 2 employees in there… I mean, if they are only hiring really young kids and paying minimum wage, they ought to be able to afford it… This place is neither here nor there: I like to support local businesses but the place is tiny, they skimp on staff, they skimp on coffee, just nothing stands out.

I go to this place because it happens to be next to one of the worlds(im not exaggerating here) best chocolate places, La Foret. Latte’s are decent and they use the Big Train line of products which I’ve not see in a long time. It’s off the beaten path a bit so if you’re in the area, it’s worth hitting La Foret and BVYEB when you’re in town.

THISISNOTSTARBUCKSFOLKS! So, expect to pay cash and be welcomed by someone who is not in a hurry and knows your name. This family owned local yogurt, coffee, tea, scone place is my one of my favorites. The college bound teenagers who work here are friendly and keep the place spotless. If what you want is not on the menu, they will try to create it for you. A while back I craved a coffee yogurt shake. I did not want something made from a powder or mix. I requested blended espresso, milk, and yogurt, and that’s what I was served. Thanks to Tyler for recommending the vanilla yogurt with peanut butter cup pieces. And, Monica, I hope you return during your college vacations. Shady tables and benches are arranged outside for one to enjoy their treat so although this is a small place, there is usually seating available. Stop by when you have a craving and remember to leave a tip for the college fund.

I wanted to treat my son to a special treat and wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, the yogurts we got were gross(they had Oreo flavor and some fruit flavor). They were over priced and the toppings were stale. I guess I’m going to continue to go to Yo Belle from now on. It’s unfortunate because Browns Valley is so much more convenient that the drive across town for Yo Belle.

Dropping my son off to school one morning, I popped in for a cup of coffee to go around 8am. Small place with a few tables here and there, each one occupied by a different old guy face buried in a paper. Stone quiet. Saw a teenage girl in the back room texting and fixing her hair. Grabbed my cup, filled it and approached the counter. I paid, and I don’t think we said a word. Really all that doesn’t matter, but I had to write this because the coffee was SO bad! Like coffee flavored water, thin and bitter. Yuck. French roast!?! Threw it out. Better luck at 7 – 11 I think. Sorry!

This is a tough one. The yogurt… yummy good! Customer service… not so much. Let me explain. The first time I went in the early afternoon, there was a girl probably in her late teens. Very nice & helpful. Second time I went was in the late afternoon & the girl was in her early teens. I felt like I was bothering her. WHen I walked in she got up from her chair at the table with two boys, came to the register, did not say anything. OK, I ordered my yogurt, she told me how much, I paid, said thank you & walked out the door to sit on the bench. There was no goodbye. Just a bad experience. Unfortunately, customer service can make or break

I had heard the word and the word on the street, was it’s all good at Brown’s Valley Yogurt & Caffeine Bar. So while on the West side of Napa, I happened on in on a hot November afternoon and was pleased to find 3 unique flavors: Ghiradheli Chocolate, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and Very French Vanilla,(or sumptin like that). This is a quaint little coffee, tea and fro-yo shoppee just off Brown Valley’s Road in the plaza with Browns Valley Market a few doors down, so after finding your fav wines among their fine selection of hard-to-find vino, grab a scrumptious picnic lunch at the deli, then you can stroll down to get some refreshing fro-yo after working your mind in the market. I had the Pumpkin Cheesecake after a sampler taste, as it sounded sort of strange and I thought it might be a bit of sweet and sour, but I was pleasantly surprised and must surmise that it was really flavorful, sweet but not too sweet and of course I had them add cut almonds for a cool and crunchy treat. They didn’t have a lot of add-ons, but some good ones, m&ms, Butterfingers bits, all that good stuff. Pumpkin Cheesecake was really good, unique, real tasting with no artificial aftertaste and some of the best low fat yogurt offered anywhere. It was creamy but not too thick and had a light, melt in your mouth fine texture. You get a feel they are into quality here from the padded seats, wooded décor and cleanliness. The coffee, tea(TZAO) and all offerings are high quality name brand garb, the seating is comfy nice both inside and out and the feel is one of a college coffee shop-the outside seating is at a table under a very large Oak tree that gives the blessings of shade. The attendant was attentive, prompt and very competent, so bonus points for hiring local college kids who understand customer service. It’s a small space but does much with little. While enjoying my sumptuous serving of yummy yogurt, I was able to peruse the SF Chronicle as they always have newspapers for you to read, a simple pleasure I enjoy so I don’t have to buy a paper every place I stop for a meal or chat. The size I got was mid sized, but she just layered it up real high, so you always get more than you think based on cup size versus serving size, just like… hmmm, nevermind. With almonds, of which she was smart enough to put into the middle vice the top wehre they just fall off mostly! It was like $ 4 total and a little expensive but not really given the quality of the Yo and the size of the serving, the shoppee setting, which even has a bathroom! Yippee! Please NOTE: CASH or Local Check, not Credit Cards or Debit Cards. So, this Fro-Yo destination makes my list for return visitation! Frolicious!

this place was awesome! Wife and I wanted froyo outside of where we usually go(our love/hate relationship with Over the Top Shop in AmCan) and was pleased to find at least two places that served yogurt in nearby Napa. This was our first stop and glad it was! It was a slow lazy Sunday and not too many people in the parking lot. As mentioned from a previous review, you’d never know this place was in Napa. Small shop with not too many flavors to choose from but the flavors they had were great! I had Butter Brickle combined with Peanut Butter. Not only was it really creamy, it was claimed as nonfat. Yumm! Not only that, the yogurt was not watery unlike one yogurt establishment out of American Canyon by Walmart and right next door to Panda Express that starts with the word Over and ends with the word Shop… I will come again and well worth the drive!
