This is the nicest grocery store I have ever been in. Think wholefoods, but a little smaller and a lot less crowded. In addition to having a great selection of healthy ingredients, their prices are very competitive (especially when compared to similar types of healthy grocery stores). They even gave us a carton of eggs on the house because the bar code wouldn’t scan! They had awesome customer service and everyone was equally friendly. I highly recommend checking them out.

I’m giving 4 stars in the context of the location where there are very few options and none that are like Whole Foods. It’s pretty small and limited but nice meats and other specialty items.

The worst Fresh Market I have seen in 20 states. Crappy produce, the worst I have seen, clueless people who dont know whole foods. its obvious they dont. The prices suck as you would expect in any FM. Whole foods is 100 times better than this place.
Unfortunately Whole Foods is 2 hours away in VBeach.
The bread has dough conditioners in it. But mostly its lousy produce. Get some decent veg in there and get some people to manage it that know and care about good food. Fresh Market jumped on the natural foods bandwagon when it looked like they could syphon off some rich boy money in places that WF didnt want to setup.
They are way behind and need to fire all the bad business worms that manage it and get some people who know good food. Or else they will fail.
I wouldnt be surprised if they close this store in the next couple of years.

So happy to have this option (other than Food Lion and Harris Teeter). This store is like Whole Foods in setup and atmosphere — they sell fresh flowers, fruits, meats, baked goods and prepared foods. They also sell coffee and candy in bulk. Their salad bar and prepared salads were a relief — especially since eating out all the time as a tourist was taking a toll on my stomach.

Really liked everything about this store. Clean, excellent customer service, variety of options. Much like a cross between Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. Great grocery store option for the Outer Banks.

A great addition to Nags Head. Fresh vegetables and fruits. A meat case to die for. We just picked up a few items but everything looked high quality and fresh. I have frequented these stores in other locations and have never been disappointed. If you like Food Lion then don’t bother going here! These stores are in different leagues.
