Description

Specialties

An authentic, diversified family farm. On a visit to the farm you can meet the farmers, take a free tour (including our coffee fields, Aquaponic system, and organic gardens), learn about Hawaiian honey, Ka’u coffee and macadamia nuts, meet our 6 parrots, and sample all of our delicious products.

We specialize in hand-crafted, artisanal. 100% Hawaiian products, including macadamia nuts that are dehydrated rather than roasted so they taste more like the fresh macadamia nut right out of the shell, unique varieties of chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, award-winning 100% Ka’u coffee, and several varieties of raw, natural Hawaiian honey.

History

Established in 2006.

We purchased 75 acres of land that had been neglected for years and was so overgrown we didn’t even realize there were 25 acres of fruit orchard already planted here. It took us 2 years to restore the farm and liberate the trees from the vines and tall grass that surrounded them. In 2006 we moved to the farm full time from Oahu and started our farming enterprise by establishing an apiary and selling honey. Since then we’ve planted acres of coffee, established relationships with several Ka’u macadamia nut and coffee farmers, and introduced the Hawaii’s Local Buzz brand of honey, coffee, mac nuts, chocolate-covered mac nuts, and Tropical Shortbread cookies.
