Always a great experience! I had a flat tire today and dropped in. Kevin and his crew took good care of me.

I didn’t buy tires from them, but I spent some time interacting with them. Although it’s a «meh» review, considering all the great reviews of this shop, this review should probably be considered a one-​off.
I requested an online quote for Michelin Premier A/​S and Cooper CS3 tires for my ’14 Accord. I Inputted the specific tire size requirements with a note that I would need the tires installed the next evening or morning following.
I got a return email indicating that they didn’t have either tire I wanted, but could get me alternatives. The offered me Michelin Defender and Cooper CS5 tires. Well, it turns out, Cooper does not make a CS5 in my size. It took me talking to Napa Tire Inc. to figure that out (see review).
Anyway, I called B & G Tire after Joe D’Amato Tire fell through with the tires that they provided me a quote for (see review).
I asked for Kevin or Abel as the earlier email asked me to. Kevin was not available, but Abel got on the phone. He started by telling me «just come in» and they would find something for me; but I told him that I needed to know price for the Cooper Tires (this was before I found out from Napa Tire Inc. that Cooper does not make them).
My phone log shows that I spent 22 minutes on the phone before finally hanging up – I was on hold for about 18 of those minutes. Abel asked me about 4 times for the size of my tires — would have been nice if he had written that down after the first time — and then said he didn’t have Cooper CS5 tires, but did have CS3’s. I asked for price, he put me on hold for a long time before I finally hung up. I neither heard back from them, nor did I try following up.

Went to B & G Tires for some technical help. Kevin was very knowledgeable and he pointed me in the right direction. He was able to solve a problem that no one else could. He also set me up with some quality tires at a very reasonable price. Thanks guys!

I am so impressed with the fast, affordable, professional service I received from Kevin and the rest of the staff today. I called late in the day (around 4:15) and he was able to get me in and out with 4 beautiful, new tires on my car in 35 minutes flat. Kevin also took time (after they were technically closed) to diagnose another car issue I was having. He knew exactly what the issue was after a spin around the block and he offered a very fair price to fix that at a later date, should I choose to. No hard sell. Just good, honest business. Very refreshing. He was recommended highly by Tino, the owner of Budget Tune & Lube, here in Napa (whom I also highly recommend).

5+ stars! Kevin and his team are wonderful! Professional, honest, great work, excellent communication and kind… I was a little frantic and upset when I first got there and Kevin and his team were very nice and quickly offered assistance. Even when I locked my keys in the car (yes, while getting a new tire put on) they were there to help! This is the only place to go in Napa if you need a new tire or repair! It’s a small family business in our community I am happy to support… I can’t thank them enough!

I have had my tires patched here twice over the past few years. Both times an errant nail had punctured my tire. Kevin and his team are AWESOME. They are super courteous, efficient and their pricing is excellent. The other day I stopped in and I was in a hurry. I really wanted to put the repair off for a few more days, but Kevin was so caring and kind and convinced me it was worth it for me to take a few minutes and wait for the repair. Super nice guy and his staff follow suit. Well done and thank you all!

I needed to replace a damaged tire. I called first thing in the morning and they did not have the tire in stock but got it in that afternoon. I arrived at the end of the day and Giovanni got the tire mounted and installed quickly. Extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent service.

By worst the ever tire store I’ve been to. Customer service was substandard. I couldn’t believe I was either speaking to the manager or the owner as I was told. Was given the cold shoulder as if my money wasn’t good enough. I drove in and a nice BMW, but I guess I was too young and flashy for him. All I wanted was an estimate on some new tires. He told me he didn’t have the time to check the tires out as he was going to have lunch and I could come back in an hour. I told him it will only take two minutes to tell me if you think I need new tires or not. He actually was walking away as she was talking to me with this back towards me. I will never again go to mom and pop shop for tires. I’ll stick with the chains that actually have cheaper prices and the second you pull up though fill your tires for free with air if you need so and also rotate your tires for free. That would be big O tires. A great place to have your tires rotated for free or have them fix the puncture for free, no charge whatsoever for these three procedures. You would think with today’s economy they would be begging for customers to come in and please them in any way they could. If I could put zero for stars I certainly would. I will never go back to this Stabley shipment if it’s the last place I have to go for tires. I’d rather drive to Vallejo or Oakland for that matter. Not that they are bad places but statistically they are. What I meant was, I would drive far just to get the service I deserve like every other customer. I found the prices to be overpriced and not a very good selection of tires as I walked in the store after the manager/​owner walked away from me. In fact when I asked him if he is the owner or manager I never got a straight answer but a worker told me he was the owner. These are strictly my opinion and you may have had a better experience than I. But this experience left me flat

Kevin and his team were beyond helpful. Their service was fast and well priced, and they made great suggestions and showed me spots on the car that needed attention. 100% pleased with my visit!

I’ve taken both our vehicles here in the last year. Kevin is the best. He is honest and accommodating. As far as I am concerned there are no other tire places in town.

Husband had a nail in his tire and needed fixing. He had trouble getting timely service at many places. He even had appointments that we’re not honored for timely repair.
Went to B & G Tires and was brought right in with very friendly service and a pleasant homey atmosphere. A family owned business with a welcoming feel. We had dealt with B & G Tires many years ago in Clearlake, and now B & G Tires will be our shop of choice.

Kevin is very helpful. He does not sell you more tire than you want. He asked good questions and was very helpful in helping me make a decision for both of my cars. Not only was he helpful, but he is just an overall good person. I highly recommend using them for your tires and brakes. Honest and helpful people.

I took my Toyota Tacoma into B & G Tires as I thought there was an issue with my rear brakes — this was my first visit to B & G. Turns out my trucks’ brakes were just fine and all I was charged for was the diagnostic. Nice to know there is an honest automotive repair shop around the corner! Thanks Kevin, I’ll be back if and when I ever have brake issues in the future!

Excellent service, they were extremely busy when I arrived but I wasn’t in a hurry. Good thing too, Tammy was attentive and pleasant, Giovanni was professional, very accommodating and thorough. I didn’t need brand new tires after all, but when I do I know where I’m going. Highly recommend B&G Tire
