We go to this chain often especially in Ramsey. However the second time we come to this location we heard a customer witness the manager no less, take her incorrectly ordered burger out of the trash and put it on her salad. It was shocking. Needless to say I won’t be returning here with my kids or alone.

Bring back the Vegas burger dammit… that was my favorite. The New Yorker and Avocado Club are also good, the latter of which makes for a bangin chicken sammich. That said, this Smashburger has been like every other one I’ve been to(a whopping 2) The truffle mushroom burger hit the spot and was appropriately juicy and greasy. This location gets props for getting the smashfry oil ratio right… skinny fries can’t be drowned in the stuff(ahem, Herald Square)…appropriately seasoned but still crispy. I’ll be back, I work nearby.

Great food! First time at a Smashburger and it did not disappoint. Best chicken sandwich ever! Beef Burger was delicious and the kid devoured her grilled cheese. Yum!

Delicious and juicy burgers! My personal favorite is the Truffle Burger. You can choose to size up and get a larger patty or stay with the regular size depending on your appetite. The smash fries are okay, but nothing special in my opinion. They’re thinly sliced and have a special oil on them and some spices for flavor. Like I said they’re okay. The real star of the meal is the burger. They’re a little oily but are packed with tons of flavor. I’ve tried a bunch from the menu but my burger of choice is the Truffle Burger as I mentioned earlier. You can choose to carry out or dine in. If you’re getting your meal to-go they have a standing bar for you to wait at. Usually they are quick with getting orders done regardless of carry out or dine in. It’s a casual ambiance and they’re good at seating you right away. I haven’t encountered the restaurant when it was super packed and have had to wait for a table. The line is usually long because of people doing the carry out option so don’t be discouraged about the wait. It goes by quickly.

My 9 year old daughter wrote this review: Pros: Good food. Especially the fries. Good drinks. Very clean. Good atmosphere. Nice interior design. Friendly service. Good in store marketing. Like the plating. Like the consistent branding. Good source of happiness. Cons: Needs larger table seating. Better music. Better lighting. Staff should be better dressed. No uniform. Deliveries should come in before or after opening. Better location. Don’t like seeing into kitchen when she’s eating. Would like to see a drop ceiling or drywall instead of industrial ceiling look. And a healthy salad for dad. :)

Walking into the smash burger I felt the sense of the American Dream. The sweet smell of patties filled my nostrils as I walked up to order. I ordered myself a simple smash burger with a side of fries and sat myself right down. An interesting thing about the smash burger is that once your foods ready, they bring it right to you. You can be a true American and have your greasy goodness handed right in front of you. First sight of the burger and god damn it’s a good one. A good sized one, juicy and tender to the touch. Then I look at the fries… The fries… Honest to god these are the freaking thinnest/smallest fucking fries I’ve ever laid eyes on. You can mistake them for 5 day old infant pinkies their soo god damn tiny. I was befuddled. You have this beautiful burger… Served with bitch fries. I thought they put me on weightwatchers with the size of these fries. But the burger made up for it. That was one fine burger and I would return for that only.

Hit or miss. Staff is fine. Some stand out some do not. But fries are almost always like I Am getting the bottom. Always vey small broken pieces. Hamburgers are a bit greasy and from what a friend that worked there said. The freeze the meat. Which would be opposite of what they say they never do hmnnnnn. Its just alright. I guess thats what you get from«fast food»

This is one of my favorite burger places ever. I’ve tried a bunch of their burgers and they’ve all been good. I love the black bean burger and the burger topped with cucumber, spinach and goat cheese. They have great fries too. They also serve beer which is cool and they have some awesome shakes like oreo and butterfinger. If you like hamburgers I’d definitely try this place. The only thing I had here that I didn’t like were the fried pickles because they were way too salty but other than that everything has been great.

Quick(10 mins), relatively inexpensive. $ 12 for Smash fries, Blue cheese burger, and drink. It was quiet and clean. They initially messed up my order but made a quick save. Definitely better than your standard road trip food.

Don’t go to smashburger for the burgers. They’re dry and tasteless. If you want a burger, go to five guys down the street or even zinburger if you’re feeling fancy and have loads of cash. The fries are where it’s at. All the fries on the menu are fantastic. Crispy and fresh. Smash fries are rosemary and olive oil covered= perfection. They’re shoestring and easy to eat on the go, too. The milkshakes are made with hagendaz ice cream so they’re flavorful but not the best milkshake I’ve ever had. They also sell alcohol for dine in patrons. It’s a burger joint. Don’t think of it more than that.

Had a spinach, cucumber and goat cheese burger with smash fries and a chocolate Oreo milkshake. The burger was good. For a place that prides themselves on using fresh ingredients, especially the beef, it’s a good sign that the beef patty isn’t in a perfect packed circle! There’s rosemary, olive oil and garlic on the fries so it smells really good. It’s also really oily, but I don’t eat Smashburger very often, so i think it’s okay. The chocolate Oreo milkshake was alright. It could be made thicker. They probably blended it too long so it got kinda watery. Took one star off for that! The service is good! The workers are friendly and nice and the place is clean and neat.

I got the original smash burger and we had ordered fries around. It tasted good but it was just really oily for some reason for both the burger and the fries. Not something I really want.

Well here’s the thing. I love burgers. Bun and patty burgers. These burgers are tasty but not the best burgers I have had. Especially in the area where there aren’t many burger spots. But hey, I’m not a food expert. So I ordered the truffle burger today and it did fulfill my craving for a burger but one thing really displeased me. When they brought the burger to the table, there was an odor coming from it that resembled the stench of gas. Like gas at a gas station gas. It kind of threw my stomach into a whirlwind, but I’m a fatty at heart and still ate it like the good boy that knows there are starving children in third world countries would. I am overall happy with my meal here. They do serve beer which is pretty cool, so naturally I had a 3pm beer like any sane person would right? Overall experience is a «B» but a «B+» for having that pretty girl behind the counter! I hope my girlfriend doesn’t read that last part…

Love at first sight! The clean, modern atmosphere paired with their welcoming staff was more than enough to impress me. Their menu, bold and creative, caters to any type of palate– burgers, chicken and veggie lovers. Seal the deal with a cold beer and start drooling! Smashburger offers the perfect balance of freshness and well-crafted deliciousness. Enjoy my fellow foodies!

I was previously disappointed in a different location. This time I had the New Yorker with grilled onions, cheese, baby spinach peppercorn garlic aioli. This was really good. Also had the Oreo milkshake. Loved it but it’s time to start watching my calories, so no more of this for awhile. Ate some of the fam’s regular fries and haystack onions, both awesome. Can’t understand a previous Unilocaler complaining of oily, water soaked burgers. I’ll repeat this experience anytime(after I drop 20+ lbs).
