The food is delicious. But what will bring me back again most; is their service. Both people I came in contact with were so sweet and personable. They made the experience so nice. It can be hard to find such great service nowadays.

Happy Teriyaki falls into the category of what I call «quick bite» restaurants. We were the first to arrive and literally every one in of the staff greeted us.
We ordered a combination plate: chicken teriyaki, rice, steamed veg, and added an eggroll. Everything was served fresh, piping hot, and tasted great. We shared this dish, which I am glad I did because it was plenty of food for both of us. I like that this teriyaki places serves the steamed veg on the side rather than a salad. Also, the teriyaki sauce had a hit of bbq flavor, which I found tasty. When we left everyone waved and wished us a good day… hence, the name HAPPY Teriyaki.

Woah! Awesome food & portion sizes at a great cost. My husband and I split an entrée and were both extremely satisfied. The egg rolls were amazing! The wait time was short but long enough to know they were not microwaving your food! The customer service was nice and pleasant and our waters were refilled consistently! We will defiantly be back!

Delicious food great prices! Reminds me of Portland! I go here about 1 – 2 a week. Very good service too! If you want some fast food without all the grease, go to happy teriyaki!

I arrived at the noon lunch rush, and still made it in and out with my to go order in less than 10 minutes. The chicken teriyaki was hot and delicious, the rice and veggies were also cooked perfectly, and the egg roll was hot, flavorful, and delicious. They included an extra egg roll for their grand opening special, a nice touch. I was quite pleased and will be back again!

Meh… just another strip mall teriyaki experience. I’ve had the happy bowl twice and it was pretty good. The prices might be a bit high but not off the wall crazy. $ 10 for a bowl with chicken and rice.
It’s good enough for a quick lunch if you are tired of burgers. Although this place seems to be a magnate for screaming kids…

A little spendy for lunch. Got two lunch specials and spent 24.34 and also ordered 2 bubble teas with no toppings cost 9.27. Happy that I tried it once.

Although it was the lunch rush to their credit, that doesn’t excuse the fact that the fried shrimp tempura was cold inside and we didn’t get water we requested with the meal and had to ask again. The beef fried rice gets 3 stars, it wasnt exceptional by any means. Maybe other dishes are better??? We’re not going to risk it.

We gave Happy Teriyaki another go after running some errands in the area and I’m happy to report that the chicken teriyaki and gyoza were far better than the last time we were there. Perhaps this is because the opening madness has died down, or maybe it’s because they improved the recipe of the chicken teriyaki. Either way, I will be back to monitor the situation… and eat chicken teriyaki! Worth a try if you’re in the area.
