— When it’s time to move to the next level, you need someone who will maximize the advertisement of your home, show to prospective buyers, negotiate the purchase contract, arrange financing, oversee the inspections, handle all necessary paperwork and supervise the closing. I take care of everything, from start to close.

I have had the privilege of living in some different settings in my life, meeting some wonderful people from all walks of life. So making the decision to call the Outer Banks my home was an easy one. Having the experience of building homes and developing property for several year before moving here, I made a smooth transition by working for one of the Premier builders on the Outer Banks. Building a home here is unlike any other, with unpredictable weather, salt air, and desire for the best in coastal living and the building standards are high. Through the relationships formed in the rental, service, and design industries the transition to realtor was easy. With my knowledge of construction and codes for the Outer Banks and NC, I feel capable in guiding buyers to a well built home. I believe providing the same service that I would expect. Being there past the build completion or purchase for the client.

I attended Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va. After college I started my sales career in furniture sales were I made the Presidents club the last two years. I was then hired by HMS of VA to manage the west and southwest sections of the Virginia. Thus beginning my start into real estate by providing seminars and scheduled consolations for Long and Foster, Wiechart, Remax, and others. I decided to change directions and open my own construction company. I married in 2002 and as my business grew my wife saw less of me. We decided we were ready for a change. so we closed the doors and moved to the Outer Banks. I then went to work for Bill and Kim Lane overseeing the construction of Lane Signature Homes. After much thought I felt being a Realtor would be my best fit as I could enjoy sales as well as using my knowledge of construction. After one full year with Resort Realty I was named Top Producing Agent for 2013 and also receive the Agent’s Choice Award.
